"EEP!" Fluttershy recoiled instantly, slamming the door to the apartment complex shut in Shawn's face and fleeing headlong up the stairs, forgetting to even try to take the elevator. After several minutes, she stopped panicking utterly enough to breathe air instead of into a paper bag, and realized that she might have just broken someone's nose. But she wasn't brave enough to go look and see. Not by acres.

 

She was not present at any cafe the next day. Instead she took a taxi to the hospital, where she intended to put in extra hours so that she wouldn't be out in the streets in broad daylight.

@@Dawn Stripes, "I'm sorry... i just meant to say that if you need something i'd be glad to be of service." he tore a piece of paper from one of his book and wrote the name of his facebook account on it and handed it to her. "Give this to Colette. I want to keep in touch with her and the rest of you guys if you don't mind." he stood up and before he headed towards Bowed he said. "One last piece of advice... wish that the journey is long with lots of trials and tribulations. Read Homer's Odyssey and you will understand." During the rest of the perfomance he stayed mostly quiet enjoying the music and when apropriate he clapped with vigor.

Bowen had held his silence during Colette's performance. He wasn't the most vocal person when it came to such things, at least in the presence of his school going peers, but he still enjoys the performance. Rainbow seemed to be getting into it. Whether because it was because she legitimately enjoyed the music, or because it was Colette, Bowen didn't know. But her reaction was still amusing.

 

The band's performance ended, and they left the stage to rather uproarous applause, Bowen's included.

 

He glance back over at Dennis and Rainbow. He wa under what had been said, but it didn't fully concern him, really.

She sat down, silent for a second. Then she shrugged, and, words sublimated from her worry, she went back to watching Colette.

She turned to Bowen. "Whaddaya' think that was about?"

Jack cracked up a bit at Catherine ordering a wine. He saw Logan shoot a look at her, and heard the lecture. Of course, Jack had a reputation to keep, he couldn't go around underage drinking whenever he pleased, even if he didn't agree with drinking laws. He then felt Catherine's head against his elbow, her soft, golden hair. It felt good knowing that there was someone who actually cared for you. It gave him so much more to live for. Jack, too, was trying to think of conversation topics to cover Catherine's ass.

"So," Jack spoke up, before Logan and Catherine could way anything, "The NASCAR event at Road America is, as you know, in Wisconsin, and earlier today, I got a message from a new IndyCar team. They want me to partake in a tire test for the new Firestone slicks being developed. Of course, I've never raced open wheeled cars before, so I'm... kinda nervous. What should I say?"

Dr. Clark was wowed at Colette's performance.

"I never knew the girl could sing like that," he said in amazement.

At first, Angie merely shrugged in response to Cat, as if saying 'I got nothing'. But a few seconds later something clicked in the Pegasister's head. She stomped her sneaker clad heel into Logan's foot to gain his attention. A futile effort, considering he was wearing steel toed boots. She realized this, and instead bumped her fist against his arm. Angie gestures for Logan to lean down so she can whisper, "Let it slide, just this once, huh? You're ignoring the fact that I'm carrying a handgun in Calfornia, on a Pennsylvania liscence..."

Logan makes a quiet humming noise, but his expression stays the same. He locks eyes with Catherine as he lifts his hand, index finger raised, "Once. I will let this slide, once."

He sits back in his chair, shrugging slightly as his tone returns to normal, "Heck, five-six years ago, I did the same thing. I simply learned the hard way why we have laws."

Phew, dodged that bullet, Jack thought in his head. He still had a Coke ordered, but he still wanted at least a red wine to create the atmosphere. Still, he knew better than to screw with Logan. When Jack was silently contemplating whether or not he should partake in the tire test for IndyCar, he realized, he didn't have a place to stay! He assumed he'd be flying to Wisconsin right after the race for the tire test, but he still was unsure whether or not he was comfortable testing the new tire compound. Therefore, he had one less night booked at the hotel than the rest of his team, who would pack up the hauler and head back to Charlotte.

"Catherine," he said, "If it isn't too much, is it alright if I stay at your place for the night? We'll leave on the team plane to Wisconsin in the morning, tomorrow."

