planning The Diamond Ocean

This is my Planning thread for a new Pirate RP. I would like to invite you to join this such RP. Your character should fit the personality of a pirate, and have nerves of steel. Well, here's the idea.

 

Plot: There is an ocean above the Crystal Empire. It is yet to have named any true pirate king. Many of the locals have nicknamed it "The Diamond Ocean." It has no pirates AT THE MOMENT, but did at one time. So set sail, find new treasure, make your fortune, and become the top crew of the seas.

 

Criteria: We're in need of AT MOST 4 other crews. Your crew needs a name, a captain, and a first mate. Gimmicks are optional, but not required. Most of all though, you'll need a Crew. Once two crews meet the minimum requirements, we'll start the adventure. ALL PIRATES MUST CARRY ANY TYPE OF SWORD AND A FLINTLOCK

First Mate:

Crew min: 2

Gimmick: All crew must follow pirates code.

 

Tenet 1: A pirate never harms a pirate of his crew who upholds this code.

Tenet 2: A pirate never steals from those poorer than themselves.

Tenet 3: A pirate always gives a portion of his plunderings to the crew treasury.

Tenet 4: A pirate never turns in his crew for personal gain or safety.

I'll join this if it seems like enough people are going to be involved. For the time being, I'd just like to remark at how similar this is to an RP I participated in and later rebooted a few months back. In fact, it was one of the last I DMed before I withdrew from DMing until just a couple days ago. Hopefully this one actually ends up going somewhere- the others never really had a chance to progress before dying out (which is why I'm hesitant to officially join this one).

Hmmm this looks like it could be good. I think I might join this, but I'm not sure yet. I'm probably going to make a new oc for this if I do it.
