"Ugh..." Rainbow facepalmed. "Twilight, I already HAVE a way to get there. I can get on a plane already! Yeah, there's a guy here who's gonna' pay for the tickets. I can leave in a FEW HOURS."

She glared up at Colette, and leaned back over the phone, close to the mic. "Look, you really want me to leave Fluttershy alone out there? For how long?! I can go now, but if I stand this guy up, who knows how long it'll take for your whoever to get here? You don't think she's been out there alone long enough?"

She sat down, then stood again. "Look--I don't think I should wait. I got a message from Fluttershy on my blog, okay? It was from this guy. A guy, Twi. He said he kissed Fluttershy--and got a broken nose. Does that sound like something we should wait a few days to check out?"

Fluttershy nodded, relieved that the pressure of being rude was taken off her. As she rose, a tall blonde walked into the cafe and nodded at her--

At her? Fluttershy did a small double take, her gaze flicking towards the retreating lithe figure before she caught herself and kept her eyes to herself. That was odd. Things like that didn't usually happen. Fluttershy paused for a moment near the threshold of the resteraunt--might that have meant something? What would happen if she went over and talked to her right now? What would happen if she didn't? What if--

She threw her head forward so her hair fell across her face. Stop being pathetic, Fluttershy. How long had it been since her last crush? A week? Rarity was right; she really was hopeless. What she should really do was forget about such silly things and focus on her one true--no, that could never be either. She sighed; now where was Shawn? Ah, yes, there. In front of her. She smiled. Shall we go?

So if she's the one who gave the guy a broken nose, then it proves that she can handle herself on her own. And what's so bad with him kissing Fluttershy? Sounds like somepony is getting quite defensive. Why not rationalize the situation fully before you head out to who-knows-where and before you end up doing something stupid to the poor guy."

"Heh heh," Jack chuckles a bit, "Alcoholic cider definitely would be useful at night. Whatever you do, don't even wash it down with Nyquil. Don't ask why you shouldn't, just don't. Ha ha ha."

"It's amazing," Jack responded to Rarity's comment about cider, "Although I'd assume Applejack's family's cider is even better than the stuff here."

"You betcha! Our cider is better than anything you'll ever find! It's an ol' family recipe. Of course, it wouldn't be half as good without Sweet Apple Acres apples!" she laughed, full of enthusiasm when talking about what she loved best; her family and her farm. They were the only things that came even close to her love for her friends.

Cicada nodded. She said, "If anypony asked me my name before, in this world, I called myself Cecy. I saw the name in a book someplace, and it's close to my name anyway."

Pinkie was determined. And when she was determined, Pinkie always got what she wanted. She had an address now, a place to go, and she was gonna get there, no matter what!

 

She spent the last of her paid hour in the internet cafe looking for ways to get to Racine, and eventually settled on a station. Of course, she didn't have any money here, but that wouldn't be a problem. There was always a way around things if she tried, Pinkie found. When her hour was up, Pinkie thanked the foreign girl who had helped her and left the cafe. She soon found a sign pointing the way to the station and walked in that direction.

 

At the station, it took a while of asking people where a train to Racine was, but eventually she found out which one it was. She stood at the ticket machine, looking a bit lost and a woman came up to her.

 

"Need any help, love?" the woman asked.

 

Pinkie turned to face her. "I'm trying to get to where my friend is staying," she said. "But I lost my ticket."

 

The woman made sympathetic noises. "Poor thing," she said. "Don't worry, I'll get you another one then you'll be all set."

 

The woman paid for a ticket for Pinkie and pressed it into her hand. "There you go, pet," she said. "I don't normally do this, but I don't like to see a young girl stranded all alone."

 

Pinkie beamed. "Thank you so much!" she exclaimed, and ran to catch the train. Once on it, she looked out the window and hummed to herself. She had printed out the address given, and glanced at it once or twice. The journey wouldn't take long, and soon she'd be with Rainbow again! Then, she was sure, it wouldn't take long to find the rest of her friends.

"I am NOT being defensive!" Rainbow all but shouted into the mouthpiece. "I'm....being defend-ing! Like you'd be if you really cared about our friends! I'm not gonna' let Fluttershy down all over again, I can't live with that. The only one doing anything stupid is the one who's hitting on our pal, and I'm gonna' do something about it!"

Rainbow stood for a couple seconds, holding the phone, before realizing what she'd said, groaning, and dragging a blunt claw through her hair. "I am so stupid," she muttered.

She handed the phone out for Colette. "You don't have to worry, Colette. I won't be your problem anymore. Sorry again about the car thing. I'll...uh,..sorry. If the plushie thing works out I'll send you some cash or...hell, I don't know." She shuffled for the doors, knowing she had a plane to catch.

"Now I did Remember that You Applejack did have a Face off with those two con ponies Flim and Flam was it? They almost took over your farm but it did just backfire on them, I know that you Twilight, Rarity and rest of your friends help her too."

The Pegasus was out of the door before she could say anything more. "DAMMIT, RAINBOW!" Colette yelled as she punched a wall. "Fine, go out on your little adventure! See if I care!"

 

Colette then stormed back to the gym just as the assembly was wrapping up, muttering under her breath. She took a moment to calm down before looking for Chloe, as she needed a ride home. She needed to clean up Rainbow's mess before she headed to work…

Shawn was also momentarily distracted as he led Fluttershy to her destination, dyeing the blonde as she sat down "Shall we go?" "Huh, what??" He was snapped back to reality by Fluttershy's soft voice. "Uhh… yeah!" He led the Pegasus back outside, where there were more women, smiling and nodding to the duo. "Love how you did your hair!" One woman called out to Fluttershy

(Speaking of copious amounts of BS...did Shawn secretly enchant Fluttershy with a glamour spell just five minutes ago or what?)

