Fire shrugged. "Alrighty." She said, finishing her food and standing up. "So could you do me a favor and remind me who is on which team now?" She asked. "Also, I arrived pretty late last night...did I miss anything yesterday? Or was it all just training and stuff?" That's when she noticed Rambler walking off out of the inn. She sighed and followed behind him...and some other mare.

Minath laughed at Rambler calling Iron a b****. It was truth, and hearing Rambler say it made it all the more funny.

"Me either. I can't wait to see if we're against the other half of Fairy Tail. I might get to beat up Minath, and you could beat up your brother. Sounds fun, doesn't it?" Iron said to Flint.

Rambler noticed Fire following after him. "Oh, I'm sorry! I was distracted by Minath and I forgot I was talking to you. She tends to have that kind of affect on me," he said, nuzzling his marefriend. "Like I said before, factoring in the change we just made, the members for Team A are- Minath Watcher, Sole, you, Diamond, and myself. Team B will be- Thunder, Lycan, Flint, Iron Quill, and Regal. And you didn't really miss anything important last night. A bit of drama and a few fights, but that's to be expected with this guild."

 

 

((When are you going to post the brackets?))

 

((That's not how the tournament works. It's based on points earned from both battles and various challenges. I guess you could say it's more of a league system. It'll make more sense once we get into it. By the way, I think I may have mentioned this already, but the games go on for five days, and the last day is a free-for-all grand melee between all the teams.))

 

Flint laughed. "I guess when you put it that way, it does sound like fun."

Regal looked around the town see what they had. Finding a book about runes he tossed it back at the owner. 

"This book is misprinted. Anypony that would use this book would get themselves killed" Regal stepped away from store in rage.

"Well the sooner the Games began the better"

Fire raised an eyebrow. "I thought Sole switched teams...but it was Flint instead? Lemme guess...those two don't get along too well do they?" She shrugged. "Either way, it's not my business. So, Minath...what kinda magic do you use?" She asked.
She knew a little bit about these ponies, but never interacted with them...she kept to herself mostly.

Minath was surprised Fire talked to her. They had never talked, but she knew alittle about the pony.

 

"I use requip magic. I'm pretty fast and pretty skilled, but not the best." Her wings fluttered like they often did when she was nervous. "What kind of magic do you use?"

((I didn't design the tournament. Blame the writers of Fairy Tail. Anyway, it should still be interesting, trust me.))

 

Rambler couldn't help but smile. Minath was just so cute when she blushed. He pulled her close and nuzzled her again as they continued their walk towards the arena.

Flint grinned. "Well, even if our magic isn't exactly the same, we certainly made a great pair last night. And you definitely are hot, in more ways than one."

 

((By this point, one might get the feeling Flint isn't very bright, or perhaps that he has a one track mind. One would be correct.))

 

((Oh, and you just got Fire Sky's two character's confused. You're not talking to Diamond. Mission accomplished.))

Fire nodded. "That's cool. I use elemental whips. Using my magic, I can use any element around me and morph it into the shape of a whip. I usually use fire, but it is quite handy when I am fighting another wizard. I gotta admit its funny seeing their expressions when their magic is used against them." She couldn't help but chuckle.

Minath nuzzled Rambler back, and heard somepony off in the distance yell "get a room!" and Minath turned scarlet.

Iron smirked at what Flint said.

 

"Yeah, I know" Iron said, flipping her mane over her shoulder. "You weren't too bad yourself, either"

Rambler noticed her blushing "Oh buck them," he said, kissing her. They continued walking and soon arrived at the arena.

Flint chuckled. "You think so? Well, I do my best to please. And I suppose I've certainly had plenty of practice. I think you're probably the best I've ever had, though. And that's saying something, believe me."

Thunder looked at the arena. It was rhe same as always. Though he wasn't sure how this might turn out for him. It could be bad or possibly good. But good is what he was rooting for. He followed the group and was waiting for the fights to begin. It was all that was on his mind.

Sole rolled his eyes as he spotted the others "finally, I've been waiting forever!" He said in annoyance "now let's get in there and kick some ass in the name of fairy tail!" He said happily, until he noticed thunder. "Hey thunder, you okay?" He asked seriously "you look nervous..." he mumbled.

Lycan grinned as they arraived at the arena, "finally! Hey diamond, what do you say, you wanna spar? I'm feeling pretty damn good! Trust me..." said lycan with a chuckle as he jumped into the arena and got into fighting position, but held up a hoof, "WAIT!! I almost forgot..." said lycan before digging into his jacket pocket and pulling out his i-pod, turning on some rock music and putting his headphones in, lycan grinned, "ok, now let's go!" Said lycan.

She sighed and shook her head. *Couples are weird.* She thought to herself.

Diamond casually stepped into the ring as she lit another cigarette. "Don't you think listening to music will get in the way of things? Not being able to hear..." She shrugged and a thin cloud of smoke slowly appeared around her body. "Ready when you are." She said, casually.

"That's actually pretty cool." Minath's wings twitched. "But, uh, could you avoid using fire around me?" Minath hoped she sounded calm.

Lycan grinned, "its not a problem for me, I'm a sound dragon slayer remember? I can take in multipal sounds and hear them at once, and use them how I please.....like this for instance!" Said lycan, before holding up his hoof and sending a large soundwave at diamond.

As Lycan held up his hoof, Diamond turned into her smoke form.

She swirled around so she was behind Lycan and became solid again before quickly sending a large column of smoke at the back of his head, making it thick to hurt...but nothing that would effect him in the long run.

"I'm perfectly okay with fire, it's fire magic I don't like. I had a... unpleasant run-in with a fire user when I was younger, maybe 10 years ago.... but the effects were visible." Minath said, and gestured to her scars on her legs.

Diamond sighed and and surrounded her body in a thick shield of smoke, blocking the attack. A moment later she sent the smoke so it surrounded both her and Lycan. She then held up her hoof and sent another column of smoke at Lycan.
