I said HOLD a moment, dummkopf! Sheesh!" Turning back to the madpony, Red sighed. "Holy, do you not give up? I mean, good can-do attitude, but I sink I outrank you."

Swordpoint approached Cosmo. "I'd prefer to keep that to myself. I have a surprise for my new friends should I find victory."

 

Rainbow bolted toward Swordpoint, knocking him down. "You won! That was great!" She quickly shook off her smile. "But you gotta stop! Throw the next match or something! There's some nasty characters here, and I don't want you having to fight them!"

 

Swordpoint chuckled as he rose to his hooves. "Come, now. Do you remember Frostbite? What about Speartail?"

 

At the mention of Frostbite, Rainbow shuddered. "Yeah... more than I want to."

 

Swordpoint smiled and placed a hoof on her shoulder. "If I could defeat Frostbite with those wounds, I can certainly defeat any opponent in this tournament. Have faith, Rainbow."

Crimson tossed and turned in his sleep, "violet....run....father.....please.....don't.....WAIT....DONT DO IT....NNNOOOOOO!!" Yelled crimson, waking up from his nightmare in a coldsweat, panting heavily, "damn it.....how long will that memory haunt me? I'm sorry.....violet.....I wasn't able to win.....maybe I can bring you back anoather way....but if I can't.....then at least I can kill our bastard of a father..." said crimson quitely.

 

"Hehehehehe......so.....your still trying to bring back my worhless, weak, pathetic excuse of a daughter? How sad.....she's not even worth the grime under my hoovs, much less the use of a wish.....and do you really think you can kill me? Quit dreaming! I'm a god, your nothing but a theiving greedy, pyrokinetic, ant, waiting to be crushed under my power!" Umbras scarlet eyes glowed faintly in the darkness of the shadows at the corner of the room, as did his large, white, evil smile.

 

Crimson shivered, not in fright, but in disgust, "I knew I felt your foul presence here, the moment I entered the tournament, and I know you've been watching, and just waiting to watch me die....but sorry to dissapoint you.....FATHER....but I'm not dying, not until I either bring violet back.....or kill you.....and if I'm lucky, I'll do both!" Said crimson angrily as he looked at his father with a look of utter loathing.

 

Umbra merely laughed evilly, "just as amusing as ever I see.....SON.....but you know you will never kill me....or bring her back....you would need an army just to reach my island and survive my forces! Face it, your destined to fail!" Said umbra darkly, before chuckling evilly.

 

Crimson faltered for a moment, but then grinned mischeviously, "your right.....I can't kill you.....not without a help.....so I'm gonna gather together a crew, and I'm gonna find your damn island and were all gonna kick your flank! So mock me all you want, but just know that after this tournament is over, i-will-kill-you!" Said crimson bravely, before running out of the infermery in seach of swordpoint, leaving umbra to loath his son in silence.

 

((Just so noone thinks crimson is being an idiot by not killing his father then and there, its becouse 1. Umbra void may not be an alicorn, but using dark magic, umbra is on par with celestia. 2. He only projected himself at the tournament using dark magic, so he's in an etheral form.))

Cosmo gave Swordpoint a calm stare, considering his words, "If you have a good reason for being here... then I'll give you the match. As I told your marefriend, I came here to advance my own abilities and I feel like I've done that effectively. You won't tell me what your plans are, but your eyes are those of a pony whose done dark things and seeks redemption. I have no goals in this tournament, so I won't stand in the way of yours. I only ask that when you face Standoff, kill him. He is a pony who does dark deeds for his own benifit and must be punished."

As Cosmo finished, Crimson was just arriving to the spot where they were. Cosmo gave him a look and jokingly asked, "Sweet Luna, how long have we been here?"

(OOC: Cosmo will watch the fights and interact with the contestants, particularly Crimson, but I'm interested in Swordpoint's plans now. Much like Cosmo's change of heart, I'm willing to watch you continue from here @

Cosmo smirked, "Actually, I'm going to let him win. I think he has a better reason to win than I do. However," Cosmo said, with an aggressive smile, "I'm still going to fight. I won't pass up the opurtunity to face you and learn what I can, and I think the committee will be suspicious if I don't even face you, so we'll have to give the audience a show, I'll just make an exit when I see a good chance to do so."

Cosmo's smirk died as the rest of Crimson's words sank in, "Wait what was that about your father?!"

(OoC: Gotcha. I was kinda disappointed, because I was hoping to have Swordpoint face Cosmo in non-lethal combat, so I'm glad to hear that we'll still have something of a fight.)

 

 Swordpoint turned to face Crimson. "Your father? He is here?" His eyes narrowed. "Lead me to him. I will stand by your side, brother."

 

Rainbow grabbed Swordpoint's head and turned it to her. "Why are you always fighting?! Why can't you just let stuff go?!"

 

Swordpoint kissed Rainbow lightly on the cheek. "I am sorry, but battle is in my blood. And what's more, if I can save lives with my sweat and blood, then I shall. I refuse to allow senseless evil to wander the earth unpunished."

 

Rainbow threw her forehooves around him and sighed. "...you better still be in one piece after this tournament, because if I have to chase you down in the nexus again... I'll probably just end up joining you."

Crimson smiled, "sorry swordpoint, but you just missed him, besides, even if we did find him again the only thing we would be fighting is a shadow, that bastard may be powerful, but he's not stupid, hes spying on the tournament using dark magic, he knows I want him dead, and he also knows that I have feinds who would help me kick his flank, so let's just keep our eyes on him for now, we can chase him down to his island after the tournament is over......but its gonna be a death defying journy, through murderers, monsters,and hordes of my fathers demonic army......if you guys are brave enough....or crazy enough to join me on that voyage that is..." asked crimson smiling hopefully to both swordpoint, and cosmo.

