Iron gave Sole a questioning look, and was about to say something before she was cut off by the announcement.

 

"Do you want to walk to the gates with me?" She asked Sole.

 

"Oh, and I'm breaking up with Flint. More likely than not after our first fight. Then we can chill together, right?"

sole was happy when he heard the announcment, but his happyness disapeared when iron mentioned breaking hp with flint "just like that?" He mumbled quietly "just use him and leave?" "Well, yeah. I just wanted to mess with Minath and Rambler. It's not like either of us expected something emotional out of this. I need time to like somepony, see them as a friend and then have them escalate. If I care enough to make them my friend first, then that means if I do get with them it means something."

 

Iron smiled as the gate came into view.

Iron cocked her head.

 

"Well, yeah. I just wanted to mess with Minath and Rambler. It's not like either of us expected something emotional out of this. Iron smiled as the gate came into view.

sole sighed as he saw the gates, he wished he could believe her... but she was a really good liar. "Well, flint and you seemed really "friendly" this morning..." he mumbled under his breath "now, e need to find our teams... and I don't know if hanging out afterwards is such a good idea... I need to concentrate."

"Oh, uh, sure. See ya' around, I guess." Iron said, then walked off, her brow furrowed. What the heck was that about? Of course herself and Flint seemed 'friendly', considering what they did the night before.... Why was Sole freaking out about it...?

 

Then it dawned on her.

 

Sole liked her. He flipped out when he saw Flint in her room. He seemed to be ignoring her. He switched teams. He seemed hostile to Flint. Holy Faust!

"Oh, uh, sure. See ya' around, I guess." Iron said, then walked off, her brow furrowed. What the heck was that about? Of course herself and Flint seemed 'friendly', considering what they did the night before.... Why was Sole freaking out about it...?

Regal arrived to the arena late, but manged to see Iron and Sole's little display. Regal could not help, but laugh.

"Sole you should be careful who you fall for. Plus you aren't good at hiding it"

Turning around Regal watched as the two teams began to form.

"I Guess i'll make do. I'll have to be the Ace in the hole for my team" Regal said arrogantly.

sole kept a blank, neutral expression until iron walked away, he the walked over to the nearest wall and began to slam his head into it "stupid *thud* stupid *thud* stupid! *crack!*" he soon felt blood drip into his eye "great, just what I need, a concussion." He said in annoyance, as he walked to meet his team.

Thunder followed sole, and over heard what the conversation with iron. 'Oh....jeez' he thought to himself. He then proceeded to watch sole repeatedly smash his head off of a wall. Thunder tilted his head trying to get a better look of soles expression "um....you know...if you want to beat yourself up, you have me to do that for you?" He said sarcastically.

Regal arrived to the arena late, but manged to see Iron and Sole's little display. Regal could not help, but laugh.

He said with a glare "now... let's find our teams... and if you say anything... I'll shove electricity so far up your ass you'll be able to to pick up cable." Thunder kinda took a step back. He then shook his head, and went to where his group was supposed to form up. He sighed "this....this is going to be a bloody mess, non of the teams are cooperative, and hat to be talked to...specially that pain guy.. I am not going to get along with him" said thunder to himself.

Lycan smirked and turned into sound waves, causing the spikes to pass through him, lycan smirked, "I'm such an idiot for, not doing that in the first place.....but whatever, I think that's enough training for today...." said lycan before becoming tangible once more and rubbing the back of his head as he saw her bloody nose, and blushed, "I'm sorry for hurting you like that....I wouldn't blame you for being mad at me..." said lycan quitely.

 

Diamond wiped the blood away from her nose again. "Bloody noses happen, I wouldn't be mad at you for that. I am a little ticked off that you used an attack that could kill me. But nothing happened, so I will just let it slip." She said, walking to the edge of the training grounds to grab her bag.

Fire was staring at the amazing building around her, doing her best not to walk into busy ponies. The arena was amazing...but sadly, she accidentally bumped into someone.

She looked away from a large nearby statue to see a griffon...who she had seen around Fairy Tail. "Oh...sorry...I um...was, just...looking at the statues." She said, taking a few steps back from the griffon.

The cigarette butt burned up as Diamond pulled out a fresh cigarette and lit it.

 

 

sole nodded "yeah, I think your right..." he said slowly, as he turned to her "well, since we're apart of the same unstopable guild, let's go find the others." He said quickly, trying to sound upbeat "I think they'll be happy to know we've already met, c'mon let's go." He said as he walked away, motioning for her to follow.

sole smiled sheepishly and shrugged "oh... this?" He said quickly, wiping more blood away "I uh, lost a fight with a wall... don't worry about it... I'm fine." He said cheerfully "the worst it does is get blood in my eyes." Hesa, turning around and looking for the others "so, where's everyone else?" He asked.

She pulled the dapper out of it's sheath and layed the flat against Sole's forhead where the blood was dripping. She waited afew seconds and then pulled the dagger away, leaving the wound closed completely.

sole flinched in suspicion as she put the knife on his head "what are yo-" he quickly stopped as the wound healed and smiled "wow... thanks minath, I owe you one..." he said happily, as he felt the spot where the wound was "at least that's out of the way..." he said quietly, as he sat down.

"No problem! I've been meaning to try it out, I actually had no idea if it would work. You can repay me by whooping butt in the fights!" Minath said happily, glad that her new armor actually worked. She built it off of a theory, and was thankful it worked. It might come in handy later.

Flint looked over at Iron and shrugged. "Well... I'm here. And I thought I saw Regal a little ways off. Thunder should be here somewhere. I haven't even met this 'Lycan' yet, though.

Fire watched as Minath healed Sole's wound. "That's cool...must be handy in a fight." She smiled and looked at Rambler. "I think she said something about training back at the inn...she'll probably be here soon." She said.

Diamond shook her head. "No, we're late because we were training. I don't know why you think it's your fault. Anyway, catch you later, Lycan." She smiled at him and trotted off to meet up with her team.

"Hello everypony, sorry I'm late. I was training." She said. She did a good job of keeping this hidden...but she felt a pang in her chest when she saw Sole...what was he doing here? *I thought he was changing teams...* She thought to herself.
