Minath laughed and shook her head, getting up after the small explosion, not quiet unscathed, but her chest was one of the most protected parts of her armor. She trotted over to Thunder and stretched out her hoof.

 

"Draw?" She said, cracking a smile. Battling him was fun, she would have to do it again sometime.

Rambler shrugged. "Oh, those flames couldn't have killed you. They probably wouldn't have done anything more than singe your eyebrows. I just wanted to see if it would work." Rambler looked around him as Diamond seemed to have disappeared. "I don't see what the point of hiding is." 

 

Diamond laughed...but her voice seemed to be coming from...several different places. "Pretty simple...the element of surprise." She said.

When she finished speaking she moved behind Rambler and condensed into her solid form. She held out her hoof and a smoke tendril shot from it directly at Ramblers back legs. If it hits its target it would throw Rambler out of the smoke cloud...not hard enough to hurt him, just enough to get him out of the cloud.

Rambler took a swig from his flask and braced himself for an attack from any direction just before the smoke made impact. It hit hard enough to knock him out of the cloud, but he was able to remain on his feet. "Surprise doesn't matter if you don't pack enough of a punch to capitalize on it." He charged her directly and swung his foreleg at her in an awkward roundhouse with all the grace of a drunken brawler.

Thunder raised a brow. Wondering if this was a trick or something. But he shrugged, he didn't care if it was a trick or not. So he shook her hoof. "Um......ok....well that was fun, hope I get to spat with you again sometime, it was a challenge" he said with a bright smile.

Forest only smiled as he look at his fellow guild members fighting.

"Looks like they are having fun. My turn" he said with a smile. Using his magic he stood on his back hooves, his green coat became black, his hooves became claws, his head catlike in nature. He was now a panther with wings. Forest didn't have a wide range of beast to choose from like others, but this was one of his best forms.  -Oh one last thing- Forest had strained himself the last time he did this, but he now he want to try again. Slowly he forced his mouth to take a snake-like tongue.

Sticking his tongue he tasted the air around "alright now I'm ready" Moving as fast as he could in his new form he reach the others quickly.

Thunder looked at the panther....thing. He then tilted his head "um....I still do,...we could spar if you like" said thunder a little shyly. Though he did admire his appearance, with the whole panther form, he thought it was pretty cool. Then he saw the snake tongue. And tilted his head.

Strangely enough, Rambler's attack hit Diamond in the side. Diamond was quite surprised considering she was still in the cloud of smoke.

She was knocked to the ground and slid a few feet away. She mumbled something as she stood up and brushed herself off...then she noticed her Cigarette was gone...again. "Okay...that's it." She muttered. The smoke cloud condensed into four long tendrils. Two went to her front hooves and the other went to the tips of her wings as she flew up into the air a few feet. Without a second thought, all four of the tendrils shot at Rambler, all of them going for his hooves as smoke flew from Diamonds nose.

Strangely enough, Rambler's attack hit Diamond in the side. Diamond was quite surprised considering she was still in the cloud of smoke.

After sticking it to the end of the cigarette holder, she lit it using her magic and smiled as the smoke around her hooves and wings disappeared. "That was fun...but I think that's enough for today. Rambler nodded in respect to a worthy opponent before taking yet another drink from his ever-present flask. "Me? My name's Rambler. That's kind of an important thing to remember if we're going to be competing on the same team."

She blew a few smoke rings into the air before speaking again. "So...lunch is on me. Anypony want to join?" She asked, looking at Rambler then looking around the training grounds.

"Alright then" Forest leaped back away from Thunder and crouched ready to leap at him. Just as he was about to attack, he heard Diamond talk about lunch. As much as Forest wanted to fight, he couldn't pass up a free meal.

"Um hey, Let's hold off until after lunch" He let go of his animal form and returned to being a pegasus.

Diamond looked up and nodded. "Of course you can." She said, smiling. "Now...let's hope I get this right. You're name is...Forest Wind...correct?" She asked, puffing on her cigarette. "I usually just keep to myself, reading and such...so I am not that great at remembering ponies names...which is strange since I could probably recite a whole book on the spot...of course it all depends on what book." She chuckled. "I'm rambling...sorry."

She took a puff from her cigarette before speaking again. "So...what'll it be you two?" She asked, absentmindedly making the smoke from her Cigarette morph into the shape of a heart...then a star...then a skull.

Thunder followed the group. He then noticed the other new ponies. One of which was smoking a cigarette. He kept his mouth shut just in case he said something stupid. But he was always quiet as it is, so it made no difference. He flicked his hair to cover his right eye like his normal appearence

Lycan grinned as he walked over to the group, "wow....that was a lot of cool fights! Maybe after lunch we can sparr more, who wants to sparr with me next? Minath? Rambler? How about you smokey? I'm feeling pretty damn good!" Said lycan as he used his emergency ipod and began to shuffle and nodd slightly to the beat.

Minath jumped at the mention of her name, then came back to the present.

 

"Huh? Oh, uh sure. I guess like a sandwich or something. Doesn't really matter." Minath was kinda zoned, and then she saw Thunder all by his lonesome. She walked over to him.

"Hey Thunder! You grabbing a bite with us?"

 

((By the way, now Minath is going to go out of her way to be friendly with Thunder. She's just like that.))

Thunder jumped up a little, he didn't notice she walked over to him, "o-oh... Um s-sure, yeah I'd like to" he said in a somewhat quiet voice. He felt like he didn't belong to the group anyways, he felt like the follower of the group, the one that's just there with no meaning.

 

(Yeah, lol every group needs one of those kinds)

Minath smiled. "That's great! It would be way more boring without you there!" Minath said happily. She decided at some point that she would take Thunder out of his shell, even if just alittle bit. Minath could relate to Thunder though, but once she felt comfortable with a pony she's more socialable.

"Must get stronger..." sole muttered, as he did more pushups "must surpass them all, become the best!" He growled, as he suddenly shot into the air, doing laps in the sky "I'm never gonna get stronger at this rate..." he murmured in frustration, as he landed and picked up a large dumbell and began to bench it. "Dammit!" He growled, as he dropped the dumbell in pain from his back. With a sigh, he began to do more laps "I'll win these damn games, for fairy tail."

Thunder smiled a little bit. "Th-thanks" he said with a bit more happiness that could be noticed. He didn't mind her being around now, he felt a little more comfortable around minath, the only other person he knew, and could talk to in the group was sole, but he wasn't to found of the energetic hot head.

"Don't mention it, you're a cool dude." Minath said, smiling. 'With all these Eletric magic users I might need to craft Thunder Empress Armor. Would care to help me with that sometime?" Minath asked. Minath needed someone to shock her while she was wearing it, and sticking her hoof in a electrical socket might not do the trick.

Thunder blushed a bit when she commented on him, he then hesitated before speaking "um...sure, but what does it do...can it use the lightning, reflect it, or just defend from it" he asked trying to understand a empress armor. He didn't know much about armor and weapons.
