The Luna and Celestia show obviously. It'd be a great Sitcom full of witty humor and hilariousities. It'd be like George and Jerry (From Seinfeld) Had there own show, Except Its Luna and Celestia. Oh and Cadence can be Kramer!

It would be great to have a spin off based around the changelings and their everyday lives, it would also be nice just to see more of them in the show

A lot of the ideas here are pretty good, however, spinoffs like these four would be cool:

• A Seinfeld-like show about background pony roommates.
• A miniseries about Daring Do and her adventures
• A miniseries about citizens living in places other than Equestria
• One about Twilight Sparkle, Celestia, or somepony else writing a book about what would happen if certain villans won, and how pony life would be affected, all those stuff, and we get to see what they are thinking about.

I'd love to see it in my eyes, instead of my mind. See what it would be like to be able to truly visualize the goings on of everything.

I'd probably turn my own headcanon into a show. The story would revolve around a group of Equestria-bound refugees hailing from Fohlenheim - a desolate wasteland that was once their homeland, torn apart by forces of evil (haven't quite worked out what forces yet...the changelings, maybe?).

 

The first season would revolve around the Mane ponies' attempts to begin their lives anew and assimilate to Equestrian culture, but generally failing miserably at it. Later on, they would become discontented with their situation and start to formulate strategies to retake the capital city of Winterhaven. Along the way I assume they'd gain the assistance of various ponies, griffons, and maybe even a dragon or two.

 

And no, it wouldn't be grimdark. A little grim and a little dark, yes, but it would focus more on the camaraderie between the main characters than on the darker aspects of the story. This show would definitely have a more "boyish" appeal than FiM, but would still hang on to a lot of the humor that makes FiM great...provided I could get good writers to work on it.

I have two spinoffs in mind. In one of them, all the ponies are now kittens. The second is Octavia's own show, and she stars in it (duh).

My idea is to start at the "Too Many Pinkie Pies" episode, and show that one of the duplicates actually left Ponyville without being sent back into the pond.  The series would follow the adventures of the duplicate traveling around Equestria, making friends and helping others and (of course) having fun.

 

 

Many of you have come up with awesome concepts.  I like the idea of the ponies in a live-action human world.  I also would like to see the series of one-shot stories about various background characters.

Yo... I really, really love that Duplicate Pinkie idea! And toward the end of the show, everypony begins to shower the real Pinkie with praise for traveling around Equestria and being so awesome and spreading happiness, and she doesn't know why. And then she meets the Duplicate Pinkie, and she has to decide whether or not to let her stay since she's made so many friends and been so nice...
