Colette tried to make her way over to the distraught Unicorn, but Catherine beat her to the punch. "Rarity…" She began, returning to her position behind Fluttershy. "We're gonna save them. Whether or not Louise and company decide to--"

 

Colette was cut off by the sound of a speeding car, her jaw dropping as it came screeching to a halt just inches from the rear bumper…

 

Colette wasted no time heading back to her car as Louise revealed herself taking Fluttershy by the hand and leading her to the car, opening the door for the other girls before getting in herself. She rolled her window down and peered at Dennis, wondering what he was doing. "That's a cool pose and all Dennis, but we're heading out, so… Might wanna get back in??"

Charles then checking his weapon, then looking at Nick and then smiles. “Nick you need thinking about your girl Pinky ok and you need to rescue her she is counting on you. You learn from my Training, even fighting and you know how to do Martal Arts so help Dennis to rescue her ok. We will give you cover and time to get the girls ok Nephew.”

“Yea Uncle I will rescue Pinky and Rainbow Dash with Dennis you can count on me.” Nick saying as Charles smiles too then looking out side while thinking too. Then he decide give Rarity her neckless back too. As he open the door. “Rarity I got your neckless too.”

"I'm not... posing... what made you think of that? Never mind lets go... i don't want Dash another second on the hands of those agents." He said as he proceeded to get ready for departure once again. 

"I am coming for you Rainbow Dash." he said inside his head. He would save her, he would not be stopped by anyone... each moment she spent there was a moment during which his mind was filled with horrible thoughts of what would happen to her, scenes from movies came to mind and dissections that would cause others to puke. No, no, no, no... he would not allow that! Not for one more bit necessary! He would stop this no matter what!

Fluttershy had been hugging Rarity before the speeding car came in, trying to comfort her friend because, these days, it seemed like all she could do. But she ran when the screech came and Louise started yelling for her to get in the car; she pulled Rarity by the hand behind her, trying to make sure she was safe.

Rainbow closed her eyes, trying to find darkness again. She almost felt like she could hear Dennis...promising to come get her...

Catherine put her arm around Rarity and held her close to comfort her. "It's alright. Don't fret about it. We're going to get them now and there was never a doubt about that, so don't feel guilty. It always works out in the end, right?" She took out a handkerchief and wiped away Rarity's tears

Colette smiled as both Fluttershy and Catherine embraced Rarity, going over and embracing the Unicorn as well, as best she could through the two other girls. "Cat's right. We're going to rescue them now. Count on it!"

 

Colette stayed like this until Louise's car came speeding into the parking lot. Colette wasted no time and made her way back to her car, calling out to Dennis as he jumped out and stood there a moment, snapping him out of his reverie.

 

She waited until everyone was back inside her car before she backed up, making her way behind Louise's car, turning back onto the road when she got the chance. She then dialed Dennis again, placing her phone on speaker, tapping at the steering wheel whilst she listened to the dial tone…

Abernathy made her way to the "computer lab", where four men sat in front dual monitors, typing unintelligible code as the senior agent enetered the room. She cleared her throat, but received no response, so she went back to the door, flicking the light switch on and off. The men looked up to her, annoyed looks on faces, only to lose them once they saw who attracted their attention. "Mmuh--ma'am! We're trying to track down the perpetrator of the hack, but it seems like he used an onion router," the man closest to the door explained, "and since that's the case…" he shook his head. "We're performing timing analysis and checking for potential predecessor attacks to see if we can--"

 

"--It was Burton." Abernathy stated flatly, cutting the technobabble. "How did you--" "--she disappeared around the same time the systems went down. Took two a' aliens with 'er."

 

The men just stared at her silently, mouths slightly agape in nonplussed silence. Abernathy huffed angrily before addressing them again. "Burton turned on us whislt you chucklefucks were in here dicking around! She made us all look like God damned idiots!" She roared, slamming her fist down onto a desk.

 

She pursed her lips and took a deep breath in an attempt to check her risong anger, which did little. "Reinforce the encryption on the network-- and for God's sake, make sure it's CLOSED this time! And stay on top of it!" She boomed. "Fuck around again, and I'll rip out all your teeth and wear them as a necklace! Are we clear?" She added, her voice low, but still seething in anger. All of the men's faces blanched, but they nodded nonetheless.

 

"Good. Now..." Abernathy said, looking around the room, pointing to the man at the farthest station. "You! Go dark and send an encrypted message to Burton. Let 'er know just well she did!"

Louise was driving when her phone beeped, indicating that she had an email. Taking one hand off the wheel for a moment, she picked up the phone and accessed her email. Without surprise, she read it. She hadn't expected Abernathy to remain in ignorance for long about her part in this. Still, some risks had to be taken if it meant that she could finally go home.

Charles was looking at the roads while they heading to the area, as he was thinking about this and was thinking what he plan to do after the mission. Then he thinking going to Brazil to live there for awhile since they will be chasing them but he want his nephew and his brother be safe too. So he plan ask NSA to put some protection for his Nephew family so this way they will be protected while he heading to Brazil and going to live there for awhile.

