Lycan simply gave diamond a neutral stare, "I've come to apologize for sounding like a fool earlier today......I just didn't appreciate how you made me sound.....and I must have just lost it.....but trust me......it won't happen again, becouse after this tournaments over.....I'm gonna leave fairytale, trust me.....its for the good of the guild.....then I'll be out of your mane for good, just like you wanted..." said lycan indifferently.

Diamond stared at Lycan for about a minute...he had to be joking. She sighed a bunch of smoke and leaned against the doorway. "You reaaaaaaalllllly blow things out of proportion don't you..." She sighed again, another puff of smoke leaving her lungs. "You need to learn how to take insults because if you don't, you will get crushed in the arena. Ponies say things they don't generally mean...allot. When I said that about Dragonslayers...I didn't mean it, I was trying to piss you off because you were pissing me off. Don't leave Fairy Tail over an argument, Lycan." She said.

A worried look suddenly appeared on Rambler's face when Minath brought up magic. "Um... It's great to see you all Flint, but I'm sure you're tired from traveling all the way here, and I wouldn't want to take up any more of your time that you could be spending resting before the games, so I guess we'll just be going."

Flint grinned and shook Minath's hoof. "Nonsense, I'm just fine. I always have time for my big brother. And to answer your question, Minath, I could tell you, but why don't I show you instead?" He raised a hoof suddenly the air burst into flames a few feet away from them before the fire quickly winked out. He lowered his hoof again. "Combustion magic. Pretty cool, huh?"

Minath wrinkled her eyebrows when Rambler tried to get his Flint to not talk about his magic. Then she understood.

 

A Fire magic user.

 

When Flint burst into flames, Minath backed away, and for some reason, hissed. When Flint's flame went out, she was in the air and already on her way very far away from Flint and his terrible, hurtful magic. She was miles outside the city by the time she stopped and landed. There was flames inches from her body. Not fire magic, never again, never again... She understood why Rambler tried to get her to not know about Flint's magic, but alittle warning that he bursts into flame would've been nice.

Sole sighed "well... that was very kind of him." He said sarcastically "so" he said slowly "are you gonna go inside, or stay out here with me?" He asked "personally, id like to have somepony to talk to. But you don't have to stay if you don't want to." He mumbled, as he looked up at the sky and sighed.

"I'll stay here, I guess. It's not like I have anywhere else to go." Iron said, shrugging. She made miniature Sole and miniature Iron sit together, talking. Then curious to how Sole would react, made the two miniatures kiss. She waited for Sole's response.

Minath felt the sobs rack her body, and she equipped her Flame Empress Armor. Not flames could hurt her while she was in this.

This was bad. Very, very bad. Why hadn't he warned her? What was he thinking?

 

Without bothering to say a word to Flint, Rambler ran off, desperately trying to keep up with Minath. He ran faster than he would have thought possible, and he was at least able to stay close enough behind not to lose track of her. After running for what seemed like an eternity, he saw her land in the distance, and before long, he had caught up with her. He slowly walked up to her, not knowing what he could do to make this okay. But he had to do something. "I'm so sorry Minath. I should have told you, I should have given you a warning, but I couldn't do it, I couldn't do anything to bring that look of fear to your face. I guess I wanted to believe I could keep you from ever seeing him use magic, but I was stupid. I'm so, so sorry."

Minath heard Rambler come up to her, and armor and all, jumped into his arms. She wanted to be held and told everything was going to be okay. She curled into alittle ball in his arms. She didn't care right now that it was his brother who caused this fear in her heart, she just wanted to be held close by someone who wouldn't hurt her like that Fire user so long ago. She shuddered, not saying anything. She drew little circles in his chest with her hoof, staring at one point and making repetitive movements always helped her.

sole sighed and looked down at the flame replicas. He grinned "huh... not bad, but its not as handsome as the real thing." He said jokingly, trying to hide the blush on his face "at least you've got good taste... and your replica is pretty... hot." He said, snickering at his own pun.

Rambler held her tight and stroked her mane comfortingly. "It's okay, Minath. I know. I know you're scared that the fire is going to hurt you like it did years ago. But it's not. You're strong Minath, strong enough to protect yourself from any fire magic users that might want to hurt you. And you have me. I promise I'll always be here to protect you, and I won't ever let anyone or anything hurt you like that. Not fire, or anything else. Even if it meant fighting my own half-brother, I wouldn't hesitate for even a second to protect you. I love you, Minath, and I'll never let something like that happen to you again. Never."

