The Secret Pony Agency

 

Case #001

 

The Crystal Heart is what keeps the Crystal Empire protected from evil foes such as King Sombra. It is the symbol that keeps the Empire together. In order to repel enemies, the Crystal Ponies use the light within them to power the Crystal Heart. With all of the light absorbed, the Crystal Heart ousts enemies with an explosion of bright light. Without the Crystal Heart, the Empire can be swallowed in to darkness in a matter of days. Plus, without the protection of the Crystal Heart, grave memories of the reign of the evil King Sombra. Even worse, if the Crystal Heart is broken...the Empire WILL be destroyed with it, for it is the ONLY means of protection.

 

 

FRIDAY MAY 18 8:30:29PM

It was reported that the Crystal Heart was missing. Princess Cadence and Shining Armor have only supplied a small ammount of evidence, which was not enough for Celestia to work with. Therefore, she called upon the Equestrian Secret Pony Agency, to find and take down the culprit responsible for stealing the Crystal Heart. 

 

This is a Secret-Agent type roleplay. It is a slow-moving roleplay that requires some thinking skills, putting the evidence together to find the culprit. 

 

Each of you will receive gagets that are required for all Equestrian Secret Pony Agents

 

1. Spy Communicator: Keeps time, weather, built-in compass. Has a built-in mini projector that creates a holographic screen to communicate with ponies at the base. 

2. Invisibility Clip: Clipped on to your belt. Renders you invisible for 10 minutes. Takes 5 minutes to recharge

3. Body Scanner: Scans the pony in front of you and allows you to disguise as that pony for 20 minutes. Takes 15 minutes to recharge

 

You can have your own gagets as well. Just put them in your sign up form. 

 

You will be known by your pony's first name only (My OC is Thunder Dash so therefore it will be Agent Thunder)

1. First and foremost, no godmodding, no powerplay, no OP characters

2. Alicorns are welcome as long as they are not OP or as powerful as Princess Celestia

3. No Profanity

Backstory: Raised in Cloudsdale, Thunder Dash went nameless for the first few years of his life. It wasn't until he rescued a young pegasus from a storm and was struck by lightning in the process. This is how he got his abilities and on that day he earned his cutie mark. 

Extra Gaget: Thunder Dash has remote control robotic parasprite that allows him to spy on enemies. It also has a short invisibility clip. In addition, it can disguise itself as a real true living parasprite that fools enemies with it's outer cute looks.

Gender: Stallion

Special Talent: Learning, specifically quick observation and analysis, along with an uncanny charisma that lets him extract intel

Back story: Curious was a native of Cloudsdale, but fell from a great height during flight camp and ended up on ground level. It during this time that he realized he loved exploring the world, learning everything he could. He left home at an early age of 13 to become a traveling private detective, but now 19, he has been recruited into the Equestrian Secret Pony Agents.

Extra gadgets: He has his signature scarf, which has an minor enchantment upon it that soothes aching muscles and also helps Curious to relax and think.

 

His full character bio is in my sig, and if you need anything changed to better fit your RP, I'd be willing to accomadate.

Male Changeling

Grand Inquisitor Karma, a supporter of the new ESPA, assigned Lord Inquisitor Moon Crypt to the case as extra backup. (Backstory-type backstory is found in link)

 

His invisibility device lasts about five minutes more, but entering water with is active will short out the device, instantly revealing him.

He does not have a body scanner. Unnecessary, isn't it? Although, his disguise vanishes if he attacks or is attacked, as he loses his focus on keeping the disguise.

He has several daggers and a crossbow.

His spy communicator is also connected to the Inquisition HQ.

 

So, I am anxious to join! Here we go!

Well, I already put up the roleplay. So, it's your turn. Us two will start this roleplay by ourselves, until the last two slots are filled. I'll integrate them into the part we are in. What's going to happen is that they will start at the ESPA base and be teleported to our exact location.

Backstory (Make it brief):  Used to live in Canterlot as a filly.  As she grew into a teen, she did not like how fancy everything was and traveled out at night.  Finding her home in Ponyville, she got her cutie mark, three neon aqua stars.  Now, she wanted to be an agent, knowing that she is very quick and will be difficult to catch.

Yes, you may join. Now, you'll start at the ESPA base and an agent will give you a copy of the files. He'll then send you to the teleportation room, where he'll teleport you to my exact location, which is the The Crystal Empire, right outside the entrance of the Crystal Castle.

Echo Sight

Talent: Echolocation, could come in handy when trying to eavesdrop

Back story: As a colt, Echo was made fun of for being clumsy. Not many ponies knew, but he was blind. He used his unicorn magic to help see, but it wasn't that helpful. One night, he was doing his usual crying himself to sleep when he heard the unmistakable screech of a bat. He remembered what he had learned about bats and how they could see at night with echolocation. For weeks he tried to mimic their calls when on the first day of a new month, he succeeded. His cutie mark appeared then and for the first time in his life, he was able to see.

I'm on my phone so I can't post a link, but at the time of writing this Echo Sight is close to the top of the recently updated list in the character archives.

 

I thought i should also mention that Echo didn't use the echolocation until he learned how to do it without the call, for fear of looking like a fool. He can now do it with his ears alone.
