Standoff knew what to do. He hoofed it down the stairs, knocking over as many ponies as possible on the way down (a lot), and got into the ring. Not acknowledging Swordpoint, he located the ref and promptly punched her in the head, breaking the spell. Acting fast, he got out of the ring before the stunned mare got up.

"Huh?" The ref asked. "What happened? Where's Rune breaker?"

 

Topaz leaned over her announcer's box and searched the crowd. "He vanished?"

 

(From now on, I don't want any of you to change the plot to anything other than the tournament. AKA No no more dragon possessions.)

 

 

 

Cosmo sighed with relief. He lifted her with telekinesis out the ring and waited for her countdown. He half expected her to mimic his "surrender" when she tunneled up under him but she was sincere. With telepathy, Cosmo told her, "Thank you. I was worried one of us would end up dead from this. I know a specialist who can ensure none of your injuries affect your performance with your team, if you think you'll need it. I enjoyed this match Dreams, you're craftier than I anticipated." With that and a smirk, Cosmo waited for the ref, dogding trash the enraged audience threw at him. "Dreams was the only one I'll spare," Cosmo decides, "Everyone else will die."

 

 

"And the winner by an unfortunate dropout is Cosmo!" The ref announced.

 

The energy required for transorming between Terror Night and Golden Dreams finally caught up to Goldre. It gripped her like a steel vise and drained every last bit of energy she had stored. She collapsed, heartbeat fading.

"Start the countdown, ref!" somepony in the audience. "She's down!"

Satisfied with the cloud's destruction; Silver Storm landed back onto the ring breathing heavily. His wings were still snapped together and he was really exhausted from using so many hurricane hoofs. His legs wobbled as he took in several short breathes.

 

From there he saw Goldre returning to the ring as well. Hearing her apologize for her alter-ego made him smile."Heh.....Apology  accepted......" Silver Storm said as he closed his eyes and lowered his head. He remained motion less as he slipped into unconsciousness while still standing up.

 

((Sorry to end it like this ,but I'm ready for our match to end. And yeah Silver Storm can be unconscious while standing up, he's that badass.))

"Okay, I'll start the Ten count!" The ref announced. "One! ...TWO!"

 

"Unbelievable, Silverstorm seems to have fallen unconscious while still standing!" Topaz said.

(Sorry! I thought I cleared with you that Knightfall was okay to be a part of this when I asked if my OC was ok, he's not a change in plot, he was always in Rune Breaker and his possession is just a part of the character (I kinda based him off when Nightmare and Siegfried were in the same body in the soul caliber games). He is just a dangerous threat, he won't kill anyone out of context or change the plot, I promise he isn't a crazy killer only absolutely brutal. At least he will kill ponies during the tournament and not hold back to let others live and I mean he is part of the tournament plot cause the fact that Rune gets possessed is the reason he want the wish).

There was a green flicker and the flames burst into existence, from it's smoke Knightfall strolled, he was humming cheerfully. On his back was a filth ridden, bloodstained saddlebag and floating next to him was a strange whip, it's hilt wrapped in magic the same color as his horn's. The whip was the purest black and the air around it seemed to be dimmer as if surrounded in shadow.

 

"Huh? Hmmm how did you break my ssspell? No matter I found the toy I wanted, I must say after my demise all my petsss were left alone to die ssslow in the dark...Wonderfully ironic isn't it? Most ssswore they would escape and kill me or prayed for death but when I died they must have prayed I'd comeback ssso they might continue to live. Only my guard dog was ssstill alive, he made good and sssure everything stayed how I left it." The whip swayed back and forth, "Are you ready to beg for death now or are you going to promissse to kill me?"

Marches into the tournament and watches the combatants while handing Topaz Princess Luna's letter. Looking at how inexperienced the combatants are he snickers, then analyzes his opponents for any weaknesses for flaws in their form for an instant kill.

A cloud floated aimlessly in front of the sun. Goldre switched to Terrorite even while unconscious. The lack of energy began to consume Goldre and took the form of a flame. Terrorite burned.

"ONE!" the ref called. "TWO!"

