In some roleplays I've been in before, I've managed to move myself (and the other players) almost to tears when I killed one of my characters off. May or may not have had anything to do with my picking really fitting songs to listen to while writing it, but hey.

And I was thinking having all of the agents follow the party in earnest at the race, as they'll be able to hide in plain sight, and maybe get closer to the Pony Party!

I was mainly referring to my agents. Some of them I merely do not see stopping unless they are put down for good. If you do not want any dying,  then I can oblige and keep them alive. (I just realized the irony between how cheery my avatar is, alongside the morbidity of what I'm typing)

Rainbow Dash looked intently in Dennis' eyes--as if she expected to see anything unexpected there anyway. She didn't need to look to know that whatever came out of his mouth was the truth.

And so what was she going to do with it? Glancing around the meadow, she gestured vaguely with her arms, sweeping downward, indicating her own body. "Yah, so....you like what you see then?"

"Um...technically....I've never been employed." Another smile. "But I wasn't poor! I--that is, ponies paid me bits to take care of their pets every now and then, or to help them if they got sick, or if they needed me to speak to some animals...and the Mayor always gave me a few bits for helping out so very much with the winter Wrap-Up...and of course, Rarity would never let me go hungry if something bad happened to me or anything like that! She sighed, remembering the things she always missed about Ponyville. "If you think about, the only thing I could possibly be missing is--you."

Was that--coming on too strong? She snuck a peek at Colette's face. "How about you?"

I take it we're on the road/helicopter ride right now? Maybe to speed things up a bit, we could fast forward to Saturday's main race after the test and feels, where I'm planning on having a turning point for Jack.

If you allow me... i have something thought out for Queen Chrysalis when the time of the spell comes. If and when that time comes... i would like to do a little improv. Nobody is going to die of course... but a "rebirth" of sorts, no godmodding included. Sometime soon we'll have to talk about that Chrysalis-looking lady i showed you in the dreams.

Guys... may i ask something? Have you noticed the new "Equestria Empire" part in the roleplays? What is the purpose of it? I mean... why... i don't get it. Is it like for RPers that wonna be with canon characters only?

Slightly edited my answer. Just to make things clearer. Philosophical curveballs? What the... seriously with that last Dashie post i believe you got a little bit out of character. I mean.. i seriously don't want to insult Dashie or anything but... thinking that love is just friendship with benefits... that just not me. During the response i actually googgled to see what the true meaning of love is. Fu-fu-fu. You know that, I know that (or at least have a view on the proposition that's a little more sophisticated). Dashie has been romantically hobbled and dysfunctional since Post 1.

 

You don't have to insult Dashie. She doesn't know everything. You can say it.

First thing I thought when reading the post where Dash voiced her idea of what love is, was: "She's got a warped sense of things."

 

In my opinion, love is a verb. It's you actively do, more so than just something you feel. It's something you wake up every morning and decide to be. Love isn't just about what you get out of it. If love only has something to do with what you get out of it, you're doing it wrong. Love isn't just about the happy ending, as so many seem to believe. It's more about the awesome struggle to earn that happy ending.

Love isn't a word I throw around, or at least try not to, and do not like making my characters throw it around either. 

Are you best, or at least good friends?

Are you willing to be kind, when the make you mad?

Are you willing to take care of them, even when you get absolutely nothing out of it?

Are you willing to communicate with them openly, and honestly?

Are you capable of remaining loyal to them throughout?

Are you able to apologize to them when you mess up on one of the first five?

 

When, if at any point, you can say the answer to all those questions is 'yes', then congratulations. You are in love.

Love has nothing to do with those warm fuzzy feelings, because they are not grounded in reality. Just what you get out of it.

A lot of this, if not most of it, was inspired by a guy I watch on YouTube on occasion, and I found I agreed with his opinions enough to make them my own.

This is my opinion on the matter of love and what it is, and by extension, 95% of my many original character's view on things.

This and this are the two that spawned some of my opinions on the topic of love. His other stuff is pretty good as well.
I will give you a heads up however, the guy is a Christian, so a lot of his opinions are coming from that stand point. Keep that in mind if you watch some of his other stuff.

@@Hypn0ticD,@, Oh god i'm thinking about the things that are gonna happen when the ponies get back to their world... and the possible "suitors" that were too shy or just didn't make it start raging about this shit... in the case of Queen Chrysalis it might be particularly interesting... because as i might have said before... not all might like David for "stealing" their "rightfull position" as Kings of the changelings. In the others it might be just a huss-huss or a murmur of discontent but in QC's place... it might even cause civil war/split of the nation depending on the influence of others. In that case the possible conflicts between the fanctions might create some interest. 

On another note... i am having Queen Chrysalis go to Miami... yes to Miami from New York. I am thinking that because of the lack of magic in this world we're gonna need to be closer to a "focusing point" or a "point with weaker gravity" whatever nearer to the Equinox. You know... kind of like Bermuda triangle e.t.c. stuff.... does this sound okay? Otherwise i could just have her return... you know when the agents decide it's time to "act". 

Can you imagine Queen Chrysalis and the changelings shapeshifting into the president and demanding the release of the prisoners? On that note... i was thinking that changelings could "heal" surface wounds and superficial ones since they can shapeshift. Remember the series "Animorphs"? The guy would take a wounded eagle... and transform into an eagle without a wound... i was also thinking that they could shapeshift into smaller humans and in that way un-shackle themselves or in more muscular/agile ones and gain those traits.

I was actually planning on having two three man teams of agents, one hunting the larger group, but the other one breaking off to hunt down Chrysalis and David. This doesn't have to happen, but hey.

 

The Shapeshifting would certainly make things difficult for their captors.. Now wouldn't it?

You don't want to get on her bad side... nobody wants to get on her bad side. I am not trying to start a fight... i'm just saying that while Chrysalis may be a lot more "good" on the inside than most of you might think... but i think of her as extremely vengefull when it comes to protecting her own.