Bit by bit his blood started to boil with anticipation, worry, love, everything that could be associated with the situation. It wasn't something easily contained right now... when his phone vibrated it slipped once when he tried to open it and answer the call. It was Colette and he knew this might be the last contact they would have. When he spoke his voice, though seemingly calm, betrayed an anxiety that he wanted to express to her.

"I'm here Colette... ready as i'll ever be... i just hope everything goes well. Are you ready? How do you feel?" he couldn't know her feelings but secretly he hoped they shared the same passion to free the ponies. Moreover he hoped that Colette would say something calming, something that would boost both her and his morale... she was his friend afterall right? After all they had been through...

"I'm nervous, to be honest," Colette admitted. "But I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Right now, I wanna save Pinkie and Dash more than anything." Colette then released a hand from.the steering wheel, taking up onepf Fluttershy's hands and lacing her fingers within her own. "We're going up against something that's beyond our scope of power, even if we have two former government agents on our side."

 

Colette squeezed Fluttershy's hand a little at this. "Even with the odds stacked miles high against us, I'm gonna give it my all to kick as many asses necessary until Pinkie and Dash're safe!"

Several hours had passed, and Colette found herself following Louise deeper and deeper into a thick forest, the trees nearly blocking out the night sky. She looked around, looking for any sign of a road…

 

She crawled to a stop as Louise's car pulled over, stepping out and going over to help the others out of the car, wrapping an arm around her girlfriend's waist, the other around Catherine's shoulders before walking her over to Louise. "Umm… why'd we stop?? I don't see anything…"

Angie hadn't quite been expecting that! Sure, he had wrapped an arm across her shoulders a lot, but his words were not expected. She didn't really object though. To be perfectly honest, she was... Well, curious. Giving Shawn a slight smirk, she leaned herself against him, "Well... I suppose the basics of reloading can wait a bit, huh?"

 

As she spoke, Angelica started to lift herself higher on her toes.

Logan found his statement to her only proven all the more true from Applejack's reaction. Who knew that blushing showed up so well at night? He smiled at her excuse, gearing himself up to respond that she really was, but he was cut off instantly by two things. Firstly, she returned his earlier compliment in her own words, then he found his breath being stolen by the contact of her mouth against his own.

 

He had kissed her a fair amount before now, but this was certainly... more, than any of those. It took the officer a half second to recover, but as soon as he had, Logan leaned in, returning the kiss in full and hugging her close.

"Follow me," Louise said just before she plunged into the bushes. Eventually, she led them to a huge metal fence, which had razor wire on the top.

 

"This is the perimeter fence," she told the others. "It circles the site entirely, and there are cameras located in various spots. There's one here, in fact," she added, pointing it out. "A needle fired into the back of it would take it out quietly; no-one in the base would be aware that the camera is out unless they chose to check it. This is unlikely, as they wouldn't do that unless an alarm sounded. The fence isn't alarmed at this point; it relies on the camera recording anyone trying to get in. I expect that the guards will be on the alert; I received an email from Abernathy making it perfectly clear that she knows I had a hand in Rarity and Fluttershy's escape from here."

Charles was looking at the place as it was guard it tight like fort knox since now this going to be hard to get in but he thinking away and then listing to Louise as he was looking around while thinking something and then turn to Louise. “You say that your Ex-Boss knew you were behind this that means we may need a distraction so others can get in while they deal with the distraction and I thinking this could be a good Ideal too. But if not then we need find another way in with out getting caught.”

"I'll try," said Fluttershy with a deep breath. She recognized the spot at the fence where Rarity had dug her to freedom; this was the spot where she'd left Rainbow Dash behind. It couldn't happen again.

Twilight sat up suddenly. She thought..."Did you hear something?" she asked Cicada. "I thought I heard something popping. Like a balloon, maybe."

@@Dawn Stripes, Cicada had also heard something, and had just been about to remark on it. "Something is going on out there," she said. "We had better check it out. If it's danger, then you can use your magic and I can use my powers. I can do small magics, but what I can do can't compare to alicorn magic."

"Jus a wee bit!" Shawn said, leaning down and closing the gap and kissing the brunette on the lips. He kissed her passionately, wrapping his arms around her waist and bringing her closer.

 

He held her in an embarace for a while, until the distinct sound of a gunshot. Shawn jumped and looked around to determine where the sound originate. "Les get back inside!"

 

With that, he took Angie and ran as fast as he could, hoping the others were safe…

"Princess?" Stephen asked as he knocked a second time. "We just wanna tell ye--"

 

The sound of a gunshot rang out through the hall, causing Stephen to jump back from the door, and into his own room, clumsily pulling the human woman and the Changeling with him.

 

After a moment catching his breath, he chanced a peek out into the hall. "What the fuck?!" he breathed out, pulling his head back, breathing a sigh at the fact that he could.

