"Yeah, I'm coming." Cherry replied. "I know you know that I know the area well but ... coming up on the roof makes me feel weary. Most building nearby can get an easy vantage point over us. I will go, but I may act a bit weird." She followed Cleo to the Stairs and looked at the Frozen city. "It's so bad that things had to be this way." She thought.

The green pony quickly pulled his hooves back.

"Sure, whatever."

"Okay... well that's that I guess. Does your group need anything? Any supplies? We recently raided the train, so we're packed. Also, let us know when the time's right."

The green stallion used the conversation to glance back at the powders, looking like he was going to take something any moment.

"You best not touch those. You might lose a hoof. Or several. You should know to not mess with the bottles under the sink. Especially when you don't know what they do. That one there explodes at a touch. And that will give you warts."

Blue caught the snowball and using his magic and saw the escaping hostage, "didn't I warn her not to try to escape last time?" Blue readied his snowball and shit it at extreme velocity at the escaping hostage's hind leg, Blue heard a crack as soon as the snowball hit, "I didn't think snowballs were that hard.... " Blue waved at Raze "Thanks for the snowball!, can you do me a favor? get that mare over there, she tried to escape"

"I guess that's it. Let's go back home!"

Steel was about to walk through the door, but his green friend stopped him.

"Ahem..."

His horn glowed lightly.

"Oh yeah. Sorry." Steel said with a smirk.

The green unicorns horn glowed even more, and suddenly they were back at Steel's hideout.

"So...? What was it?"

"Heartbeat has poisoned some food, and she has a superspy that will do everything for us. Mostly. Heartbeat will be here when the times right, so don't blow her brains out. Yet."

One of the gang members threw a log on the fire and sat down again.

Johnny woke up, he grumbled a little, he stepped out of the bed and shivered a bit, even though it was indoors, it was still cold, he walked out into the hall, however in his groggyness, he forgot his gasmask this place needs power, but i need to fortify the gate first... he thought to himself

Redstorm walked up to the university. He had gone scavenging, when he came back he noticed that the group was gone. The train was blown up as well.

*Atleast Cleo and Jonny should be here...*

He readied his axe and opened the door.

Acid heard the door opening, while he was looking for something to eat. He slowly sneaked at the door, noticing his red buddy standing there.

"Red!"

Redstorm jumped.

"Do you know how close I was to choping your face off!? The hell are you doing here?"

"All of us are here... Cleo's been bugging me and there's a new pony. Also, the hostage escaped."

"Who?"

"It was one of the bandits... she wasn't important at all!" Acid added, when noticing a bit anger on Redstorm's face.

"If you say so... so is this place your fortress or something?"

"Pretty much, yeah. We're still repairing it."

"You got a dorm?"

"Yeah! There's one free right besides mine actually!"

Redstorm smirked.

"I suppose you want me to settle down there?"

".... why not?"

"Nothing! Let's go! I wanna see that new pony anyway."

The two started walking towards the dorms. Both happy to see eachother again.

" Okay." Cleo rolled her eyes. She saw one of them, and trotted to it, opening the hatch. On an impulse, she stuck her head in, along with her front hooves and most of her body. Unexpectedly, the inside was covered with slippery ice.

" Aghhh!" Cleo landed on the carpeted floor in the space between Johnny, Acid and Redstorm. The top of her white coat was covered in dust and cobwebs, as well as her green and pink hair. She glared at both groups. " What are ya staring at?"

Johnny saw Cleo land in front of him, he took a step back, then he walked over and helped her up, he chuckled a bit  "hey you ok? what happened?" he asked her as he helped her to her feet must of been ice, i need to read those heat based magic books so i can deal with that he thought

" I'm fine. Thanks. " Cleo attempted to brush herself off, but the dirt stuck to her like glue. " I'll probably need a bath, though. Preferably a long one. The new pony's on the roof, I'm sure she'll come down soon." She then looked carefully at Johnny. " You're missing something... I don't remember what, " She shrugged. " I'll probably come back to me later."

