Need some ideas for another fan fic

Ok after spending about two weeks working on my first published story (which can be found here http://www.fimfiction.net/story/98237/waking-up-in-equestria) I'm ready to begin writing another story, only problem is i have no real stories in mind (I mean i do have bits and pieces but no where near enough to make a full story from) So now is your chance to post your ideas or suggestions and i will pick the ones i like and start writing. Of coarse i will give you full credit for the story idea so it doesn't feel like im stealing anything from you guys.

if i made a conversion bureau fic it would probably become twisted in some way that nobody would want to read it but if this is the only suggestion i guess I'll have to do it.

Idk, I'm not the best at on the spot coming up with ideas, but my suggestion would to think some or even go about regularly for a bit and whenever an idea strikes you mind write it down somewhere, then you can choose one or multiple ones and create a story like that!

 

Thats just what I'd do, and someone else also recommended to do that aswell to me, and it seems to work pretty well, so I recommend you try it.

not really i just feel like writing something interesting people would like to read.

 

@Zygen i guess i could do that and then after i get my ideas written down i could combine them to form some kind of story

I can't really help you with the story ideas as I'm using them myself lol. But I can at least try and help with the creative block plus I don't know what kind of writing style you're going for, no sense me giving you slice of life if your going for gore fic etc.

 

I often find that writing down the ideas helps evolve them, sometimes it can add something that felt missing. I'd also recommend reading or looking at material that you normally don't, changing circumstances help the creative juices flow.

I have some nice ideas, but I won't share it to other people to write. I mean, why don't I just write it myself? Giving my idea to other people limits me to write my own, and imagine if my idea is written poorly by other people, then I want to write it with my own style. My work will look like a plagiarism, even though the first writer declares that it's my story idea.

 

Just like @Fridge said, better use our own idea, especially if you think your idea is amazing.

 

I think asking to write somepony's idea is a bad idea, and kinda taboo. Half of being a writer is to imagine a story (in other word, being creative) and the other half is to write it.

 

You still can ask suggestion about your own idea, like "Do you think it's a good idea to make my character travel to bla bla bla?" or something similar.

thanks for the impute Fridge and Sky Warden what i meant by ideas was just something different like "What if this character had this happen" or something similar that would get my imagination flowing I have thought about what i should write and i have decided i am going to work on a Doctor Whooves version of my story 'Waking Up in Equestria' because it would let me explain why the characters acted the way they did and why certain stuff happend.

Yeah. I said that because your first post seems like you're asking for a story idea to write.

 

As for the "What if" thingy, you can ask people to help you with that. Still, forging the story by yourself makes you creative, which is, just like what I said, a half of being a writer.

You may want to try your hand/hoof at a crossover fic; I myself am currently reading one starring Albert-freaking-Wesker, and it's got some excellent dark humor.

 

I'm also rough-drafting one starring Yuri Lowell from Tales Of Vesperia.
