Sterling awoke to the sound of beautiful birds chirping by his room as his day began. He awoke bright and early at 8:00 am in the morning; he was a day person and he loved doing most of his exciting activities in the day. He had also awoke after a scintillating dream about Corona. 'Wow... what a wonderful dream I had last night... I dreamt that Corona and I were in an exotic part of Equestria... we were lying on the beach together and I was able to approach her for a kiss... hehehehehe... If only I didn't wake up...' thought a dreamy Sterling as he jumped out of his bed for breakfast with his parents.

 

His parents noticed his giddy nature straight away; they had never seen Sterling this happy before. Both parents chuckled as Sterling talked all about his time with Corona. "I helped Corona a lot with her math homework; I finished it and she needed some help with it. Our teacher's really mean and she was nowhere near as good a teacher as you mom! She's a huge fan of the Wonderbolts, and she showed me her special talent of creating a Corona in the sky! It was amazing!" His parents giggled happily as Sterling was clearly in love with Corona. "Oh honey, remember how you first met me? It was high school remember?" "Yes... yes it was... and it looks like Sterling's meeting his special somepony in the same way... who would have thought?"

 

As the family finished their breakfast, the family decided that they would do some sightseeing around Baltimare, seeing that they didn't know much of the city yet. Sterling happily agreed; he wanted to look around town too! 'Oh I do hope I get to see Cowona today... I know I'll see her later today, but maybe she's going around town too! *squee*'

Corona flew through the air and landed in the main city streets. She started walking the streets looking around at all of the different shops. Finding her way into a shop called Tailsworht's Clothing, a nice little store that sold simple clothing to spectacular dresses and all made by the one and only Rarity. Corona looked through the clothes for a few moments before heading off down the street and finding her way to the general market while looking around she noticed Regal looking through some of the food. "Hey Regal!" Corona called out as she flew over to him. "Hey what's up Regal? Finding anything good?"

"um?" said Regal he looked up from the food and saw no one around him. he looked up and saw Corona flying.

"Oh hello Corona, No not really. i'm new to cooking..." Regal looked a little lost and sad.

"Hey um Corona would you like to help me buy food? I'm... well this is new to me" he said sadly. he bowed his head and he seemed sad

"I'm not used to this and i feel so useless right now"

Corona giggled when Regal asked her for her help. "Of course I'll help you Regal. It would be my pleasure." Corona walked from stall to stall with Regal. "Well they've got some really nice apples and watermelons. Oh this shop over hear has some delicious looking cakes."  Corona was in heaven when it came to sweets, her parents used to get her a big cake for her birthdays but with some things costing more money they soon stopped that. Corona licked her lips looking at the cake in front of her before snapping back to reality. "So Regal, what exactly are you wanting to have or eat?"

One of the first things Sterling and his family wanted to see was the famed Oriole Park at Camtrot Yards. Sterling and his father were huge baseball fans, cheering for the Manehattan Mets, but they've always taken an interest in the Baltimare Orioles because of their history. The park was an amazing sight to the family as they trotted around the outside. The brown-bricked arches, the towering lights, and the statue of Neigh Ruth! All this amazed the family as they lived out a rich part of sports history. It was unfortunate the Orioles failed to make the playoffs as Front Page and Sterling knew, but at least they walked around the stadium as the family moved on to the industrial heart of Baltimare.

"I um... i don't know..." Regal looked at some of the food. "I used to have people serve me." he sighed. "So what would you suggest that i buy" He picked up an apple and gave the store owner the bits. He took a bite.

"So what are you doing out this early? I mean it's nice to have a friend around"

Corona looked around and finally settled on something pointing to a few of the smaller watermelons. She tossed a few bits on the table and the owner cut up the melon and wrapped it up so that it would stay fresh in the slices. "If you'd like Regal my mom is a pretty good cook she can show you a few things about cooking. After all she taught me how to cook." Corona smiled as she continued down the path stopping at an ice cream shoppe. Her mouth drooled while she stared at the ice cream finally relenting to her sweet tooth. after tossing 2 bits onto the counter she came back with two ice cream cones. "Here Regal from one friend to another." Corona smiled digging into her vanilla ice cream cone.

-I must look so useless right now- Regal thought to him-self taking the Ice cream. -I hate feeling so useless- Regal shock his head and his smile return.

"Thank you the Ice cream" He took a lick and watched as Corona devoured her Ice Cream. "So sure have a sweet tooth don't you" he said smiling. "Well then i would love to learn to cook, but first i still need to decide what i should cook first"

Star Rain woke up with a start, having had a very weird dream that seemed almost like an out-of-body experience. Peculiar... but whatever... After going through the normal routine of brushing her mane, brushing her teeth, and eating breakfast, she realized how low she and her father were on groceries. He was still asleep, so she left a note saying that she was going out for groceries. Strapping on her saddlebag(which only has a single bag-thingy as opposed to two) and levitating her keys, wallet, and a book into it, she headed out of the door and into town.

Unknowingly passing Flare's home, she passed by the ice cream parlor and saw Corona there with some other pony. She decided to be friendly and talk with her. "Hey there, are you doing alright?" she asked, remembering the dramatic scene that unfolded before her yesterday.

Flare got his breakfast and was eating peacefully as his parents were already at work so when he finished eating he headed outside and headed towards the park. "Peaceful day today...nothing can mess this day up or dampen my mood" Flare said smiling as he arrived at the park.

