TheMarkz0ne 962 May 2, 2013 Share May 2, 2013 My friend came up with the idea. I think it could work and Lauren Faust deserves to be on the show. She can be canonized as THE goddess of Equestria who controls the alicorns such as Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Twilight. I imagine Queen Lauren being omnipotent and omnipresent. You could have an episode about the mane 6 meeting Queen Lauren and the mane 6 asking her why does she allow the likes of Chrysalis, Discord and Sombra to reek havoc. I see potential in having Luaren Faust as a character in the show. It be funny to see Celestia be a bumbling idiot trying to impress Lauren and acting like a total fan girl
100 beasts kaidou 321 May 2, 2013 Share May 2, 2013 Or have her as the elements of harmony, but she was defeated and before his spirit dies she turns her spirit into the elements of harmony. her daughters take them as her husband builds tartarus and jails the pony who killed her in there Blueblood's only fan in the whole wide Fandom
King 5,626 May 2, 2013 Share May 2, 2013 A similar question to this was asked to Lauren at a panel once. Her answer was that she never actually wanted ANY other Alicorns other then Celestia and Luna and as such there would be no place for her OC amongst the Equestrians. 4 Goddamn right, you should be scared of me Twitter
Somebody 570 May 2, 2013 Share May 2, 2013 (edited) A totally omnipotent goddess controlling everything, yet for some reason allows villains to have their way with her domain? I'm afraid you would end up with obvious parallels to monotheistic religions like Christianity, and some implied opinions on the subject. That would inevitably lead to a whole lot of unhappy people on either side of that subject... Now that I think about it, it actually makes a lot of sense for there to only be a couple of "Princesses" running everything. Luna and Celestia are more akin to Greek goddesses, since they are neither omnipresent, nor all-powerful. They have their own personal disputes, which also means they're not perfect. Ultimately, this is far more politically correct than having some omnipotent "Queen" running everything, as everything becomes a bit more realistic and believable. After all, it wouldn't make any sense for there to be villains if the Queen could just wave her magic wand and make them go away... TheMarkz0ne 962 May 2, 2013 Author Share May 2, 2013 Celestia was omnipotent for the first two episodes. But I'm glad they made her have limits, as clear as day when she lost to Chrysalis.

Harmonic Revelations 8,837 May 2, 2013 Share May 2, 2013 Lauren herself doesn't want her OC in the show, why would the writers want her OC in it? It would not even begin to make sense. OP at this point it feels like you have a book of mad libs you are using to come up with these threads.
TheMarkz0ne 962 May 2, 2013 Author Share May 2, 2013 MMM. Well I'm kinda reaching the bottom of the barrel for thread ideas. Other than that I can't wait to show you my top ten MLP songs video in the master thread

Plus, Lauren has too much artistic integrity to plunk down an OC of herself into the show. The fans would hate it and it wouldn't sell. I think MZ has yet to come up with ONE good idea in all these threads. They're all bad. I have to admire his consistency though. "Human beings fascinate me Being just the way they are..." Kyoshi Frost Wolf 42,202 May 2, 2013 Share May 2, 2013 I think she should be in the show as a literal god, with the power of creation, like the deities of human mythology. (Well, some of them) That would be interesting. Then she wipes all the ponies out in a massive flood. Hmm, on second thought, bad idea. Gods are always very sensitive. Don't want to risk it. Orablanco Account 3,708 May 2, 2013 Share May 2, 2013 Terrible idea. The presence of anything even slightly religious upsets many people and having one god rule over everything goes against the show's themes and messages. All this would be is panda tossing. except that Lauren doesnt even work on the show anymore so whatever she says is not 100% canon. she already said on twitter she dint want to say her plans for twilight as she dint want to interrupt the writers Well, yeah, but if she doesn't want to do it, then they can't very well use her alicorn likeness against her wishes or force her into a recording booth for the voice. She may not be directly involved at this point, but doing something like this when she'd rather not would be disrespectful. 1 Onwards to my DeviantArt page! Sig by the illustrious Kyoshi! WingMcCallister 368 May 2, 2013 Share May 2, 2013 Meh, I'm not a fan of having a Lauren character in the show. It's somewhat humorous in fan-made stuff, but I think it would cause a lot of issues in terms of MLP itself. 1 Original Characters? Guess I truly am addicted now... Wick I write and do physics too.