 

"TWILIGHT! CICADA! STAY IN YER ROOM!" He called out before closing his door. "Dun suppose either ane o ye wud huv a gun on ye??" Stephen asked sarcastically. "We need ta find a way ta get outta here!" Stephen looked back to Diliges and Claire, then back to the door. "Ye okay??"

Applejack thoroughly enjoyed being kissed by Logan, pulling herself as close as she could. "Logan… It's gettin' mighty late, n' Ah wanna stay with ya, but Ah need ta get back ta Twi... knowin' that overgrown varmint, she prolly tricked Twilight intuh--"

 

The sound of a loud pop rang out through the air, cutting the now wide eyed Cowpony off for a breif moment. "What in the hay was that?!" She looked around as she wrapped her arms around one of Logan's. AJ looked up to the officer, utter confusion etched on her face as she searched his. "Did sump'n pop??"

Twilight nodded. With a deep, shuddering breath, she dropped the pen and tried to summon her real magic.

She hadn't tried to use it yet. The finer points of control--to her great shame, as a Princess-had always been a bit beyond her, and they did come much more easily to Rarity. As she focused, trying to find and trace new leylines through her unfamiliar body, she could feel the bulwark there--distant, in a way, as if wrapped behind a shadow, but definitely in there somewhere.

She couldn't quite tap it. But that would have to come when the time came.

Throwing open the door, she ran side by side with Cicada downstairs to the lobby of the hotel, looking out into the parking light to see...

"Try your best, Flutters!" Colette said as she reached down and squeezed her hip. "You wanna save Dashie and Pinks as bad as the rest of us, dontcha?"

 

She led both Fluttershy and Catherine to where Louise was, releasing her grip on both the other women and eyeing the fence as she did so. She looked up to the camera and frowned. "Anyone else get the feeling that this is too easy?"

 

Nevertheless, she joined Louise, eyeing the camera again. "How are gonna disable it??"

Fluttershy jumped; Colette grabbed her hip very unexpectedly when she was eyeing the fence, trying to figure out what she was meant to do in a rescue mission, and then, just a suddenly, let go. It was a little disappointing despite Fluttershy's perfectly good knowledge that this wasn't the time or place, but she sighed before she knew she was doing it.

 

"I do," she said very firmly, crouching down near the fence. "Um....they fixed it very fast. I don't see the hole anymore."

@@Hypn0ticD, "Rarity could do it, if she fired a needle into the back of the camera," Louise replied.

 

Rarity jumped a bit at hearing her name. "Me?" she asked. "Well, alright." Rarity did exactly what Louise asked, creating a sewing needle with her magic and sending it flying into the correct spot. As the needle hit, a small plume of smoke emitted from the camera, indicating that she had hit it exactly on target.

Charles was amazed by Rarity needle attack on the Camera and looking to her too while he smiles. “You have good aimed with the needles love.” Then he was looking at the fence as he was thinking and then looking at the group. “Ok that down and is this fence electric Louise?”

"Well, that takes care of the camera, but what about the fence??" Colette asked as she rejoined Fluttershy at the fence, leaning in and inspecting it. "You sure you got through here, Flutters? I don't see any cuts or anything like that…"

"Camera 16 just went out. Got visuals on the aliens beforehand, ma'am. One has dark hair and the others one's blonde." Paige said, her voice crackling over the radio. "Good to know!" Abernathy radioed back. "Let them approach the facility. I wanna surprise them!" She added, cocking her Glock 27. Abernathy then turned to the large group of men who were eagerly awaiting orders.

 

"Get to your stations, boys! We're expecting guests! Let's make 'em feel welcome!"

As they approached Dennis took out some brass knuckles from his backpack and wore them. While the rest went on disabling the cameras he was about to warn them of the visual range but it was too late when Rarity disabled them. Well at least they didn't see them now... but...

"I think they caught wind of us... and i agree Colette... it's not rational that they haven't shown signs of being alarmed to us yet."

His eyes widened in surprise as he froze for a moment. Not only had he understood what was going on but he had also gotten an idea about what to do to counter just that.

"Wait... wait guys! What if they are waiting for us? We can't just barge in there. Besides Louise here got that mail from that agent which means they are definately aware. We need a distraction... we need a distraction that will cause everyone to abandon their posts and cause some chaos."

He started thinking as hard as he could working on something that would give them an edge. He was surprised to come not only with one, but two ideas about that.

"Louise if we sabotaged their power source would this cause the nessecary chaos to free Dash and Pinkie? What if we lit a fire here? Would this distract them long enough to free them?"

"The fence isn't electrified," Louise replied to Charles. "But there is razor wire on top of it, so climbing is out of the question. I can see the places in the fence where it's been mended." She thought, then spoke again, this time to Dennis.

 

"A fire would be best; sabotaging the power was what I did last time so I'm sure that Abernathy has tightened up the security. In any case, I'm sure that guards will be coming here soon so we'd better split up to do what we have to do."

 

Rarity spoke up. "I could make a cloak of invisibility," she said. "As long as it's connected to clothing, I can make it with my magic."
