armor rings are rings that cover most or all of one finger, and has joints so you can still bend said finger, though it makes it hard to grip things, or play guitars. I gotta pic of it in the spoiler.

Well i learn a new word in english with you every day... anyways... i think Hypno being the DM has subconsciously made Colette be the kind of... center of the plot. I mean... there could obviously be other places they could gather. like QC being the one to return them... I do not want to seem as the one to whine about this.

So let me just say this... if the ponies want to party all day they can be my guest... i'd hate to see the Queen just make a portal and go home leaving them all behind to fend for themselves, better yet i'd hate to see Chrysalis become angry over the fact that these ponies are lazy enough to sit down partying. I already can picture QC motherfrigging yelling at them for dragging her behind and being the ones who actually got them in this agent mess with all their attention-seeking popularity.

This all is from QC's pov btw... anyways...

I assumed the Equestrians were going to be staying with their respective Finders. What I didn't expect was all of the Ponies to be staying together under Colette's roof, but it's just as well. The primary goal of the RP was to round up all of the Equestrians and keep them together so it'd be easier to get them home. Going to find them all again and again would get old super fast. As for everyone doing what they're doing, why not? Doing various activities, including the party, is a way to keep things interesting!

 

The queen has every right to be mad, but she and David chose to go off elsewhere instead - so of course she missed out on everything!

 

Taking off and leaving the Ponies behind would be a horrible move, as it would effectively maroon a Princess of Equestria along with the former bearers of one of Equestria's greatest defences. Not to mention, any chance any chance of negotiations with the Equestrian Empire would be off the table if she did.

 

Speaking of Queen Chrysalis, you've hit the nail on the head in the PM-- I see too many people trying to reform her, and that bores me a bit. I wanna see someone take the path less travelled and portray her as an antagonist. I think she'll be able to do a lot more and be more interesting. If you don't want to play her as a villain, that's fine, but I would like to see someone who would.

Well... Yea but... I just... Have a really great wish to teleport her there right now. I think that as soon as things are done in Miami QC gonna come back. I hate it... There goes my thought about gravity being lower and opening a portal easier.

 

I could play evil QC but... Just because i am not this doesn't mean you should let that affect your mood here. Not to mention that this rp did not give much chance. I mean the humans accompanying the changelings would try to sabotage them as soon as they found out. Resulting in a poor attempt and jail time. They would need money food love... How would they get that?

 

Not to mention 3v6 or 15 is hard to counter without any magic... I could try it next time... But the forseeable and almost definite failure discourages me. Greatly... Sure no pain no gain but still... It is even more boring when all evil does in the end is fail.

Would be better if in the sequel (and would be better as a sequel rather than a reboot as it gives infinate possibilities) that the villain was different to QC. As I said before somewhere in the thread, I have a villain named Avarice who could be used instead. Not necessarily with me playing her, but I'd be willing to let somepony else play her as long as they were happy to take direction from me at the start as to what her personality etc is like.

I mean, we can't have an RP based on this ridiculous level of interpersonal drama without adding any ker-blams? I just don't feel as though getting a 'bad guy' in is a priority. Our characters can be bad enough to each other at this rate.

Well... I would welcome something like that. Hell i even have my own villain in mind. But you have to consider the handicaps the ponies have... The fanbase the elements the power of love. All of them acting like a big reset button... It makes it kinda lame. That was also the reason the writers gave them back to the tree. Also the reason changelings got to them first. If you ask me the Queen should have won last time.

There's no point in making Queen Chrysalis a villain in this RP, nor in its sequel. I remember you mentioning Avarice, Pripyat, and we can work her and/or another antagonist into the sequel if need be.

 

Also, I was thinking that maybe the Queen's migration may not be necessary, as 00Pony's agents are planning to capture her... Maybe she could make her way to the others when she escapes? In the meantime, there's gotta be a way to get the queen more active in general? I wanted her to just as active as the rest, but truth be told, @Meteorite's activity is not really inspiring a whole lot confidence that we'll see that realized at this point.

 

Speaking of the agents, we have all sorts of agents working in different branches, or possibly outside government jurisdiction -- which more than likely means different facilities -- actually, things could get interesting if the agents fight amongst themselves over which 'aliens' they want. Or, one branch could want all of them.

 

Finally, it's time to address the elephant in the room. I won't go into soecifics, but there's been a dispute between Nios and myself, due to a very poor choice of words on my behalf. I apologized and clarified what I meant for him, and will be retconning my last post, so with luck, we can move on and get things back on track!

My agents are outside jurisdiction, yes. I have something that one of them wants to say to the Queen after capture, or at some point in the future, but yeah. Basically, just looking forward to getting them into full action.

 

My agents are aiming for all of them, but they're main priorities are the Queen and Twilight. Though if they get one of each (Changeling, Unicorn, Earth and Pegasus) they would find that ideal. But you know.

 

A fight between agents might be interesting, as well. Suppose we'll see what happens, yeah?

 

 

EDIT: just a heads up: any post I have tomorrow may come later in the day than I'd hoped. I'm being drafted into helping to repair a horse trail. Again, just a heads up