Silver Storm remained motionless as he was still unconscious. Even though he was still standing the weakest blow of wind would send him tumbling to the ground. Silver Storm didn't even know Terrorite had once again returned and once she was upon him it would be all over for him. He was essentially a sitting duck waiting to be killed by its prey.

the cloud rolled out of the way and Goldre returned. The sun soaked into her skin, quenching the fire and filling her once again with energy. Another cloud and she was Terrorite. She scrambled to her feet, noticing the vulnerable pony.

"I will spare you...mostly.....for Goldre's sake," she said as she swiped two quick scratches deep enough to leave scars on either cheek and one over his left side cutie mark.

"Three!" yelled the ref

Silver Storm didn't feel anything as Terrorite cut him, making scars on his face and his cutie mark. Small droplets of blood trickled down his body before hitting the ground making a small pool of blood.All the while he didn't make a sound.

 

"KILL HIM!!" One of the audience members shouted.

 

"YEAH! DICE HIM UP!" Another encouraged.

 

"LET'S SEE WHAT HIS INSIDES LOOK LIKE!" A psychotic audience member shouted.

 

The ref continued the everlasting count as a cloud hung over the stadium. Silver Storm was helpless and there was nothing he could do to stop Terrorite from causing further injury.

"Silence! You foals, do you know not that it is completely unsportsmanlike to kill an opponent while they are unconscious? These scars and this blood should satisfy your enthusiasm!" Terrorite howled.

 

"Eight...Nine...Ten!" the ref yelled. "Silver's out! The winner is Goldre, er, Terrorite!"

The cloud moved.

"Medic! We need a medic!" Goldre yelled.

@ragestar Artemis didn't know what to do. Then, suddenly she had a idea. She used her unicorn powers to tug the whip as hard as she could away from Crimson. "I really really hope this works!!!" She thought. She also sent more arrows with her unicorn powers to hit Crimson.

Crimson grinned triumphantly, "gotch!!" Said crimson, as he let the whip fly out of his hands and towards his opponent, but unknown to artemis, crimson had anticipated a move like this and used his powers to condense a ball of fire at the end of the whip, and set it to explode on impact. Crimson grinned widely, "this may sting a little..." thought crimson, as he watched the end of the whip heading straight for artemis with anticipation.

Swordpoint swung his lance. "You cannot face me with your bare hooves? Shameful." He dove toward Knightfall, charging a spell as he did. As he drew closer, he released it, sending a bolt of lightning toward Knightfall. He extended his lance as he dove, preparing to drive it through Knightfall's hide.

The whip shot forward with a crack wrapping a round Swordpoints lance and jerking it harmlessly to the side.  The dark whip sizzled on the surface of the bright magic lance beginning to eat into it like an acid. "I've never had hoofs before and I've certainly never fought fair."  Shifting his magic quickly he pulled the lash taunt, intending to clothesline Swordpoint.  Knightfall charged forward taking the bolt full on.  He actually screamed out in a pained rage as it charred the left side of his body and he struck out at Swordpoints chest with a clawed hoof.

He thought for a moment before levitating it into the air and surrounding it with a golden glow. He then made the lance disappear. "If you will use such a vile weapon, then you will face my magic."

 

He lit his wings, and the ground beneath Knightfall quickly turned blue and began to spray large chunks of ice.

"Alright fans, that's six down and nine to go! It looks like Silver Storm is down by knock out and Goldre is moving to round two! We just have two more preliminary matches left!" Topaz said.

Knightfall's legs started to become coated in ice but he did not move.  Instead the whip magical manuevered through the air and with a crack wrapped around one of Swordpoints forehooves it gripped him tight as if it was alive.  The darkness of it spread across him, and he felt cold and as if his magic was slipping beyond his reach.  It tugged downwards, pulling him lower.  At a point Knightfall suddenly lurched upward on to his backhooves, shattering the ice around his legs his front clawed hoof grabbed the whips handle yanking it back down to slam Swordpoint into the ground.  Knightfall let out an angry roar.

 

 

(To the four of you still fighting, I'm going camping on Wednesday (again) and I'll be back on Saturday. If I'm not online, you are free to play as the refs, (but not Topaz or Rail) I hope for the preliminaries to be done ASAP.)

(If you haven't noticed nobody replied to you, I'd like to apologize for that, it's rude.  But so was coming in here and thinking you could just force your way into a tournament RP that has set combatants and has already started, ESPECIALLY when the final fight of the first round of set brackets has already started.  So you should already know that the tournament is filled and all OC characters are active.

