I drew pony, I do good?

Just a quick doodle using only a pen.

 

 

Did I do good? I think she might be one of my characters, but I'm unsure yet.

Can't really find anything to really give criticism on (only minor thing would be the gender features, but I guess you can only do so much with a head ;P).

Well I'll tell you one thing... that mare face is better than what I can do I never get the noses right lol. Anyways you did a pretty good job. You should try doing a full body pic

 

Well now that I think about it... the eye looks a bit awkward...

Not bad at all.... i just recommend using softer lines, as to best fit the art style. It does looke VERY good.  Much better than i can draw for sure.

I can't really do soft lines, only the raggedy looking lines. Like I said, it was a quick doodle. 

 

I might attempt her full body drawing later.

I'd say it looks pretty good especially since its just a doodle. (Its probably better then I can draw xD.) I mean sometimes the lines kinda get thick, but other then that I don't see any real issues, looks pretty accurately drawn to proportions and everything.

Thank you, Zygen. I tried making the lines one thickness, but it was done with one of those pens with the thick ink, so if I held it the wrong way, it kinda just thickened the line. >_<

pretty good actually, ears are set a little too high and eyes are set a little too far back, but it looks really nice, lots of character in the face

Yes, grasshopper, you do good. Gooder than I do whenever I try to draw without sketching a wireframe reference, actually. I needs my frames. I'm worthless at freehand, I tell ya wot.

I've tried fixing the ears and eyes problem on some of my other drawings. It makes them look odd. I guess that's just my style. At least it still looks good. And the character in the face, you're actually the first to notice that in any of my drawings. I usually make my drawinsg have some sort of attitude of personality that you can see right away. Nobody ever notices it though. xD

 

Maybe it is sexual! /not

Yeah, I could never draw with pens; mainly for the fact that I erase nearly every line I draw just to make sure it's good. Also because I tend to change my mind AS I draw.

 

You should try and re-sketch her using a pencil (maybe add a bit of shadow/shading as well?) and see how she comes out

Hmm.. anyone else think the pony looks like an older scootaloo? 

 

Anyway, anything I was going to say has been said. Muzzle and eyes are a little small, head should be a bit more round, ears a little high, blahblahblah. That stuff is nit picking.
