Will the parents of the little girls try to put an end to bronies in the future?

I'd like to think that parents have better things to do with their time than worry a kid's show's adult fanbase. But assuming there were a good number of disgruntled anti-brony parents out there, the only possible action that they could conceivably take to "put an end to bronies" would be to put an end to the show itself; as long as it's around, so too will we be, at least to some degree.

 

Needless to say, such an effort would never succeed since MLP is currently Hasbro's bread and butter; if it ever came down a choice between caving into the complaints of a couple thousand bitchy parents, or keeping one of their most lucrative franchises alive...well, I think we all know which option they'd choose.

 

But let's assume the worst and say that the planets all aligned, Hasbro went bankrupt and sold all their IPs to some company that decided to sit on it for the rest of eternity, thus ending the show and all possibilities that it would ever be retooled. Would that end us? Well...I'd still say probably not. With the vast number of talented animators within the fandom, one could easily see them coming together to coordinate a fan continuation project.

 

Bottom line, I don't think anything that overprotective parents could ever do will truly get rid of us.

Well you see, the problem on the haters side of this movement is when their voices are heard, whether they like it or not, we get stronger from their publicity, I recently started a thread about this. So either way, we will never be broken apart because we are always growing. The only way that we would ever be broken apart is if they made it illegal to be a brony, which will never happen so I think we are ok.

I would hope that parents would have better things to do than try to take down a fandom. You know, that time could actually be used to, well, raise their damn kid.

I don't see it happened anytime soon that is, most Moms/Dads really don't mind us. I know a lot of moms/dads and they all know I'm A BIG BRONY they don't mind that I talk with there daughter about the show all the time. But! you could be right for all we know there could be a group of moms and dads that gather every night trying to build up there ranks to kill us all off! but I don't see it happening

Give them time. Of you go to Seattle most Saturday you will find groups of people pretesting something.  Some time back I asked some people what they are pretesting. I wish I was joking when I say. they were pretesting horse riding in the mountains. Not because they rune the trails. Because the horse droppings.  As a horse mounted forest ranger while I was a teenager; I will tell you this. That is the most stupid thing I heard of. So after they find out about us they will turn on us.

I highly doubt this would ever happen. There are a few retards out there who believe that MLP is the work of Satan (I'm dead serious! XD), or bronies are pedophiles. Those ignoramuses are always laughed off by everyone with more than a few working brain cells. The general public wouldn't take an anti-brony movement seriously.

You don't "put an end" to something someone likes/does by setting up a coalition of concerned parents.  Dungeons and Dragons, heavy metal and drunk driving would have been stopped if this were true.

 

Some people aren't going to like what you do.  Some people aren't going to accept the things you do as normal.  Let them be that way.  As long as you aren't hurting anyone, their opinion isn't shit.
