[The Ponyville Critic 304]

"Great, i have what i want but i sparked a fight between two of my friends. I don't want to reverse what has happened, but i can't stnad to see them fight." Missy walked out of Arrow's room and into her own. She looked through bookcases.

"Ok, ok, i just need to find a spell that will make her not hate me and want to snap my horn off." Missy said rather crazily. "I guess time spells are out of the question too."

"Missy, stop, you're going crazy again." Missy's mind told her.

"Nonsenses, i'm perfectly fine." She said, again in a rather maniacal tone.

Missy looked in a mirror, she looked like she belonged in a crazy pony's hospital. Missy sighed and faceplanted the floor.

Arrow sighed. "I screwed up, okay ? I wasn't thinking straight. It was wrong of me, and you should be angry...I understand if you don't want to be around me but I still want to be friends with you...you're a wonderful pony Electro Dash." She said, holding back the tears that were threatening to come out.

Electro Dash sighed but never turned her head. "No I'm not. I'm not wonderfull at all. I'm to picky and whiny, i've committed at some point. I don't even know how to read Arrow, I don't even know how to read! I don't even... J-just i'm not even going to bother. Just go away and let me wallow here in my sadness."

As Missy lay on the ground, she started thinking of home, not Ponyville, actual home, it's been 8 years since she arrived in Ponyville, saved it from a mysterious alien race, almost got crushed under a pile of books and met her parents again. Over the past 8 years, nothing significant had happened, nothing was in grave danger, everyone was happy, why couldn't Missy be happy?

 

((When i say, "why couldn't she be happy?" ,I mean truly happy, no problems, no obstacles, just happiness.))

Cawana shrugged her shoulders as no one came to answer the door. I should open the door and see if they are ok. She thought as she turned away and walked down the stairs. She then made her way to Star notes while dancing a little.

"And I say HEY its a wonderful time of day!" Cawana sang as she came from behind dancing. Cawana looked at Star and blushed a little as she thought of sharing the bed with her. That was bucking awesome! She thought as she trotted along with Star

Electro Dash sighed but never turned her head. "No I'm not. I'm not wonderfull at all. I'm to picky and whiny, i've committed at some point. I don't even know how to read Arrow, I don't even know how to read! I don't even... J-just i'm not even going to bother. Just go away and let me wallow here in my sadness."

 

"Stop doubting yourself Electro Dash...of course you're wonderful. Wallowing in sadness won't get you anywhere. Take it from somepony who knows. "Well I'm done practicing for today were is everypony at maybe I should go and see Fiera she should be in her room I think" Luna said as she was walking to Fiera's apartment and knocked on the door. "Hello Fiera it's me Luna I came here to talk to you" Luna said.

Fiera turned her head to the door when she heard a knock.

"Who wants to know? Not like i'm a burglar or anything" she said to the voice.

'Its probably just a voice inside my head, wondering if i'm still alive.'

"Also watch out if you decide to come in, i might have dropped a few thorns on the ground. Stinkin' cactus..." she informed the probably voice in her head.

This time, Fiera actually recognised the voice.

"Oh, hey Luna. Come in if you want. Just layin on the couch, after a terrible accident" she said and winced as she accidentally laid on a thorn that she missed. She sat up and pulled the thorn out (somehow with her magical hooves of magnetic grip) slowly. It was embedded rather deep, might have even been more than an inch.

 

She was also rather confused as to who knocked before. The door muffled the previous voice, but Fiera had heard Luna's voice enough times to know it was her the second time.

Electro Dash stood up, and began to walk for the door. "Then I know what I won't be going to." She said as she closed the door behind her and went for a walk in the park. She began to trot around alone untill reaching a bech, where she sat down and watched the others in the park.

"Arrow?" Missy asked as she exited her room and walked towards the living room, she trotted in and Arrow was just standing there, Electro Dash had presumably walked out.

"This was a bad idea, i should've kept my emotions in check, stupid me, stupid... lovely... mare."

"Arrow?" Missy asked as she exited her room and walked towards the living room, she trotted in and Arrow was just standing there, Electro Dash had presumably walked out.

"This was a bad idea, i should've kept my emotions in check, stupid me, stupid... lovely... mare."

 

Arrow sighed and watched Electro Dash get up from the couch and walk out. She turned to Missy with a rather sad look. "I screwed up, Missy...I really screwed this whole thing up." She let out another sad sigh and rested her head in her hooves, staring down at the floor.

