Charles seeing Rarity shriek, as she was covering her ears since he found out these Race cars noise were too sisnteive to her ears while he thinking someway for her to enjoy it and then he got a ideal. As he pulling out two special ear plugs that can block out the noise but still can hear others talking and not the race car noise. "Here Diamond my sweet, these ear plugs can block out the Race car noise if they hurt your ears, also you still can hear us talking and other things playing expect the Race cars sounds. If you want them or if the noise bother you just tell me."

Logan shrugs slightly, having absolutely no idea why she meant by Appleloosa, though he could guess it was a town, "I suppose so."

 

When Applejack asked what Ulysses did with him, Logan kneels beside the dog, rubbing his side, "On duty, he chases down and helps subdue lawbreakers, or sniffs out various illegal substances and objects. Or missing people."

He smiles, "Off duty, he's just like any other dog. A good companion for just about anything."

 

Ulysses just basked in the attention he was receiving.

 

 

Bowen glanced over in Johnny's direction, making a bit of a face, but shaking his head, he called back, "Just giving her a ride!"

When the anthem began, Logan stood, placing a hand over his heart, singing along quietly to himself.

 

When the engines started, he winced a little, but other than that he was fine. He chuckled at Twilight, shouting back, "Acclimation! You get used to it!"

Diliges followed along beside her, if a few steps behind, mainly because he was concentrating on leeching off of multiple emotions at once, "It is rather nice around here. Though it seems a little less.. Cheery, than the villages back home."

"Riiiiiight!" Johnny called incredulously. "Where are you two love-birds going anyway?"

"That's really the first priority of a good dog, ain't it?" she said with a smile, continuing to pet the dog. Suddenly the loud noises from the track boomed in front of them and Applejack covered the poor dog's ears.

"I got it, but thank you!" Colette said as she picked up her bike, loading into the trunk. She was the type of girl who liked to do things on her own if she could, not that she didn't appreciate the gesture!

As she did so, she heard Johnny call out to them.

"Hey, Bow. Gonna go watch ponies together?"

“We're not together! Bowen's only giving me a ride!” Colette huffed as she closed the trunk. Seriously, why do people always assume that?? Wait-- did Johnny say Ponies?? “You a Brony, Bowen??” she asked as she made her way to the passenger side.

Shawn jumped a little as a blur appeared out of nowhere, jumping up into Fluttershy's arms. Ugh, another cat! Shawn was all too quick to pick up on the hint, however! "Too true! Well~ if Fluttershy were here, I'd let 'er know she can come on by my place and see if we can find any other Ponies-- That is, if she wanted to!" He joked.

“We're not together! Bowen's only giving me a ride!” Colette huffed as she closed the trunk. Seriously, why do people always assume that?? Wait-- did Johnny say Ponies?? “You a Brony, Bowen??” she asked as she made her way to the passenger side.

"I know, I know, Colette. Calm down. I was just making a little joke is all," he said apologetically. "What the hell's a brony?" he asked after hearing Collete's question. He backed up, leaning on his own car, the keys in one hand and the other hand held his guitar case upright.

Well, this was happening. In the course of one day, four people had discovered his being a Brony.

 

Bowen nods, holding up his keys, showing the two keychains to the girls, "Yes, I am," he says to Colette, before turning to Chloe, "These 'ponies' refer to the show 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic'. Which I just so happen to be a fan of."

 

He turns so he can face all three of them, "'Brony', is the term that was adopted by the unexpected fans of the show. These fans being straight males such as myself - though not all of us are straight, but hey. The show was originally marketed towards younger girls - though older girls have gotten into the show as well, and sometimes call them selves bronies as well - but somehow guys older than the intended demographic ended up watching it, and discovering that it was actually a quality show. The animation, voice acting, music, characters, writing. All of it, proved to be really good."

 

Bowen clears his throat, realizing that he had just gone off on a small speech, "The show also teaches worthwhile lessons, plus just helps to add color to the often times dreary experience we know as 'life'."