 

Fluttershy kept her head down. These--these woman must be smiling at Shawn. That had to be it. A stallion who would try to kiss a mare after knowing her for only one day usually meant he was pretty attractive and normally got what he wanted, which is how Fluttershy had managed to judge such things before. It should probably work with humans too.

(Well I didn't say that Rainbow walked out that fast--I was giving Colette a chance to do something. Mind if I recton just a tweansy bit...)

Rainbow Dash stopped in her tracks when Colette began to yell for her again. She hung her head, listening to her tell Rainbow to stop what she was doing.

"Cole..." Rainbow made sure not to raise her voice. After a couple seconds hesitation, she made her noodley human arms serve and pulled the girl into a limp, brief hug. "Sorry, dude. But not this time. Friends first. I'm the Element of Loyalty and...some kinda' shit like that." She tried a smile, but it really rather failed, so she turned and fled before things could get even worse.

Why did Colette think it was so weird to feel this need to go save them? Oh well; Rainbow couldn't sit down and explain it all to her. There were reasons she couldn't. Friends first.

 

She jogged the bus stop--she hadn't gotten any exercise in a few pages, and the movement helped calm her down just a little bit. "Sorry I'm late," she panted when she spied Dennis at the stop. "Shit went down and stuff. Are we ready to go?"

Don't take it bad i do like it that you have come here!" he says raising his hands defensively. "But out world isn't as nice as yours... and not all people will like you. That is why i need you to listen to one simple thing." he raising his pointing finger in front of him. "Do not lose sight of me... wherever we go. Because by accompanying you i am practically your guide in this world... and this is a great responsibility. One that i would never forgive myself neglecting."

"Next time you guys come here, if ya do," Jack said to Applejack with a chuckle, "You should bring some Sweet Apple Acres cider and apples!"

"Wait, Rainbow! What do you thi-" Twilight was cut off by the phone hanging up. She sighed and facepalmed.

"So..." Jack responds, "I take it we should head to Wisconsin as soon as possible?"

"Yes..." Twilight responded, "Rainbow's going to get into a lot of trouble if we don't arrive in time!" The group, however, was not aware of the fact that she was already on her way to trying to get a plane to Scotland.

"In that case," Jack responds, "We should probably get on the team jet and fly to Wisconsin as soon as dinner's over, and everypony is ready."

Charles saying as he seeing the waiter came and put the bill on the table. Then he looking at it as Charles Food was $32 Dollars, Rarity was $20 and came up $52. So he pay for it while looking at the others and then looking at Rarity too.

"Damn right it's not as nice," Rainbow drawled. Then she sighed, shook her head. "Sorry. I'm being a jerk today. Let's get going. I'll keep close to you if that's what you want, I guess." Unless you're not going towards Fluttershy.

 

Rainbow tried not to talk altogether too much during the car ride. Another guy that thought she was the best thing since sliced bread. He was practically treating her like a princess. 'Great responsibility', hah! Like Rainbow Dash would know anything about responsibility. Normally she would've thought this was great. Nothing could be better than the perfect fan. But lately...it didn't feel so great anymore.

When Pinkie arrived at Racine, she got off the train and looked around. She felt tired and also really hungry. She wished she had some money to buy food, but of course, she didn't have any. Never mind, maybe when she'd found the house where Rainbow was staying, she could ask for food there. Pinkie had no idea that Rainbow was rushing to catch a plane to Scotland. She examined the printout and found the address where she was going and began to purposely walk in the direction where the house was.

I'll let ya know if I hear anything from Rainbow, okay??" Shawn went to hug Fluttershy, but stopped short--"is it okay if I hug ya??"

"Well, no." Rainbow tilted her head, her rainbow hair was getting stuck in the belt buckle. "But it's cool. I get it."

The guy was nice enough, after all. If she thought about it he was paying a few hundred bucks for the privalage of being the guy to fly her to Scotland--obviously he didn't quite see it that way. Maybe she shouldn't either. She was nothing so hot stuff, after all. She was a regular screw-up today.

She sighed. "I thought being famous like a Wonderbolt would be great," she muttered. "Well, just great."

When the taxi pulled up to the curb of (Racine Airport?) Rainbow held up a hand. "Hold on, I got this." She pushed open the taxi door quickly, ran around to the other side and pulled open the door on Dennis' side. "Gentlemen first!"

Fluttershy opened the door, tilting up the brim up her sunhat. "Yep! I'm ready." She struggled to lug a suitcase with all her few worldly belongings--mostly clothes, as well as a couple kitchen knives--with her across the sidewalk. She'd explained that she might not be coming back, so she wanted to take everything important to her. Which was, essentially, everything she owned since coming here. Especially her drawing things, and all the drawings she'd made of Aly...

Maybe she should throw those away. Fluttershy had had to do that before, when it got too hard to keep them. She always ended up deciding they were foolish at some point and burning them, and after that happened once...well, she couldn't very well change her mind at that point.

Rainbow's smile faded away, and she furrowed her brows. "What...did I, did I do it wrong?" She was just trying to be nice. She didn't want to do this thing again like at the 'party' where she kept pretending she was a celebrity. Well, she was. But she just...not today. She wanted to show this guy she appreciated his being there--because certainly she needed someone right now--as much as he appreciated her, at least. But apparently he thought it was...funny?
