I wanna be a portrait artist, so being able to paint realistic skin tones is one of my goals...This is my first time playing with this new palette smile.png I'm still very much a beginner with oils, so I apologize for any, uh...roughness, and lack of subtlety ^^;

Self portrait...at least there's always one model that's willing to sit and pose for me for hours D:

:o I'm not gonna criticise this for two reasons:

1) This is much better than I could ever do, then again I am 12 :)

2) I can't criticise it theres nothing to criticise about it it's too good :D keep doing this there is no roughness :P

For a beginner as you say you are, this is amazingly good. All I can really comment on is it feels a bit dirty in places, for instance the shadow under the right eye. But that is something that just takes practice with the medium to work out and a pretty common thing with newcomers to oil paints.