 

(OOC: Normally, Jack would go back to Charlotte with the team, but since the team knew of his interest in the tire test, he's heading straight to Wisconsin)

“That sounds like a great plan but first I need some of the names of the peo…I mean ponies that came along with you” with a simple sigh she started to explain how she got to his world and why. She explains how she attacks the town and how her plan was folioed by a girl named Rainbow Dash. But as suspected David was disappointed at the fact that she would attack a town full of incessant ponies. But it didn’t matter to him what she had done in the before in past it matter what she does now in the future. She then went on to give a list of names of the ponies and descriptions that came along with her “This is good start I think we should start with…Rainbow Dash” he said as he Google search. He found hundreds upon hundreds of results eventually he narrowed down to a tumbler blog with the name TheRealDash ((sorry if I’m wrong)) he showed Chrysalis she nodded to the image so did he from what she had said she kinda look like the pony “well its worth a shot I suppose” he said to himself he began writing the email (Sorry I kind of had to rush also Hey if you want to tell me something I’m doing wrong just say it)

Shawn recoiled back as the door slammed on his face. "AAAGH!" Shawn gripped his nose as he swore, growling as blood dripped onto the pavement. Shit! Shawn clumsily made his way home, wincing and cursing up a storm.

"Agh!" Stephen suddenly shouted out, sitting bolt upright from the couch, gripping his nose. "What the bloody hell??" He muttered as he went into the bathroom. Checking himself out, he saw nothing wrong, but gingerly touched his nose. It felt as if someone just punched him in the nose! Why??

 

The answer stumbled through the front door several minutes later, cursing under his breath.

 

"What the fuckin' hell, Shawn?!" Stephen asked, only to be brushed off by his twin as he entered the bathroom, slamming the door behind him. "…I went out with someone, and she slammed a door in my face when I went to kiss 'er." He called a moment later. Stephen would've burst out laughing at that, had it not been for the fact he was currently sharing his twin's pain. Nothing more was said as Shawn stepped out of the bathroom, going directly into his room for the remainder of the night.

Colette smirked, eyeing Harry's Les Paul. "She's a real beauty, but my Bethani can take 'er!" Colette said, strumming a chord on her guitar as she did so. "And don't you worry. I know that song well!" "How 'bout we join you?? To back the both of you." Zach asked. "I don't see why not!"

 

After a few more acts, Harry's turn was announced. "And now, we have a guitar duel between Harriet Yorke and Colette Irving!" The crowd cheered loudly once again.

 

Colette took her place on the stage, strumming a few chords, a sign that she was raring to go. "Ready when you are! You start off round one! I'll have a surprise waiting for you for round two!" Colette said with a wink, grinning mischievously.

"It was horrible!" Fluttershy groaned over Aly's take-out dinner. "He was no nice but then...it was going to be okay...then he kissed me! Just out of nowhere!"

"Sorry?" said Aly awkwardly, trying to help, probably thinking it would be nice to have men off the street asking her out on nice dates every now and again.
She sat next to Fluttershy, folded her hands in her lap, and opened her mouth a couple times. "Well--why don't you just tell him you're not interested?"

"Right." Fluttershy took her head out of her hands. "I can just go, and tell him, and..."

They sat in silence.

"You can't do it, can you?"

"No!" Fluttershy curled Jnathon close.

 

Sitting in the courtyard outside the apartment, Fluttershy filled pages of sketchpad. She started off drawing the birds that liked to perch on the low-hanging power line leading into the apartment complex. When her mind drifted to Aly, she started drawing more pictures of her. But when her curves became too sensuous, she went back to the birds. The birds were safe. They couldn't possibly cause any trouble, anywhere.

Without realizing she was doing it, Fluttershy whistled responses when the birds on the line chirped down at her, calling her.

Harry grinned, and stepped onstage. She stood behind the microphone and as soon as she was ready, began playing the intro to Freebird. The song was the first part; in a lot of radio plays of the song, they cut it off after the song was finished. But Harry planned to play the second part, the guitar solo, in full. She sang the words of the song as she played, and several students sang along from the crowd.

Catherine's face lit up and she smiled at Angie, before looking back at Logan. "Ah, oui! Merci!" Getting a bit of wine wasn't a big deal to her. It was the fact that she, with Angie's help, was able to influence Logan.

"Thanks," Jack responds. After receiving their drinks, the waitress asks for the group's order.

"I'll go with spaghetti, marinara on the side, please," Jack responds.

"I guess I'll..." Twilight's voice trails off as she looked at the menu a bit more, "I'll go with a salad." Salad has always been a safe choice for the ponies in the human world.

Logan simply nods in response to Catherine's thanks. It was clear from his expression he was neither pleased nor proud of his decision, but he didn't say more on the matter.

