"Ah you guys waiting on me" Regal said as he walked in on the group "Sorry I kept you waiting" 

Regal turned and faced Iron.

"Iron I must ask you that we speak in private" Regal lowered his voice and got closer to Iron.

"You remind me of a succubus, so let me say this. I find you're talents useful and I enjoy watching you play at the heartstrings of stallions, but be careful. I don't like to see my acquaintance get hurt." Regal pulled away from Iron and stood waiting for the games to begin.

I don't know why you think it's your fault. Anyway, catch you later, Lycan." She smiled at him and trotted off to meet up with her team."Hello everypony, sorry I'm late. I was training." She said. She did a good job of keeping this hidden...but she felt a pang in her chest when she saw Sole...what was he doing here? *I thought he was changing teams...* She thought to herself.

sole's smile lessened when diamond walked up. He noticed her expression change as she spotted him "ugh, c'mon diamond,iit was just a few cigaretts, I said I was sorry!" He said with a sigh "and besides, you've got a lot more. I know we started off on the wrong hoof, but i'd rather you not hate me." He said honestly.

Thunder saw his group was forming. So he decided to walk over to them. "So this is....our group" he said with a hint of confusion. "We missing any pony or is this it" he asked iron and flint. Thunder was trying to talk as much as he could to get to know the group, it was a attempt at least.

Diamond found it quite amazing that Sole somehow knew what she was feeling...but ignored that and replied. "You did apologize, then, after I told you not too, you proceeded to call me Smokey. Not really a big deal, but its not the first time you deliberately did something just to annoy me, It was overly obvious that that was your intent. I accept your apology but if you piss me off just for the sake of pissing me off again, I won't be as easy on you. Got It?" She said, giving Sole a very serious glare.

Diamond found it quite amazing that Sole somehow knew what she was feeling...but ignored that and replied. "You did apologize, then, after I told you not too, you proceeded to call me Smokey. Fire remained quiet as Diamond spoke...she sounded like a rather uptight mare.

Sole glared back at her, before sighing in defeat "fine, whatever, still like smokey more. But its your name I guess." He suddenly smiled "besides, even if we don't get along, I'm pretty sure our magic would make a good combo." He said excitedly.

Flint shook his head. "We're still waiting on Lycan. I wonder what's taking him so long."

 

Lycan panted as he reached the gate, and smiled sheepishly at his fellow guildmembers, "sorry I'm late guys! Me and diamond were at the arena sparring, and I kinda lost track of time! When do the games start? I'm ready to kick some ass for the home team!" Said lycan excitdly.

sole grinned happily "oh hell yeah!" He said with excitement "fairy tail is gonna dominate the games this year" he ran toward the gates "let's go guys, I can't wait to kick some ass and bring home that trophy!" He paused and thought for a moment "they do have trophies right?" He asked.

Finally, the announcer arrived at the final two teams. "Fairy Team A team!" Rambler walked out, gesturing for the others to follow. Once the whole team had entered the arena, the announcer moved on. "And, last but not least, Fairy Tail B team!" Flint led his team out into the arena.

 

Some of the more petty wizards from other teams might have been rather frustrated to notice that Fairy Tail's teams received by far the most applause.

sole waved at the crowd happily "yeah, this is gonna be so awsome!" He said with excjtement, as he looked around at the other guilds "a lot of them look strong, I can't wait to fight them! I'm getting all fired up!" He said happily.

Lycan looked around at the large crowd with indifference, "tch, I'm not accepting applause until I actually win a round in these games myself...." said lycan quitely before taking out his i-pod before putting his headphones in and drowning out the crowd with his music.

Regal had a smile on his face as the crowds cheered for them. All the cheering made Regal feel bold and careless.

Moving his way to the front of his group Regal bowed and said "All Hail Me!" Regal just had to do it.

Diamond shrugged in response to Sole before she followed Rambler out into the arena battle grounds and gave a simple small nod as their team was called.

Thunder kept quiet as everyone was cheering. He didn't like the heavy attention that he was getting from the crowd. So he kept his head down low trying not to show his face. He didn't even want to look at the other wizards that where they're, but he was bound to meet one of them, on bad terms.