"Oh goodness, now what do i do?  Arrow is upset now, wait, i have a good idea."

Missy ran off and collected the cloud blanket, she wondered if she should throw it

over Arrow, Missy had made so many bad decisions in the space of an hour.

"Should i comfort her? Does she want to talk to me? If i try to comfort her, will she just push me away and blame it all on me?"

Missy decided against (probably her better judgement) and sat down next to Arrow and put the blanket over her.

"So how have you been I haven't seen you for a while so I decided to come and talk to you if you like and it seams most of the other ponies are busy right now so what would you like to talk about" Luna asked Fiera curious and wondering what to talk about with her.

Fiera smiled. Luna's ability to never pause during a sentence was entertaining.

"Well, i was out and about doing acrobatics on cactus. Apparently, that doesn't work. I nearly killed myself, but thats all part of the fun, isn't it. What about you? What have you been up to" she asked.

Arrow smiled slightly as Missy put the blanket around her. "Thanks Missy." She said, her smile fading slightly. She was happy that she had somepony there but being around Missy made her feel like that was mean to Electro Dash...but...she was still happy that Missy was there.

Missy could see the look in Arow's eyes, those mysterious, yet attractive eyes.

"You can't blame yourself for this, you just made a decision in a difficult situation.", she moved closer to Arrow, wrapping her hooves around her. "I just want you to know that i am here for you."

Arrow nodded. "I suppose you're right..." She said.
Missy was indeed right...Arrow felt the need to make everypony happy but knew that doing that would always leave somepony else happy...most of the time it was herself...but on the odd occasion it was a friend...and Arrow felt terrible no matter what.

Missy gained an affectionate expression, she gave Arrow a small peck on the cheek. "Here's an idea to help take your mind off of things, let's go to this fun little event down at a restaurant opening not too far from here, i'll give you something semi-fancy to wear and everything." Missy was smiling as she said this, because she really was happy.

Arrow blushed slightly as Missy kissed her on the cheek. She sighed and nodded. "There's nothing I can do...you're right. Okay. Lets go" She said, standing up. "You don't mind me borrowing anything do you ?" She asked, feeling slightly worried that Missy may not want to let some other mare wear her things.

Missy turned to face Arrow "Of course you can borrow something silly, i suggested it didn't i? Anyway, it's not until tonight, but we can go for a walk or a fly right now if you want to." Missy said to Arrow, hoping that she would say yes. "I'd show you my gala dress but it's not here.

"Well...thank you MIssy. And I would love to see it sometime, I'm sure its beautiful. And a walk would be nice...but I'm not going to fly." She said, sitting back down and glancing around the room.

Missy trotted to her room,  she started making hoof gestures in a mirror that would usually signify victory.

"I have to sort out my mane, i look like a crazy pony." Missy levitated a brush over to her and started brushing her mane. Once that was done, she walked back into the living room, she gestured towards the door.

As Missy trotted off to her room, Arrow trotted into the bathroom where she let her mane hang down instead of having it tied up. She looked at herself for a moment before tying her dreads back up and trotting out of the bathroom.
She waited for Missy and nodded as the mare came out of the bathroom and gestured at the door. She trotted over to the door, pulled it open and waited for Missy in the hallway.

Missy announced that she and Arrow were leaving to the rest of the apartment, she walked out of the door and they walked outside the apartment.

"So, i noticed that your wings aren't that of a pegasus, judging by the fact that you are a pony in appearance, yet have a strong connection with plants, i'd say you're a dryad." Missy said.

'That was a bad idea, i don't want to go after a sensitive subject but i'm curious,' Missy thought to herself.

Arrow's eyes widened and she stared at Missy. "Um...what ?" She asked.

She was mentally going through her checklist...she tried her best not to smile...that show's off her teeth. She does her best not to stare into ponies eyes...because her own are a little different. And she always keeps her wings folded...

Missy was dissapointed with herself, she had just made Arrow feel, probably quite self-concious.

"Don't worry, you didn't give any obvious signs away, i just happened to notice those things, like

the mysterious quality your eyes have. And besides, i know what it's like to be different, as you can tell i'm an Alicorn, most people didn't accept that because i wasn't "royalty"." Missy explained to Arrow. "I'm sorry, i've probably made you feel really uncomfortable." They were walking into the main market district of Appeloosa now. "And anyway, i like your eyes, they're lovely."
