I had an idea. Actually two, But I will combine them.

Has there ever been an event where remixes are chained?
The idea is that it starts with one song. (Selecting which one might be difficult, haha.) Then, people announce their desire to remix it, and based on passion and excitement, one person is chosen to make a remix. This will include an effort to improve the song, to add awesomeness (at least in the remixer's view) while retaining enough of the original song to make it a legit remix and not just an 'inspired work', and the remixer has to fully focus only on the currently latest remix, not on the whole chain. The remixer should also try to not rigidly enforce his favorite genre, but be flexible and honor the previous work. As I said, remix in this case is to be focused mainly on adding awesomeness, not on changing genre or lengthening.

Then, the same procedure is repeated with that remix. Rinse and repeat.


Must be fun to observe in what direction it is going.
