Cutie Mark help?

Hello! This is a little random, but I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me out with this. I'm currently in the process of making a ponysona type thing for myself. Anyway, I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with a good, unique cutie mark... I'm a writer, so I know I want my cutie mark to represent writing (fiction, if that matters,) so a quill or something might work, but I'm not sure. That's not quite unique. Plus, I want it to be adorable somehow. I'd like it if it somehow reflected my love for cute things. I don't know. Thoughts?

Is it a specific kind of writing? Like is it traditional writing, or musical writing, foreign writing, etc. If it isn't English you could use a symbol from another country.

You could always let it have philosophical meaning, such as a pen falling from the paper, showing that you will be an incredibly abstract writer or- what am I thinking e_e

Nope, I write in English... although I'd love to know enough Japanese to write a full story in it...

Mainly I write fiction stories. All sorts of different things, but always fiction.

Perhaps you can look at some fonts to find something that fills your cute needs. And then style it in a personal manner to make it unique to you, and not just copied from the font. Maybe add unique colors, or splashes of ink.

Maybe try a pen writing in Copper Plate Script on a strip of parchment

(Those new age ponies will never know what hit them )           

Copper Plate Script seems to give all documents an air of authenticity for some reason. Probably got something to do with its profound connection with regality nowadays.

Okay, never mind, I came up with something I like.

In case you're curious, I drew a pencil writing on paper and the words coming off the page and becoming the trail of a butterfly... actually, that's a bad description, so never mind. I don't know.
