Does the unkindness in the world ever get you down?

It does get to me sometimes and leads to disillusionment with the world but it's important not to succumb to the negativity and abandon hope or kindness yourself, there are still good and kind people out there too.

Not really. I kind of just brush off any unkindness from random strangers, and go about my day as normal.

It can sometimes leave me between two extremes. One is a feeling of utter disappointment and pity. The other extreme is the need to smack the world over the head repeatedly with two cafeteria trays.

Nope, the unkindness of others doesn’t really get me down too much because I have no control over what other people choose to do. If I let every negative aspect of the world get to me I’d go crazy. All anyone can do is be the best they can be and not worry when weaker personalities try to inflict misery on others.