Corona had some residual ice cream on her nose and using her tongue expertly licked it off. "Heh heh yeah it's my one and only weakness...well except for cuteness that does me in too." Corona saw Star walk up to them. "Oh hey Star, yeah thanks to Sterling." Corona smiled. "I'm just hanging with Regal right now, until later when I have chores at home to get done. Oh Star, this is Regal. Regal, this is my friend Star." Corona extended a hoof when she introduced the two ponies to each other.

As Sterling's family continued to travel across Baltimare, Sterling couldn't help but feel nostalgic about the events that occurred last night. His thoughts were still confused as he remembered the events, 'It's just amazing that Corona expressed her feelings in... such a cute way. I saw her sheepish smile and her red blush last night and it was so cute...  this is why I started to feel for her when I first met her. She looked lonely in history class and I couldn't help but approach her. I really do have to thank mom and dad for telling me how to approach mares. If it wasn't for that, I'd have never met Corona...'

Sterling's family suddenly noticed the need to restock on some groceries, so they headed to a nearby supermarket. As they shopped, they arrived at the ice cream section where Sterling suddenly saw Corona enjoying her residual ice cream with Star and Regal. Sterling couldn't help but rush to them with such excitement, to the slight ire of his parents. He rushed over and began to shout, "Hey Corona! Looks like you've made some new friends! That's awesome!"

"Hey," Star Rain simply said, doing nothing more than just raising a hoof up as a greeting. She was mildly surprised when Regal bowed to her like he was some kind of gentlecolt. His question then only served to prove it followed by him admitting that he's new to the outside world. I guess he lived a rich, sheltered life? 

 

"Well, I like drawing and reading. I also like practicing magic," she answered, proving it by spawning two orbs- one of fire and one of ice- and swirling them together until they formed the yin-yang symbol minus it being black and white. She stuck a hoof out and it floated on it until she lost her concentration from Sterling calling out to them. It then disappeared, save for a few sparks of fire and flakes of ice floating down.

Flare sat in a tree at the park and closed his eyes. "Quiet and peaceful...just like any other day" Flare said as he opened his eyes. "I wonder where Star would be at...or anypony from school fro that matter" Flare said as he stretched out his wings then looked at the sky.

Corona was in aw when she saw Star manipulating the fire and ice, and was a little disappointed when it vanished. That feeling suddenly went away when she saw Sterling come running up to them. Her heart started beating faster and faster she could feel her cheeks getting a little red already. "Y...Yeah Sterling this is Regal, and you met Star in school didn't you." Corona giggled, looking at her new friends. "Well since we're all together why don't we head to the park and throw a frisbee around or something?" Corona looked at the others staying particularly close to Sterling.

"that is impressive" Regal said. "You have to show me how to do that. I used to know a mare that could do that ice orb trick, but that fire orb was cool" Regal was impressed by this mare. -Wow she was a talent for magic. I am so jealous of her skill-

Star Rain was actually enjoying herself for once around other ponies, but there was a task she had to do at that moment and she felt she couldn't afford to procrastinate. "Sorry, but I actually have some grocery shopping to do. My place is almost devoid of food now, so yeah..."

 

Ruby was with her little clique in the park and spotted Flare up in the tree. She immediately flounced/sashayed over and flashed her lilac eyes(which had eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner on) at him. "Hey Flare! Wanna hang out with us? You know, the cool ponies?"

"food? ah yeah that's why i came here for" Regal said a little embarressed. "Um Corona i still have to finish shopping, you know we could all go shopping for food. You know so we can finish faster that way" Regal said a little red in the face. He only said it so he could spend more time with Star.

Snowdream trotted trough the town. She was pleased it was the weekend, meaning no school. However she was a bit disappointed she hadn't organised to do anything with her friends.

 

She stopped at a few shops, looking through the goods being sold, but in the end didn't buy anything.

 

soon, much to her delight she came across her friends.

 

"Hey guys!" She called, trotting over with a warm smile.

Sterling was delighted that all his friends were arriving at the same place at the grocery shop. His heart skipped a beat as well when he noticed Corona's blush. 'She's so cute when she blushes...' thought a giddy Sterling. He heard Corona suggesting they play some frisbee at the park together, and he welcomed the idea of spending more time with his friends, especially Corona. He agreed heartily, "Sure I'll join you guys at the park, but I have to tell my parents first." After rushing back to his parents to tell him what he was doing to do, his parents happily agreed, seeing this as an opportunity for Sterling to gain some social skills.

 

When Sterling came back to his friends, he saw Snowdream waving at the group too. He waved back and smiled, "Hey Snowdream, what's up? We were just going to the park to play some frisbee."

Corona thought for a second, she did need to pick up some things here in the market, plus it would give her a chance to hang out with everypony more. "Ok Regal, you've got yourself a deal. We'll all do our shopping and then meet up at the park after we take our stuff home. Corona smiled when she saw Snowdream come up to them and then giggled at Sterling's statement. "Well I need to get some stuff for mom to make dinner tonight but once I'm done we can head to the park ok. Does that sound like a plan everypony?" Corona asked as she started walking though the market trying to find good things to eat.

Sterling was happy that his parents let him hang out with his friends more, especially since he was new to Baltimare. He needed to make new friends, especially since the school had many potentially threatening ponies. Nonetheless, he couldn't just go back to his parents because they already gave him permission to hang out with his friends, so he asked Corona sheepishly, "Hey could I shop with you? My parents already let me hang out with you because they were going to finish their shopping on their own."

Corona smiled at Sterling and leaned up against him. "Of course silly I wouldn't have it any other way." With that said, Corona started walking through the stands looking for things that her mother needed. Hoping that Regal would soon follow suit as well as the others. Corona was happy to be around her friends but being with Sterling made her feel light on her feet, or it could've been the fact that she was barely flying off the ground.
