Flame laughed. "Its gonna take allot more than this to burn me." He said. He took a deep breath and reached directly into the fire, pulling out a burning log.
The spot he was holding wasn't burning as much as the rest...but there were still hot coals and the fire was quite close to his hoof.

He held onto it for a few seconds before dropping it back into the fire.

Apollo's mouth hung open for a few moments as he watched Flame grab the burning wood.

"What? How can you? Let me see your hoof." Apollo said still wondering if what he saw was real.

This stallion is either part dragon or he has a magical barrier on his hoof.

Flame couldn't help but chuckle. "I can still get burnt...it just takes a little more than most ponies. It's my special talent...sorda." He said, holding out his hoof which looked fine apart from being a little dirty from the coal. "No harm done...its the same for my younger sister."

Apollo inspected Flame's hoof. As he examined Flame's hoof, he moved and rubbed it while nodding his head.

It seems this is an ordinary hoof of a stallion. He thought as he let go of Flame's hoof.

"Impressive to say the least. Can you still feel pain on that hoof of yours?"

Apollo smiled and looked over Flame once more.

"yeah i suppose everypony does. So you got a special somepony back home? or are you single?" He asked tying to engage in some more small talk. 

That question sounds a little bizarre if i think about it....dah well. He thought as he stared into the fire some more.

The evening soon turned into night as the group continued their business.

 

Apple Doom was leaning against his cart half falling asleep. He had a bottle next to him as he struggled to stay upright and not fall down. He began whistling a tune but stopped in between to clear his throat.

Heather had been reading her book for some time now 'Wow, time sure flies when you're reading' she thought to herself.  Heather Noticed it was getting dark, she went little closer to the fire so she could read but she ended up looking at the beautiful night sky instead.

Hunter was passed out, she was leaning on Chet's good shoulder. she hadnt been sleeping well but tonight was a big difference in her sleeping pattern. she was dreaming about Chet, she loved him with all her heart but maybe after last years events he doesnt show how much he loves her as much anymore

Freezing had popped her head out of the cart, feeling that it was pretty colder now... Still hot, but still cold enough for her to last for a few hours. She hopped out, and sat down on the ground, looking at the stars. The night sky was extremely pretty tonight.

Apple Doom looked back and noticed Freeze coming out of the cart. He quickly drank the contents of the bottle next to him and thought about trotting their way and saying hi. He quickly decided to talk to her from the comfort of the side of his cart.

"Hey, you're out of the cart. Is it cold enough for you out here?"

Chetnik soon fell victim to sleep. The fire, with its warmth, lulled Chetnik to sleep. He tried to fight it to stay awake for Hunter. In a few minutes his eyes started to shut and he decided not to fight it. He fell asleep, and just laid down on the ground, no time to get in his tent. He dreamed about all the things he would do when he woke up, especially with his draga.

Freezing looked over to see Apple Doom was getting her attention, and began talking to her. She slightly smiled, and looked back up to the sky.

 

"Kinda... Still a bit hot, but it's good enough for me to stay out here for a while... I would just get back in the cart later..."

Apple Doom nodded  at her statement.

"Yeah, wouldn't want you to get all cramped up back there. You gotta stretch those lovely hind legs out." He said with a smile on his face. The special drink he was drinking was starting to affect him.

Apollo watched the fire for a while as he looked next to him.

A mirage? a ghost? He thought as he rubbed his head with his hoof.

"Oh hello again Heather. Nice to see your pretty little face by the fire." He said as he cracked the joints in his neck.

"So i saw you reading a book. What was it about?"

Heather was reading her book then suddenly jumped a bit at the sound of somepony talking to her "H-huh? Oh, hello....Nice t-to see you, and thanks..." Heather shyly smiled and blushed a bit "My book? Oh Its just a romance story..." Heather said about the book she had been reading for some time now

"My name is Apollo. You're blushing face is very cute" He said with confidence. He was feeling a bit arrogant and disillusioned from before and felt like a grand gesture was needed to get his mind out of the gutters.He then kneeled down and kissed Heather on the forehead.

"It appears you are real."

"H-hi Apollo...i'm Heather...w-wait you know that...T-thank you.." Heather blushed more and looked away she wasn't used to ponies complimenting her like that. Heather was surprised when Apollo kissed her on the forehead. Heather was still blushing and had a surprised look on her face "R-real? W-ell...Y-yes i am..." Heather said not knowing really what to say

"Sorry if that was too forward but your face..." He stopped as he scooted closer to her.

"..Your face looked so kissable." Apollo was starting to feel his normal self and couldn't help but to admire the pony.

Sure i haven't known her for long but i'm starting to like her more and more. Time to get to know her. He thought

Hather was still shocked when she saw Apollo sit by her. She was about to say it was okay when she saw him scoot closer then herd what he said Heather's cheeks turned the reddest they could probably be "I-its alright...Um....t-thank you" Heather smiled shyly. Heather looked into his eyes she was starting to...like this pony, really like him

He hoped to get to know the mare a little more in a short amount of time. Apollo was patient but he didn't want her to slip through his hooves like stallion did.

Freezing looked up to Auron in a bit of a shocked state, mainly that she was shocked of his remark.

 

"Excuse me? What did you just say about my legs?", she calmly asked. It wasn't that she had not heard what he had said, more as "What the hell did he just say about my legs?"

"Oh! I like to listen to music and run and fly around." Apollo said as he relaxed a little.

"Though thats about all i can do in my freetime. Forgive me for looking but the marks on your body are unique. I find that appealing." Apollo said as he got a little more arrogant.

"A cramp... Uh huh... Apple Doom, are you drunk or something?", Freezing had bluntly asked, getting up and looking down at Apple Doom in a confused manner. Even though she said it wasn't very warm out here, a good chunk of her snowflakes in her mane had already gone away... She was walking back towards the cart.