"Cosmo Shadesteel and Swordpoint have become problems." One of the tournament committee members, a deep throated minotaur, said, "We cannot allow them to face each other in the semi finals. No matter how much we intervene, we would have to allow one of them to proceed."

 

"This is an easy fix, boys." Big Shot said. He typed a few things into his terminal and the digital roster in their private office changed.

((I understood what you meant.  Anyway, I'm going to drop out.  I honestly don't have time and if this keeps going, this fight is going to take forever and I won't be on for about two weeks  after the 21st. Since we both can only get about a post on a day, I can't do it.  I hope you understand))

 

Midnight felt funny.  She smelled something like chemicals.  "Really?  You call this fighting?  All you're doing is-" Midnight Glow collasped.  She started shaking violently and her neon aqua eyes no longer had a sparkle to them.  All she saw before she lost consciousness is her parents looking at her from the crowd.

"Nine and ten!" Juri finished her count down at the exact moment that Imajin hit the ground. "And the winner by glorious knockout is Radioactive tragedy!"

 

"Alright fans, that was the last match up of round two!" Topaz announced. "The Semi Finals will begin on the day after tomorrow. Don't be late!"

 

 

 

"I'll make the necessary arrangements to ensure that Swordpoint does not advance past the semi finals." Said Shale, a personal friend of Big Shot. "If all goes as planned, he will be eliminated alongside Cosmo. Neither will advance."

Radioactive looked at her opponent, I still have ten minutes to recesitate her. She seems to have been effected more extremely than expected. She levitates Midnight next to her, and walks back inside. She hurries to the hospital wing, thinking, 5 minutes or less. I need to isolate and extract the compound from her lungs and bloodstream. Her horn glowed as her helmet enhanced her vision as she began to operate. When she reached her limit, she sat back. She had had limited success, though the ammount of compound still inside Midnight was unknown. She took her helmet of and shook her mane out of the braid she used to keep her hair in the protective shell and waited to see if Midnight woke up.

@, Standoff looked around the stands, and saw Swordpoint talking to... Red, tell me it's not. It is... Bloody fuck. Okay, act like you belong... I will. Don't talk to yourself.

Standoff walked over to the three ponies, who seemed to be deep in thought. "Man oh man. You know, they really need to beef up security around here. There was this crazy-ass pony, wanted to be in the tournament instead of me..."

Swordpoint glanced at Standoff. ”Perhaps they should.” His eyes wandered to Standoff's pistol, and he approached the black pony. ”If you kill Cosmo, your fate will be sealed,” he warned before walking away. I will not lose. They cannot impede me, no matter what they think.

Crimson glared at standoff, "so.....your that psycopathic murderous, piece of shit I've been hearing so much about....can't say I'm impressed.....tell me, what compelled you to kill lite so brutally? Greed? Revenge? Or.....do you simply just enjoy the rush of killing an unarmed opponent? Whatever the reason, your lucky your not fighting me next round......but.....as much as I would like to kill you myself, I can't.....I'll let cosmo have the honor of doing that..." said crimson darkly.

She looked over the unicorn in the bed and sighed. This task is best suited for nurses. This is not work I'm qualified for. She walked out of the room, clicking the 'call' button on the bed's remote. She looked around and saw some ponies insulting eachother. She walked up to them cautiously. "Is there a problem here?"

(OOC: That was a discussion in a meeting or something. We don't know about their reasons yet, but I'll pretend they announced it.)

Cosmo's eyes widen with excitement. "Standoff?! My next match is with Standoff?!" Cosmo looked at Swordpoint and said, "Now, I'll have no regrets leaving this tournament. Make sure you beat her man, I get the feeling the committee will be either very happy or very upset to see us both in the finals. Well, if you'll excuse me, I need to make some preparations."

Midnight's eyes were opening very slowly.  Her vision was blurry.  She saw what looked like Radio with her helmet off.  Her body felt numb and could not move.  What made me collapse  like that?  Was it that cement?  Doesn't matter.  I'm out now.  At least I'm still alive.   She knows Radio will be a tough competitor for the ones ahead.

(OOC: I thought it was odd that he was being nice to a competitor and then calling him a threat that needed to be removed. Btw, what did Cosmo do to make them upset? His conversation with Swordpoint?)

Cosmo had little else to do so he looked for awhile and finally found a young mare named Cinder Slash, one of the ponies supporting him. "Good evening Cinder." She didn't know he was there so she was surprised to see him, "Cos.. um.. Shadesteel!" she stuttered, unsure how to address him, "What brings you here?" Cosmo smirked and told her, "You can call me Cosmo, but I need some help. You mention earlier you do freelance work right?" She seemed a bit disappointed but she nodded, "I'm worried about my friend Swordpoint, or really his marefriend. I'm hoping you could keep an eye out for her, just make sure thugs like the ones from earlier don't bother her and stuff like that." Cinder considered for a moment and agreed, "Okay but my services aren't free." Cosmo nodded but as he reached for his wallet, Cinder quickly kissed him on the lips. He looked up and she was smiling with a flirty look in her eye, "Anyone else you need me to look after?" Cosmo returned her expression and simply said, "I'll try to think of someone later," and with that he returned to his room for the night.

(OOC: Swordpoint has Rainbow Dash, Crimson has his Dad, Bad Dreams had her team, Goldre had her other form, Standoff has Red, I wanted a non-contestant for Cosmo to interact with! }:[ lol)
