"It doesn't really get so tiring... The first few concerts can drain you horribly, but after that, it follows suit.", Percussive said, sitting down into the opposite chair, and looking back at Mel. "It's not hard to do, to be honest... Just need to acquire a good taste of strong caffeine.", he joked.

Mel laughed at Percuss' joke. "Haha! I guess I'd be terrible at that. I was never one for coffee. I think I'll stick to performing locally or just playing with friends. I can't handle all of that excitement. But I bet it's a fun time! That's for sure! So you work solo? You don't have a band?"

Benjamin started to grow a little worried at the stallions blushing. 

"Do i smell? Or is it that im scaring you? I don't mean to. I'm just trying to be friendly." He asked as he smelled himself. 

He did indeed smell a bit like dragons eye, an incense stick he used during a workout. 

"No matter, I would like to invite you and your friend into my apartment. Don't get the wrong idea, I just want to help you come out of that shell and relax." He asked as he looked at the stallion avian friend.

"Well, depends. If I get into an orchestra for about a few weeks or so, I'm in a group. Other than that, I always go solo, whether it's street performing, or something along that nature.", Percussive explained, and smiling once again at Mel. "You should definitely try it one day."

Chirp's eyes widened. He glanced around, looking for...something.

He looked back at Benjamin and didn't reply...he couldn't...he almost looked frozen. Sunny...facewinged (...?)
She hopped over to Chirp's ear and started humming. Chirp didn't do anything...he just kept looking nervously up at Benjamin.

Well, if he was going to love here for a while, then he was going to need to say hello to all of the neighbors and all... "Sure! Let's go!", Percuss exclaimed as he got up from his chair and walked over to the door. He opened it up and looked to Mel as a neighborly gesture.

Mel walked out the door, leading the way. He saw Chirp and Ben. "Howdy! Nice seein' ya again Ben and...I don't seem to have gotten your name, mister. We thought we should all get together and chat. Get to know eachother, you know? We live together afterall, so we might as well be friends!"

Stratos turned to the stallion and called back to him. "Hello! Why yes I am! I'm Stratos. I came here from Cloudesdale. It's gonna be nice to have a place of my own. I've heard good things about Mustangia. What's your name?" 

 

Stratos trotted up to him and extended a hoof to the stallion for a friendly hoofshake.

Oh no...more ponies.
Chirp took another few step's back...but didn't stop walking back. He was slowly inching his way down the balcony towards the door to his apartment.
Sunny found this rather annoying and she flew to the back of his head and started flying against him, trying to get him to go back to the group...but of course, Chirp didn't notice this...

Benjamin looked at the bird and back at the stallion.

"Is he your interpreter?" He asked. He thought that the stallion was mute or deaf and thats why he was so shy. He was about to try and get more out of the Stallion but he soon heard another voice.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea! I am in the process of attempting to hit on slash get the name of this stallion. Though, I'm pretty sure the smell from my incense sticks is either putting him off or offending him." He said hoping to get a response from the stallion, besides Mel.

Auburn reached up and shook Stratos's hoof."I'm Auburn Glaze I also moved into this building today along with a lot of other ponies. Well not with them with them like we all moved into the building today but as separate people we weren't t in some giant group." Auburn paused as he realized he was rambling. He started to blush a little, "Uh I have to go now gotta go get food ya know hahaha." Auburn bolted down the street and around the corner. Once out of stratos's line of sight he slapped himself with his hoof for being so scatterbrained today then decided to proceed on with his day and go grocery shopping. It puzzled him a little that he panicked in front of Strato's like that. He was a little prone to rambling but it normally didn't embarrass him as much as it just did.

Seeing the entourage of ponies coming down the hallway, Dusk decided it was time to leave. "That's enough socialising today..." he mumbled quietly to himself as he quickly headed down the stairs back to his apartment. He let out a breath he didn't realise he had been holding in, and placed his hoof on the door to push it open -but it wouldn't open- "Oh...no...oh dear..." he grunted as he gave a few good hard pushes to no avail.

Stratos watched in perplextion as the stallion bolted away as fast as his hooves could carry him.

 

"Now what the heck got him all riled up like that?" Stratos asked to himself. "There's plenty of time to get to know everypony once everyone is settled in, he continued, walking toward his awaiting room.

Benjamin realized he left one of his incense sticks burning in his apartment. He excused himself from the conversation and made his way back into his abode.

They all seem like nice ponies. He thought to himself as he finished the rest of his unpacking. 

Benjamin spent a good hour and a half arranging the things in his apartment. He wanted things to give off a good vibe if anypony should ever venture inside.

Benjamin put out his incense stick and walked back outside, hoping he did not miss anything.

He stumbled back and rubbed his snout but quickly stood up and opened the door. He slammed it shut and stared at his living room. A large barn owl stared at him for a minute before flying over to help him bring the groceries into the kitchen.

"It sure seemed like it. The poor fella was terrified. Maybe he's just a nervous type of pony. That's probably just it. He's shy. I gotta admit, I'm pretty shy myself, but I try my best to be friendly to everypony." Mel knocked again on Benjamin's door, awaiting a response.

After shunting his door a few more times, then practically sliding down it in defeat, Dusk snuck upstairs and peeked over the top of the steps, seeing the other ponies gathered outside. "I...um...excuse me...somepony..." he quietly tried to grab someponies attention to help him with his door.

"Ah, the smell of summer breeze...so calming."He said as he looked over the two stallions.

"Oh, hello there.Sorry i left so suddenly...i had a few things i needed to take care of." Benjamin looked around to see if the blushing stallion was still there.

"Huh, he left...i should probably shower after this."Benjamin said thinking out loud.
