A giggle would be his reply, Buttonstitch laying on her side on the floor. She had a dreamy sort of smile on her face, eyes half-lidded and legs curled up a bit. In the past few minutes,  she had just made more than a few sounds that were quite uncivilized for a mare, but it had been worth it. "That was nifty~." Her voice was soft, and she couldn't move if she wanted to, the glow of her horn finally dying down. She would change him back once she got back to normal.

Now that was a sight to behold. Never had he thought himself capable of...this. He was happy with the result, but he was surprised that he had that in him. He mimicked what she did before, laying down next to her, draping a wing over the recovering mare.

Buttonstitch shook her head some, head still spinning a bit. "No... I don't think I quite did that to you." She let herself recover a few moments more before finally moving. She rolled onto her stomach, but stayed under his wing, looking up at him. "Think I ought to get you back to normal... You're a walking color clash." She chuckled faintly.

"I don't know, I think I was not too far behind." Max was reminded of his...color issue.

"Oh yeah. I guess it would be weird looking like something out of a filly's coloring book. But are you sure your magic has uh, stabilized? As I recall, you were flinging crazy spells out left and right towards the end." Max glanced over his shoulder to find that the room had several interesting effects. The bed was now a cloud, the water in the flower vase was melted chocolate, the flowers themselves being cotton candy. The floor was magenta colored, and the Pegasus was almost certain that the wall clock came to life, and was giving them uncomfortable looks.

"Mm... I told you - spontaneous casting." Button got close, gently kissing him and closing her eyes, her horn glowing. The magic came off her in a wave, slowly turning the room and Max back to normal. Even after the magic died down, she didn't break the kiss, the mare's ears lowering in her hair.

Max managed to keep his eyes open long enough to see him and the room get blanketed in a wave of magic. It felt warm, almost comforting. He closed his eyes, kissing back and pulling her in so that they were pressed against each other in a tight embrace. His mind fogged over again, letting this moment go on for as long as he could. Eventually the need for air got to him, and he broke the kiss. He looked right into those flawless emerald known as eyes.

"Well, cant say I saw my day taking this turn. But I am very happy it did." He spoke very softly, just short of a whisper. He had both wings hugging her now, and he felt a warmth in his chest.

"I was thinking of heading to the music hall but we can go to someplace else if you don't want to Jars" Equinox said as he kept the door held open. "How about we leave Canterlot and head to a different town" Equinox suggested as he thought Canter lot was getting boring and there isn't much to do here.

Button let her eyes open as the kiss broke, smiling. "I'm happy too." She giggled softly, glad he was back to normal as she gently stroked his mane with her hoof. She made a mental note to thank her mother once she visited her home again for teaching her how to preen; it had really come in handy.

Max couldn't think of anything more to say, so he leaned in and kissed her deeply. He would be happy to spend the rest of his life in this position. He never has experience this much joy in his life, and probably never would. Maybe getting drunk last night wasn't such a bad thing after all.

Her green eyes were wide, meeting his own. Part of her knew the past was the past, and it didn't matter now, but she herself was troubled by it. And if she was going to get into something serious with Max... He had to know.

"Its ok if your bored and all we can leave" Equinox said as his hears perked up yo hearing the song he was just humming a bit ago.