 

Next time pleasemake the effort to read through the thread to figure out if your joining is approriate.  Then message the GM or post to the OOC broad for the RP asking about possibly joining.  I don't want to be harsh on you.  It's just how it's supposed to be and you'll be much better accepted and your OC better recieved that way.  I hope you find some fun RP's to join.  I'm going to be starting my own soon keep an eye out for it.)

(Yeah, there is a night break between rounds as required by tournament rules. All the remaining contestants are staying in a fancy hotel near the stadium, where you will sleep after the rounds are over. I was hoping for Topaz to make a final announcement before you left the arena, but meh...)

"Now things are finally getting brutal!" Topaz projected. "Swordpoint and Rune Breaker are in an intense melee, and this can only end with a few broken bones!"

 

"I don't think I have the attention span to watch this kind of a fight," Rail said bored. He was sitting in the stadium arena among all the common fans.

 

"Rail, there you are!" Another well dressed pony said as he approached Rail. He was clearly past his prime, a wrinkled old stallion in a sick purple suit. "Just the pony I've been looking to see! What are you doing here with all these uncivilized creatures? You know you have box seats!"

 

"I enjoy it more with the fans." Rail said. "They don't pretend to know what will happen, it makes the fights more enjoyable."

 

"Heh, remind me to quote you on that when I'm rolling in green."

Goldre helped the medics load Silver onto the carrier. She then wandered back to the waiting room in despair. She hadn't expected to win, so this was all a big shock to her. She found her duffel bag and tucked herself into an uncomfortable corner. She cooled off with a bottle of water and pulled out a sheet of stationary. She began to write.

((Terrorite has input, too! Goldre's letter is first and then Terrorite's))

Dear Silver,

Thank you for fighting fairly with me. I apologize for not informing you of my Dark Side, Terrorite. She's really not all that bad. She was mostly under the pressure of a large crowd and got a bit of what I call a Power Hangover. I'll explain later. I hope you get better soon!

Silver Storm slowly awoke as he finally lifted his eyes. "Ugh....What where am I?" He moaned he said moving around wondering where he was; accidently falling out of his carrier. Acting like none of that happened he quickly surveyed his surroundings figuring out he was is the medical room. A medic was looking at him picking himself up.

 

"I lost didn't I?" He asked. The medic nodded. "Aw man!  I used up so much of my energy using all those hurricane hoofs; I didn't even had enough to stay conscious anymore.." Silver mumbled angrily at his lost. It was the first was the first round and he had already been eliminated by a mare none the less.

 

"Oh well.....there's always next time." Silver shrugged. "Winning wasn't everything anyway."

 

Though he wondered why Goldre......er Terrorite  didn't kill him. He could've sworn he could of heard her voice at some point. He didn't dwell on it for too long as he found a sheet ((That I presume you left by him to read after he woke up))

 

After reading it Silver simply smiled. "Heh......I guess Terrorite  isn't as bad as I thought." He reconsidered his thoughts about Goldre's alter-ego. Even though he had scars he didn't really care. In fact he kind of liked the scars because; in his eyes it made him look cooler.

 

"Guess I'll just watch how the rest of the tournament moves on." Silver murmured walking out of the medic room and back into the waiting room as the last matches of the first round were wrapping up. There in the waiting room he saw Goldre again.

 

"Hey! Thanks for not killing me." Silver Storm said to her.

If I may. I think this kind of thing would give contestants at least a day to recover from injuries. After all, the audience wants blood, if the ponies are too injured to fight each other, the crowd would be disappointed and upset. If we get to decide without Topaz, I vote for a nights rest. I just wanted to add my voice to this discussion, I hope you don't mind.

Silver couldn't help but blush a little as Goldre hugged him. His shade of red vanished as she broke off maybe feeling just as awkward. Before he could respond to her question Terrorite had returned in her place.

 

A initial shock of fear quickly overcame Silver but he remembered her letter in addition to her alter-ago. She looked intimidating but maybe she wasn't as bad as one would think.

 

"Oh, Hi Terrorite." Silver Storm said feeling awkward talking to the mare. "I uh... Read the letter you and your 'other self' left me." He said blushing again for some unknown reason.

 

"You were awesome on the ring and I wouldn't mind fighting you again someday as you know..... friends."
