Couple of Sketches

trying to get a decent picture with my unstable hands is quite a challenge...

Anway, I have a few sketches that I would like criticism on (any and all is appreciated)

 

So I finally got around to trying a full body shot of an OC (instead of just drawing heads :|) and the result wasn't too bad.

 

 

There are a couple notable mistakes here though: The ear seems a bit off, neck (to me) looks just slightly too long, the front left hoof was the more difficult part of this ._. .

 

A quick drawing I did of the adorable Pinkamena (I really need to learn to scale my drawings so I can fit the whole pony onto the page...)

 

 

Overall, I think it came out quite well. Except for the hooves (and maybe the body as a whole, not really good with bodies at the moment), had trouble with those (not the best with eye measurements).

 

And here's a quick sketch I did of MY head :3

These are really good. I like your art style. Though, on the first one, when you shade the legs, you don't color them all black. Shade them like you shaded the chest. But a bit darker, I think.

Yeah like RKA (   ) here above me said, the legs are shaded too dark on the first drawing.

 

Anyhow, your drawings are pretty good, you certainly know how to draw the pony bodies, but you could use a bit of practise of drawing pony faces. For example the eyes in your drawings looks a little bit too small if you're going for the show's style. Especially in the first one.

 

But other than that they're quite nice! Good job
