searching Beneath the Silver Sea (Searching) (Merpony RP)

All fillies and colts know the tales of the ponies beneath the sea. Half-fish, half-pony, they lived a cursed life, never quite sure if they desire water or land.

Of course, all knew that the stories about the merponies weren't real. All those who claimed that they had seen them poking their heads above the water were clearly liars seeking their fame, but then the incident happened.

A shining silvery shell was found on a deserted beach, drawing the attention of the strangers each on their own separate ways, its glow mesmerizing. However, when it is touched, a horrible accident happens, and all three are transported beneath the sea to a forgotten grotto-now merponies, among real, breathing merponies.

However, the magic of the shell wears off, and they are eventually are returned to the surface.

Knowing a secret as fabulous as that can be hard to keep, and eventually, ponies are flocking to study these creatures, and the shell is being jeopardized.

You must now keep the secret safe-returning to the sea world is allowed, but each time the time you remain a sea creature becomes longer and longer, and one must be careful not to become one forever...

 

This RP is pretty much a mix of everyone, but I suppose one could say it is mostly "slice of life". In between bouts of being a merpony, you are able to do other activities and have other commitments, etc.

 

 

Rules:

1. Characters are limited to ponies only. It wouldn't make sense to have mer-diamond dogs or something. In this, you can only play unicorn, pegasus, or earth pony. When you are in merpony form you will not have wings or a horn, mind. No alicorns or crystal ponies.

2. No Gary or Mary Sues. I will evaluate your OC, and if I feel they have too many "perfect" traits, I will ask that you modify or use someone else. They make the roleplay boring.

3. Romance is allowed, but do not let it dominate the purpose of the roleplay. It may be a SoL, but that does not make it a romance-only. In addition, it's incredibly irritating when people dominate the whole thing with their shipping. If it gets out of hand I will ask you to tone it down.

4. Respect your fellow roleplayers and the DM (namely, myself.) If there is a problem, fix it on your own time or bring it to me, don't squabble.

5. Up to four characters.

6. MAXIMUM FIVE POSTS A DAY. I am a busy person.
