My Pony art

Hey all, I just thought I'd jump into the forum by posting some of my art, or attempted artwork anyway. I would love some feedback on this art, if possible, too. 

 

These are in chronological order of when they were done.

 

First is Vinyl and Octavia 

 

 

 

 

Next are two unnamed OC's, but digitally done

 

 

 

 

Now we have one of just Octavia, digitally.

 

 

 

 

And this is one of just Vinyl, digitally.

 

 

 

 

Lastly, we have my most recent work, completed today, of my OC, Bass Clef

 

 

 

 

 

So, once again, feedback would be appreciated. I am relatively new to digital art, being I only got my tablet in the beginning of this year, and I haven't been practicing nearly as regularly as I should. Either way, I'm pretty proud of all these pieces.

Awh, thanks! I like to feel like I am improving my artwork. And yes, I love my final one specifically. I spent a good four hours on it from start to finish. I hadn't really tried lighting and shadows before, so I was out on a limb for that one, too.

I know I'm double posting, but I couldn't find any rule against this, and I have another piece I'd like to add to this list. I just finished this OC today, in keeping with my goal of "One picture a day" to get back into the habit of drawing. I called her Bundt Cake. Yes, I know her cutie mark isn't actually a bundt cake, but what am I gonna do? Haha, and no, she is in no relation to the Cake's.

 

 

 

 

The picture is hosted on my Tumblr. And I particularly feel like i messed up the eyes, but oh well. Comments? Criticisms?

Another update, yay! I just finished another picture of a new OC, who is pretty much up for grabs if anyone wants 'em. They are unnamed, can be either sex and have no currently decided cutie mark. I just wanted to try out a new coloring style idea, and am pretty happy with how it turned out. Practice creates improvement right? Haha well, enough of that... Here they are:

 

 

Edit: Upon further inspection, They will probably work out best as a female character, due to the eye lashes, heh.