 

He looks from one to the other, "So, yeah. I think the reason they keep being brought up is the fact that there are a lot of stories and such going around the Internet of people finding these ponies, only human versions of them. Specifically, the main six characters of the show, and even a Changeling. If needed I can go off on another tangent that proves my nerdiness explaining what that is."

 

Bowen gestures to the area around them, "One of the characters supposedly ended up here, in Racine."

 

If this didn't make Bowen sound crazy, or fanatical, he didn't know what did.

When Applejack covered Ulysses' ears, the Shepard turned his head slightly to look at her, not fully understanding why she was doing it. He simply took it as more affection the humans always tended to show dogs, which he was a-okay with. The dog tries to lick her face, but falls short. Before he can continue to try, Logan taps his rib, effectively telling him to stop.

It wasn't uncommon for Logan to let Ulysses give kisses, but those were usually only to people he'd known for a while, such as Angie or Samuel, or Logan himself and his family. Logan's reasoning for stopping the police dog was merely his not knowing whether Applejack would appreciate the dog's gesture or not.

"I think your description of the show itself proved your neediness enough. No problem with that though." Chloe thought for a moment, then thought out loud. "You know, if you consider the multiverse theory, it's not all that strange." She then realised she was thinking aloud and looked around. "Uhh, I mean, that, uhh, totally sounds crazy. Like cartoon characters becoming real? Pff! That's crazy..."

@@Hypn0ticD,  Due to unpleasant nagging from his father Dennis never liked math too much. It was even worse when the college he chose included in a major part using math. He didn't have a problem with them... he just had a problem with studying. The exam was kind of hard but in due time he understood what was demanded. The "overseers" as he called them urged him to write during the first half hour. But it was a habbit of his to spend at least that much thinking of the solution and the problem. It was all a planned. He took a deep breath and started writting... his "pointing" finger hurt for quite some time but he didn't have the luxury to rest it. He reguraly checked his nose for bleeding but it had long stoppped yet it didn't stop the mild pain he felt every now and then. After the hand burn, the fall with the head, the "almost" torn knee and that big scar he had for doing something stupid he didn't worry anymore.

 

"You have 10 minutes." he heard someone saying. Most of what he knew he had already written it. He knew that in those 10 minutes he didn't have time to write anything more, not that there were any more questions to be answered, so he polished a little what he had written so it would be read-able and gave his paper. 

 

When he got out he stood with the back on the wall next to the door and sighed in relief. He took out his Mp3, carefully this time not to slip, and remembered those kids playing music back when had hit his nose. He knew somewhat of piano so he decided it would be cool to give his skills on that.

Johnny raised an eyebrow. "Pegasister?"

 

He ignored the comment about the multiverse theory, not really caring about that kind of crazy stuff.

 

Meanwhile, Applejack hugged Ulysses before getting up and turning to watch the race unfold before them.

Catherine pulled up a chair, put in some earplugs, and watched her boyfriend as he raced across the track. NASCAR still wasn't as interesting as the European races, with all the repetition and lack of right turns, but it was alright

He opens the driver side door, leaning in and turning the keys in the ignition to start the vehicle. He nods at Colette, "Sure, that should be alright. Though now I'm kind of looking forward to meeting her, if she is a pegasister," after saying this, he turns his attention to Johnny, explaining, "Pegasister is the other term for female bronies."

 

And once more, Bowen turns his attention to Chloe, chuckling, "Nothing wrong with being nerdy. But I don't see why you can't. Will you be driving separate, or tagging along in mine?"

Logan continues watching the race. NASCAR was definitely something you have to watch in person for the full effect. TV didn't really cut it.

Jack pulled out with the rest of the field onto the track, eager to begin yet another day at the office.

"Everything's rolling good in front of you, man," Ray keyed in as the green flag flew. "Green flag! Good luck and be careful out there, man!!!"

"Err...." Fluttershy did not feel much encouraged. After the incident involving the cupcakes and the dress from last year, Rarity had made very clear in her advice that going into a strange pony's home on a whim was not a good idea.

But she was curious. It was important to make sure her friends were okay. Maybe just this once?

No, that wouldn't be good. Fluttershy held Jonathon tighter and tried to keep a neutral. "M-maybe you could just b..uhm..bring them here?" she squeaked.