 

Angie merely gave her a smile. She was only mildly surprised by Logan's choice, honestly having expected him to have told her to be quiet. Perhaps being best friends with someone for most your lives gave you some influence, huh?

I'll gave you my address, but you have to tell me where you are. You said something about being on the other side of world, that could literally mean anywhere--which will make the trip here that much harder. There's the issue of passports and travel documents, both of which are required for travel when going to another country.

 

There's also something else I need to tell you: I wasn't the only one to find an Equestrian. My twin brother's just taken in a Changeling named Cicada. Now before you get too worked up, she hadn't made any contact with Fluttershy, and hasn't drained either me or my brother, from what I can tell. I've been avoiding her, but I'll have a chat with her in the morning.

 

One more thing. I went out with Fluttershy today. I took her out to a cafe, and everything went smoothly, until I walked her home. I went to give her a peck on the cheek, but she she slammed a door in my face and took off. Is… is she seeing anyone??

She looked to Harry as they came to the second half of the song, smirking as she strummed faster and faster. Harry wasn't the only one who could shred to this song!

Harry played as she sang the words to "Freebird"; she was very happy. She always was when she got a chance to play her guitar in front of an audience. She thought about what Colette had planned for the second half of the song; she could hardly wait! The guitar riffs were easy enough to do, it was the length of the song which made it complex.

"Nyeh nyeh nyeh nyeh nyeh nyeh nyeh!" Rainbow was thoroughly enjoying Colette's little guitar battle. It was getting pretty awesome, actually. Almost made Rainbow wish she could play the guitar. Everything went swimingly until her phone buzzed again.

Luca--or rather, damn--that thing was really starting to get annoying. Rainbow didn't really want to answer it right now, but after a few more foot taps, phone addiction kicked in, and she flipped open the phone long enough to take a peek at the message.

Her heart lurched up into her lungs. Oh, SHiiiiiii--

\> YOU STAY AWAY FROM FLUTTERSHY, BUB! WHEN I GET OVER THERE I'LL TOSS YOUR ASS OFF A CLOUD!

"Hey, uh, DENNY!" Rainbow Dash swirled around in her seat. "You! Brony! You wanna' me, right? Uh--Oddyssy, right?" She leaned in close and grabbed him by the shirt collar. "How d'you feel about goin' to Scotland? Like RIGHT NOW."

After Shawn sent the email, he went to sleep, thankfully for the remainder of the evening. In the morning, he called his employer, stating he'll be coming in the afternoon. He then headed straight for the hospital, unsure if he wanted to bump into bump into Fluttershy so soon...

 

Shawn was now in the hospital waiting room, cursing and grumbling under his breath as he filled out the painfully necessary papers.

The head nurse rang Caitlyn, asking if she could come in for a few hours. Things were just getting hectic, and the staff could use all the help they could get!

Colette proved to be a more than capable rival, as she, too handled the solo with aplomb. She finished the song with a flourish, eating both herself and Harry another uproarious cheer from the crowd. "Ready for round two??" Colette asked as she made her way back to Harry. "This song's gonna ve a little less forgiving." She added before heading over to the band, pulling them into a huddle. Connor and Zach balked at the request, whilst Eric laughed and nodded. "Aw, come on, I know the both of you can handle it!" The other guitarists looked at her, but nodded as well.

Colette began the song, which had a furious pace, Connor and Zach letting out a cry before Colette, who continued to strum furiously for a bit more before beginning to sing again:

Fluttershy got a call from St. (uhh, I think it was Gregory's, but if not, I'm changing the name! Anywho--), and went in as soon as she could. Sarah had her change into scrubs so that she looked more professional.

"Are you sure I'm supposed to do this?" said Fluttershy. "I don't want one of the doctor to ask me to write dosage. You said I wasn't supposed to..."
"Oh, you'll be fine! "Sarah plopped a white hat on Fluttershy's head, making her smile. "We don't want people to think we can't keep up. So just remember your bedside manner and remember--everything is fine."
Flutterhsy went to her first assignment, where a nurse needed help taking down a line of walk-in patients and directing them to the proper department. "Hi!~" said Fluttershy, easily slipping into cheer as she readied herself to help others. "What seems to be the-urp!" 

She stopped short. Shawn was seated on a bench in the crowded waiting room, holding his nose--in the first seat.

@@Dawn Stripes, Dennis was confused at first but after a second he understood what Rainbow tried to say. It was funny actually... but he had to get back to the real world. "Scotland huh? Thats gonna be somewhat hard but... Out of curiosity... what is there in Scotland? It seems urgent."