" That would be awesome! I haven't had a shower since..." It took Cleo a moment to think. " Well, since Equestria froze over. Why do you were that gas mask anyway? It's not like we're in a nuclear radiation zone..." She tilted her head, rather curious. I've never actually properly thought about it either.

"well, i wear it for safety, it keeps my face warm, it also sheilds face from wind and heavy snow fall, and of course theres that off chance that i will run into a chemical or biological agent in the air, i found it in trottingham, well, more of stole it from those  crazy cultists, they used them for their death squads, painting intimidating features on them, i managed to scratch off most of the paint on mine"

Cherry heard the ventilation shaft which Cleo was in fall. "Shit, I hope she's okay." Cherry trotted over to the entrance and peeked through to see the shaft split apart from some of the wires holding the tunnel up snapping. "Maybe I should go round a safe way to get to where she probably landed." She thought. "But she may have hurt herself, so I might as well risk flying through the pipe. Shouldn't be too difficult."

 

So she did, and cautiously moved down the pipe. As she did she stumbled and slid out of the pipe tumbling out of the ventilation and falling onto a carpet. She flapped her wings a bit before falling to soften the blow. Fortunately, it wasn't as much of a fall as expected.

"Sure thing, gimme a sec!" Raze shouted towards Blue. He headed towards where the pony was, quickly approached her and pinned her to the ground. Not giving her a chance, he knocked her out with the butt of his rifle.

 

"Gotcha..." he said with a sigh. He took her unconscious body, and propped on top of his, slowly making his way back to Blue.

Blue smiled and pointed down at the entrance to the university, "I'll open the doors, just wait a sec" Blue made his way down stairs and towards the door and unlocked it, "Welcome back!" Blue shouted as he opened the doors, Blue ran towards Raze and help him carry the hostage inside.

" Nice to see that you could join us. Decided to take the express too, huh?" Cleo took a moment to laugh, before continuing. "Everypony, this is Cherry. The new pony who has been living here for some time already."

" Dont. Fucking. Touch. Me." Cleo growled, her voice dripping with acid(Hehe. I couldn't help it. Please don't kill me.). " I was being nice and civil to him, and then he let the prisoner escape while I was dealing with the new pony." She shot a glare towards the little foal.

"Good to be back." Raze said while taking the hostage and dropping her in front of Blue. He looked around. He saw a couple of ponies whom he did not see before, and gave a slight look of surprise.

 

 

"Looks like we have some new people in the group, huh? Who are they?"

Blue stared at Red "welcome back mate" and shut the door behind Raze, "So what now? we just gonna get cozy here or are we still looking for a place to permanently call home?" Blue picked heaved his rifle over his shoulder, "we will be sitting ducks, we gotta prepare, turn this uni into a fortress"

Redstorm slapped Acid in the head.

"That's a bad. Bad Acid." He said jokingly.

Acid rolled his eyes.

Red turned back to Cleo.

"Still... don't lay a hoof on him. Or I'll make sure you don't have time to practice your spying skills anymore. Also, stop lying to me. Being "nice and civil" doesn't mean calling him a little shit, you know? Geez, Cleo... he's still little."

Acid slapped Redstorm back.

"Told you." Redstorm laughed.

Cleo rolled her eyes. " Well, I was being nice and civil in my own way. Nopony's little in the wastelands, not anymore. " With that, she turned around and headed back to her and Johnny's room. 

 

I need to check on something... She furrowed her brows.

Cherry wasn't sure what to do after Cleo left. "I look like the enemy now after letting that pony go. Maybe if I approach with a fresh start, they'll be more forgiving." She thought. So she tried to change the subject. "So yeah I'm Cherry Jackpot, I've been here for a while now keeping out of otherponys way. And yeah this place is pretty secure. So, what are your names?" Cherry asked.