Iron rolled her eyes, and made her miniature slug Sole's. She had it in her right mind to make her miniature sit on Sole's lap and see how hot it really was. She decided against it though, after all, she started it. She decided to have some more fun and make the replicas full-on make-out. She wondered how much Sole was going to blush this time.

Minath just stayed in Rambler's arms, drawing circles with her hooves. Her sobs stopped, but she still wanted to be there with Rambler. She looked up at him, but couldn't speak still. She tried to communicate her thoughts with her eyes. I know you will. I love you too. She looked back down and snuggled closer to his chest.

sole winced when the iron replica slugged the sole one "ouch..." he mumbled, but his blushing got worse when she had them make out. But he quickly thought of an idea, one to return the favor. "Ohh, i like em tough!" He said, grinning madly. "Burn baby burn!" He said, in a singy voice.

Rambler noticed her sobbing stop and smiled. She could get through this. He saw the expression in her eyes and knew he was getting through to her. He snuggled closer until his body was pressed against the cold metal of her armor. "It's okay. I know you can get through this, because I know the Minath I love is strong, way too strong to let something like this get the best of her. But until you get through this, I'll be right here with you, keeping you safe." He laid down on his side in the grass, pulling the still curled up Minath with him, and curling himself around her body as if to make a wall, protecting her from anything in the outside world that might try to hurt her. He would lay there like that, holding her and pressing his body against hers, for as long as she needed him. She was the love of his life, and he couldn't leave her like this even if he tried.

Minath unequipped her Flame Empress Armor. As long as Rambler was holding her, she was safe. As he had said, he'll keep her safe. She hoped she didn't hurt Flint's feelings.

 

"Do you think I hurt his feelings? Flint, I mean." Minath said, her voice coming out hoarse.

sole's smile dropped when the miniature's began to make out even more. With a glare, he shot a small bolt of lightning out of his eyes and zap the miniatures. "Alright, alright, enough of that." He said, as he tried and failed to stop blushing. "So, now that that's over with, what do you wanna do now?" He asked. The truth was he had a small crush on her, and liked to hang out with her. He hoped she'd want to hang out longer.

Rambler chuckled a little bit. "Oh, I wouldn't worry about him. I'm sure he'll think it's weird, but I don't think he'll really concern himself with it. Knowing him, he probably hasn't even figured out he was the reason you flew away. Not exactly a deep thinker, that one." He smiled as she requipped out of her armor. He pressed himself against her that much more, feeling the soft warmth of her flesh against his.

sole sighed and scratched his head in thought. "We'll, I'm definitly not sleeping yet..." he said quietly "I hate sleeping! Maybe we could spar, ya'know, train with each other." He suggested "how about it? Your fire against my lightning, c'mon!" He said excitedly as he electrified his body, already pumped up at the idea of fighting.

Iron shrugged, indifferent.

 

"Sure, whatever. I'm game." She just wanted something to pass the time. She was bored out of her mind and not really sure how to fill her time. She figured a sparring match would be fun.

 

She got up and stretched, popping her joints after sitting down so long. She had a habit of forming miniatures so she formed herself without realizing she had done it. The miniature flickered and laid down on her back.

Regal looked up from his book and looked out the window. He could see Sole and Iron getting ready to fight.

"Oh dear" Regal said as he closed his book. "They going to make a mess out there" -I should say something, but watching them destroy stuff is fun- Using his magic he placed a seal around his room protecting it form Direct magic contact.

I've made ALOT of mistakes in the past.....I've done a lot of things I'm not proud of.....and what's worse....most of my mistakes were involved with mares......being a changling, I used to abuse my love manipulation powers.....but once I realized that it wasn't real love......I vowed never to get involved with anoathe mare again becouse of how many hearts I broke.....and that's only ONE of my many mistakes I've made..." said lycan with his head hung in shame.

I focus on my books and training...rather than other ponies." She said, sticking the cigarette to the end of her usual cigarette holder before lighting it and taking a few puffs.

Lycan looked at diamond and shook his head slowly, "that's not a good habit to get into......trust me....I should know....but just to warn you.....if you ever do find sompony you really care about.....make sure you TRULY love them.....don't make the same mistake I did.....over and over again..." said lycan slowly, with a bitter smile, "well.....here I am rambling on.....you probably want to get back reading your book.....so I can leave jf you want..." said lycan quitely.
