((I won't be on much for a few days, sorry Alex, just please don't kick me out of the rp...))

 

((In that case, I think it's best if I just end the battle here. Sorry to make it so short, but I want to keep things moving.)) 

 

Surprisingly, the lullaby seems to strike a very strong emotional cord for Torrent, and suddenly the sky clears up as she seems to calm down and eventually lapse into a sort of stupor, standing there smiling to the music and doing nothing to fight. After a few minutes of this, the host decides the fight is over. "And the winner of today's final battle: Lycan, of Fairy Tail B Team!" Upon hearing this, Torrent seems to snap back to reality and blushes fiercely. "Um... I really don't know what just happened. I guess you win, though."

Anyway, it's been fun, but I've gotta get going, the new album by three neighs grace just came out and I've gotta hurry and go buy it, see ya!" Said lycan before walking out of the arena.

Diamond walked out from the battle grounds and down the hall towards the arena exit.
She was a little upset no pony wanted to join her...considering she just won the first battle for their team...but it wasn't a big deal.

Fire clapped her hooves together as the battle ended...but didn't seem all that enthusiastic.
A moment later she stood up and stretched. "Hey, Rambler...do you have any idea who it is who will be fighting today? Because I was thinking of getting something to eat." She said.

Thought lycan as he walked out of the arena grounds to get something to eat, but paused as he noticed diamond walking nearby, he then grinned before walking over to her, "why are you all alone out here? You won, you should be celebrating with the others right now.." Said lycan.

So either I completely misunderstand what you're saying, or you just posted something which would have only made sense about ten pages ago. No offense. But now that I think about it, I'm just going to go with it.))

 

Rambler gave Fire a strange look. "Um... that was the last fight. The tournament is over for the day. If you want to get something to eat, there's nothing stopping you."

Fire nodded. "I didn't know that. Been a little distracted." She said, blushing slightly. "Anyway...I'm off...to eat...something." She said, walking out of the battle grounds then out into the city...making her way back to the inn.

Regal had all the info he needed and wanted. He closed his book and put it away, sighing he looked around. Again that thought crossed his mind. Shaking his head he tried to suppress the thought.

"Such thoughts as that won't help me for anything" Regal said his mind seemed to be going aching with the effect of the runes he recklessly used up. Regal got up from his seat and started for the exit. He needed to talk to Rambler about something, but that could wait.

He saw Diamond and Lycan talking near the exit of the arena. He walked passed them without saying a word. He wanted to say something to Diamond, but she was busy and most likely didn't want to talk to him. He would deal with it later. Regal was off to find something to eat.

Lycan grinned, "well you may not like parties or anything like that, but you should at least celebrate your victory with sompony, right? So why don't I be your victory party? We can both go celebrate our wins over lunch, what do you say?" Asked lycan with a warm smile.

Diamond raised an eyebrow. "Ooookaaaay..." She said, giving Lycan a suspicious look, ignoring Regal as he walked by. "Lunch sounds good..." She said, still a little suspicious... "Where were you thinking of going?" She asked. *He better not be thinking this is a date.* She thought, brushing her mane out of her eyes as she lit another cigarette.

Rambler rolled his eyes. "Good to know you're really giving the games you're full attention. Anyway, go ahead and do whatever you want, but try to be back at the hotel by midnight, okay? And try to stay out of trouble. This city can be dangerous at night."

As soon as Regal was outside, runes began to flow out of him. He dispersed into the air as runes. He reformed in front of the Inn. walking inside The inn was mostly empty, that made sense, almost every one was at the arena, and the events only ended a little awhile  ago. Regal sat down and ordered a cold glass of water. Peace was nice and all, too bad once the others come this peace will be shattered.

Lycan grinned, "I don't really care where we eat, anywhere is good, I'll eat almost any food, except for fish! I hate fish food! Don't ask me why I just do..." Said lycan with a shiver, "she probably doesn't see this as a date...does she?" Thought lycan As he walked beside diamond.

 

Diamond was wondering what Lycan meant by fish considering ponies didn't eat meat...nothing came to mind.

She just pushed the thought away and kept walking. "So...does that mean you want to walk back to the inn?" She asked.

 

 

Fire made her way into the inn and ordered some food in the lounge before falling down onto a couch and groaning.

Regal had enjoyed the peace while it lasted. Regal looked over at Fire as she laid on the couch and groaning. He had all the info he wanted on her magic and how to deal with it, so he really had no reason why to speak to her. Still maybe some company could be nice ever once an awhile. He thought it over.

Minath smiled when she was confident Fire had walked away.

 

"Does this mean I can collect on my interest? After all, I feel particularly greedy today..." Minath said, and started the trail of kisses up Rambler's neck once again.

Fire walked back to the inn, wondering what she was going to do. Flint was MIA and Sole was still freaking out. She sat down in the lounge and waited for something interesting to happen.

Sole sighed tiredly as he arrived back at the inn. He had been walking around the city for a while, but it didn't really help clear his head. With a yawn, he walked passed everypony in his guild without notice "gonna go sleep..." He mumbled, as he made his way upstairs and to his room.

Rambler laughed. "Well, I'm not about to say no to that. I was thinking we might want to head back to our hotel room first, but I guess if you really can't wait..." He pulled out his flask and held it out for her to take. "Right here is just fine by me. And I think it's going to take quite a bit to pay off all that interest."

Eventually, Flint ended up back at the hotel. He found Iron and sat down next to her. "So... that was quite a day, huh?"

Minath took the flask and drank deeply.

 

"No, we need to go to the hotel room. I like the bed in there." Minath said.

"Yeah, it was pretty fun." She said, and then smirked. In her head she replayed the whole scene with Sole, and it still was funny. Although she wasn't lying about the part where she said he was fun to talk to, and not just for her succubus-like reasons.

Fire smiled. "Just bored." She said, sitting up straight and stretching. "The fights and stuff today were pretty cool...but I was a little upset I didn't get to fight anypony." She said.

Rambler grinned. "It's probably for the best. Keep drinking my stuff like that and I'm not sure how much longer you'll be able to stand. Well, let's go while you're still sober enough to walk properly." Wrapping his foreleg around her shoulders, both as a sign of affection and to make sure she didn't fall over if it turned out he was wrong about her still being able to walk properly.

Fint nodded. "Yeah, I did see the way you were talking to Sole for a while. You certainly looked like you were enjoying yourself."

"Yeah, I have these things called 'good ideas' from time to time. Everypony always acts surprised, though." Minath said, and laughed.

Rambler shook his head as they started walking. "Not me. I think you're full of great ideas. That's just one of the many, many reasons why I love you." He nuzzled her.

She giggled and nuzzled Rambler back. Soon they arrived at the inn, and Minath led Rambler up to her room.

"A mix of both really. To tell you the truth, that's what you are too. Ponies are like dogs. Pet them nicely and they'll do anything for you. Pet them wrong and they bite. It's all just a giant game. And I figure I'm not too far off by comparing stallions to dogs." Iron said with another dismissive wave.

Rambler grabbed her and pulled her onto the bed with him. "Well, I hope you're ready to collect your interest." He pulled her close until their bodies were pressed together, stroking her mane and covering her whole face in kisses. Once again that thought occurred to him, as it so often did, that this might just be the night. They'd been together long enough, they certainly loved each other, they had the passion and the energy... and the alcohol. But he tried his best not to think about it. He knew he wouldn't go there until Minath was ready. She was certainly worth waiting for.

Flint shrugged. "I guess maybe you have a point. What you want to do with others is your business, not mine. Now, what you do with me, that's what I care about. And so far, you haven't disappointed at all."