After the audience has begun to quiet down, the games' pumpkin-headed host/mascot came out onto the field. "Welcome everyone to the Grand Magic Games! As I'm sure you all know, the eight teams you see before you represent some of Fiore's best guilds, here to compete for the title of #1 guild-kabo*. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the rules, a brief rundown: for the first four days of the tournament, there will be a challenge on each day, followed by a round of battles. On the fifth and final day, there will be a grand melee in which all of the wizards from each team will participate-kabo. For each challenge, the teams will choose one wizard to send to compete, and points will be awarded based on the place in which they finish. The details about the challenges will not be revealed until the contestants have been determined. For the battles, each team will have a wizard randomly selected, and they will do battle with an opponent from a predetermined guild. The winner will receive ten points, the loser zero. In the event of a draw, each team will be awarded five points-kabo. Now, without further ado, let us begin the first challenge- Labyrinth! Teams, please choose your representative."

 

((You guys can actually discuss who you want to send. If you don't come to a decision, I'll pick randomly. Oh, and the dice rolling system is going to be used from this point on to determine battles and the like.))

 

((For those of you who aren't familiar with the games as they played out in the series, the host randomly adds kabo to the last word of his sentences sometimes. I don't think it's ever explained why.))

Diamond...and Fire shook their heads. "It's nice that Rambler got us together sweetie...but we cant choose him for bringing us together...we need to choose him, or somepony else, for their skill in this particular battle." She said.

 

Fire shrugged. "My whips won't be all that good in a labyrinth. Lots of corners...tight spaces." She said.

"Okay, so Fire doesn't want to go in... anypony want to volunteer, or nominate somepony? I'm sure any of us would want to go in, for the glory of Fairy Tail and our team..." Minath said. She didn't want to admit that she actually wanted to go in, not when someone more qualified could go.

Rambler shook his head. "I'm flattered and all, but the challenge is called Labyrinth, which sounds like it's probably some kind of maze. That's not really my kind of thing. Of course, I'll go if nobody else wants to. Fire Sky, you certainly seem enthusiastic about being here, maybe you should do it."

Several guilds had already announced their competitors, the announcer calling them out as they stepped forward. "From Lamia Scale A Team, Blitzkrieg!" A large light blue stallion stepped forward to thundering applause. Blitzkrieg had proved to be a crowd favorite and one of Lamia Scale's best in the previous year's games. "From Dragon heart, Frostbite!" Dragon heart was still a little known guild, and as a result there was little applause for the young, pale white stallion. "From Manticore Fang, Scout!" As a young mare stepped forward, the crowd applauded moderately, but seemed more confused than anything. The frail-looking mare seemed to be scarcely out of foalhood- what good could she be in this tournament?

Fire raised an eyebrow. "Did you not hear my reason? I would effing love to kick some ass in there...but if we want to win, my whips can sometimes get a little difficult to use in tight spaces." She said, a little annoyed that everypony just kinda ignored her reason. "If you want me too, I totally will, just saying that I may not be all that fantastic...meaning I could loose. And that's not to say that I am a bad fighter, I just know when and where to fight." She said.

 

 

Diamond shrugged. "I'll do it. If the goal is getting to the center or something like that I can easily whiz past the rest of the ponies in my smoke form...I wouldn't even have to fight, not saying that I wont fight...gotta give the crowd what they want." She chuckled.

"Diamond, that's actually really smart. In your smoke form, how fast do you think you can go?" Then realizing that she took charge where she may not be wanted, she added "Oh! I'm sorry if me taking charge like this isn't wanted,  I'll pass the reins to someone else if that's what you guys want." Minath blushed.

Thunder sat there keeping his mouth shut. He didn't want to speak his mind. He knew Lycan would be the best choice here for this one in particular, because of his range. Thunder was more suited for something with speed. Due to him being the fastest one in the group.

Sole was quiet for a while, deep in thought, before shrugging "ah what the hell, I'll do it!" He said confidently, walking up to the group "I'm fast, and in my lightning form I'm really fast." He turned to diamond "'i'd say its a tossup between me and you, we had better choose quickly!"

Two more teams chose their representatives. "From Blue Pegasus, Mason!" A large (and in blue pegasus tradition, incredibly handsome) brown stallion stepped forward. "From Lamia Scale B Team, Torrent!" A slender mare with a dark blue coat emerged from the group.
