This was kinda what happened behind the scenes so I could get Sterling Crimson to answer questions about himself,

Me: "C'mon Sterling... It'll be fun! People would love to know everything about you!"

Sterling: "No, no, and no! First, why would anypony want to know me? And who are these other people you speak of?"

Me: "The people part's beside the point! You've got such an amazing life to share with others! You could be an inspiration! You could answer questions about practically anything! Science, music..., even Evie..."

Sterling: "...Evie?"

Me: "Umm... yes of course! C'mon Sterling it's an amazing story to say the least! They'll love you! Besides, if no one asks questions, you don't have to answer!"

Sterling: "Well if you put it that way, I guess I... could give it a shot..."

Me: "Yay! Now go out there and answer some questions!"

So yeah, don't disappoint me and ask him some questions! He won't bite; he's a nice stallion.

EDIT: So I'm going to make this like a talkshow thing where I'm the host and Sterling's the pony you want to know about. I'm in blue font, Sterling's crimson font.

Me: Hey Sterling! You got your very first question to answer! Here, have a look! It's from someone named Budding Night!

Who is this 'Evie' and what if your Cutie Mark?

Sterling: ...............................................

'thud'

Me: Sterling? Sterling... STERLING!!

'silence'

Me: Umm... it looks like we are having some technical difficulties at this present time. Sterling fainted once he read the first question. The very first one. Be right back so I can bring him back among the living.

Enjoy some of this music! We'll be back after a short break...

----------------------Later...----------------------

Sterling: "Umm... who is... Evie you ask? Umm... well... she's a mare I met when I got stranded... on a tropical island. Yeah. I was going on a cruise, and we got shipwrecked. I heard that there was something really sharp that penetrated onto the ship, and..."

Me: "Sterling, answer the question!"

Sterling: "But I am! let me finish! Ok, Evie's real name's Evening Glory. You see, I wub her."

Me: "What was that Sterling?"

Sterling: "She's somepony I can... cuddle and kiss with all night."

Me: "Sterling I can't hear you!"

Sterling: " OK I LOVE HER! I'M HEAD OVER HOOVES FOR HER! I PROPOSED TO HER BEFORE THE VOYAGE ENDED AND WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!! HAPPY?!"

Me: "Sterling, calm down! I didn't mean to leave you flustered! We just needed to make sure everyone understood your answer is all!"

Sterling: "Oh... sorry. I thought you were bothering me again, like you always do when it comes to Evie..."

Me: "Oh, sorry about all that. I just found it cute that's all. Now, how about the other question?"

Sterling: "Oh right! Umm my cutie mark is a syringe and a music note. I love all things with medicine and music, so that explains that right?"

Evening Glory, huh? Sounds familiar, VERY familiar...

a Music Note and a Syringe? Wow. Sounds interesting. So, Syringe would be good at medical things obviously, but a music note? What are you good at playing? Are you a singer? If so, who do you sound like?

"Hey Sterling, this person seems to take a very large interest in you! Maybe there's a reason behind it ladies and gents! wink.png  Well Sterling, here's your next question!"

"Oh the music note? Well... I'm great at the piano and violin actually. I love playing by ear and playing all sorts of classical and Broadhay music, kinda like Octavia. Me? Sing? Well I'm not that good of a singer... well maybe I sing like Sineightra, but I don't want to say..."

"Umm... Sterling? tone and enunciation?"

"Huh... I don't like to talk about my singing. I'd much rather just leave it private ok?"

"Fine, fine, whatever pleases you..."

Me: "Sterling, make this good! Budding really wants to know you more! Hehe, I personally like this question." 'giggles in background'

Its so cute that you proposed to your love. Are you thinking of having any kids? wink.png

Sterling: "Kids... Kids... Kids... 'imagines little fillies and colts cuddling him and Evening at their house in Manehattan.'"

Me: "Sterling... Equestria to Sterling... Come in Sterling..."

Sterling: "HUH?! Oh, sorry! 'face turns bright red' Umm... kids... I'd love to have some. So cute... so cuddly... so sweet... hehehe..."

Me: "I think Sterling's in la-la land now. It's safe to say he'd love to have kids."

Sterling! It's been a really long time since we started this thread, but you got yourself another question!

What's your affliction good evil or neutral

Umm... what's an affliction?

Ummm it's one of those alignment things if you've heard of it.

Oh that... I've read about it, but I honestly don't know much on it. Based on what I read, I guess you could say I'm a Lawful Good. Even though I get really nervous doing something good, I really do feel I should do it. Plus, I hate it when evil ponies go unpunished; where's the justice in that? Other than that, I'm not too sure... it's not something I've ever considered...

Hello there Sterling! I have the strangest feeling I've heard of you before... wink.png

Anyway, my question: What is your fondest memory when you were studying at the University of Manehattan? Also, what sparked the interest that drove you to the medical profession?

Hi ho Sterling! Your ask thread is finally picking up speed! Let's hope it continues!

I think not. I hate having to answer these questions in front of strangers...

But this person is by no means a stranger Sterling! Read his question:

What is your fondest memory when you were studying at the University of Manehattan?

Oh... my fondest memory in Manehattan? Well I didn't have too many unfortunately. A lot of ponies made fun of me for being too eccentric and too smart for my own good. It left me really sad. Still, there was this one time where I played on the piano for a recital in Manehattan while I was still in medical school. It was at Carneighie Hall... Everypony in the University of Manehattan billed me as a prodigy... All the music critics were there and they were ready to attack my performance at a moment's notice... But after I played, they were all shocked at the musicality I expressed, and everypony gave me a standing ovation... That was a great moment to remember... My parents were so proud of me...

Wow Sterling I didn't know about this! See you had some good memories in Manehattan! You were telling me you had none!

"Where are the questions Paul? I'm in the mood for answering more questions!"

"Now that I'm not sure about yet Sterling. We'll find some way to get questions here, even if it means I have to bump this thread!"

*Sterling runs away like a pansy*

"Umm... I don't think Sterling ever wants to consider dating ever again... He's already had enough dating in one lifetime. After all, he's married. If the questions is directed at me, then I'd have to ask what a double date is like because I've never understood the point of a single date."

Sterling! It's been awhile! Red Talon here, how have you been! Been busy with my races on the NASCOLT circuit, but I was wondering, by any chance, if you were related to retired NASCOLT racer Sterling Marelin? I figured you might know him since you've got a similar name to him and all. Anywho, glad to hear that things are going well with you and Evie! It's almost like fate brought us together on that cruise. May Celestia bless those souls that lost their lives, though. *sigh* Wish things could have gone better with me and Neon.

"Sterling! It's your old buddy Red! He wants to know about you!"

"W-W-What? It's been so long since I've been back here... Hey Red! Things have been great with me and Evie! And yes... I hope you find a wonderful mare to be with Red! I think there's one underneath your nose...

Anywho, I'm not related to Sterling Marelin. My dad, Front Page, just loved NASCOLT so much and decided that Sterling was a great first name for me, so he gave it as such. I find it to be perfectly fit for a stallion too, so I'm fine with it being inspired by Sterling Marelin".

I've had the pleasure of meeting Sterling Marelin, and he's a great pony. I can easily see why your father named you after him! I never knew your dad was a fan of NASCOLT, let alone named you after a NASCOLT racer. I still miss Bale Earnhardt, though.

Right underneath my nose, you say? Well... in all honesty, I am at loss at who that could be. Mares like Neon are hard to come across, these days.
