I have seen it, but I think the roleplaying concept is funny.

 

 

We, humans.. Roleplaying as ponies who then sort off roleplay like humans.

 

It can definitely work, don't get me wrong.

Okay... let me just say that i admit being a bit obssesed with making headcanon about the changelings. So i believe that they interpret thoughts as music. I also believe that due to this all of them can sing rythmicaly if not melodicaly. I believe it is the only way with which they can "feed" themselves. However this would require constant creativity and all the changelings working on that, but that is simply not possible. This method however has little effectiveness, and therefore doesn't solve much. This was kind of inspired by the rachni an insectoid race in Mass Effect.

 

I also have another headcanon about the link they share. I believe that the connection exists mainly among those connected either through blood, friendship, or love. However more potent changelings like generals can connect with their subordinates through mental prowess. Now how does the Queen connect with all of them and not simply go insane? I believe the crown is the key. I believe one of the Queens attempted this and charged the crown with the magic of their link resulting in all the following rulers gaining this trait. However the lesser minds that cannot handle such a link grow mad. This ensures that only the strongest mentaly, physicaly or otherwise arise to the leading positions. That doesn't mean there's no competition though.

There is nothing wrong with being obsessed with making headcanon, in my opinion. Character and World building are two of my favorite pastimes.

 

On the first bit: I do kind of like the idea of the Changelings 'feeding' themselves through music, but that's mainly just because I'm envisioning Changeling parents singing to their young child, and it's strangely cute. I am fine with it, since it's not a sure fire feeding process, and it still leaves room for my own HC bit that ties in with the myths of actual 'Changelings' that I explained a while back. Where a child, typically Pony or Zebra, is replaced by a Changeling child to allow the Changeling to feed.

 

 

On the second bit: I will incorporate this into my own, as it ties in with something I'd been thinking of a while ago, really. Kinda just how a Changeling could be mentally separated from the rest of the Hive.

A while ago in this topic i actually said about a story that describes that part inspired by a fairy-tale i read about in my class' literature.

I'd also say that a Changeling separated mentally from the Hive Mind would suffer horrible depression and would eventually, perhaps if it was a permanent separation, die of the loneliness. Cuz Changelings are used from an early age to hearing dozens of voices in their heads, to be deprived of all that would be devastating.

Sure is. 
Also, now that I think of it, Equestria probably wouldn't have a terribly high drinking age either, so it makes sense that some of the ponies would have drunk before. But at least there are character reasons for Dash and Fluttershy having not.

There is Cider, and grape juice which can be considered similar... also... don't you think it's a little bit of an over-reaction if because of what Col said for Rainbow Dash that it automatically goes true? Let me rephrase that... suddenly someone gives wine to ponies and in that instant they get drunk? This is just... no... just because there is a possibility for a situation to happen it doesn't guarantee it will happen... Sorry if i sound a bit pissed about this... i'm really not. Let's just say Twilight is over-reacting?

@@Dawn Stripes, Not i am just mentioning that some people tend to take advantage of the situation just to get things interesting. I've been through my "rp-ing career" through some very unpleasant godmodding people... and i've been like really pissed for that matter with the shit we've been through that's why...
