Blue made his way to the basement  and saw Jonny standing next to a sewage entrance that was blocked by snow and ice "You do realize that Ice and Nature are my magical talents right?" Blue chuckled end charged up his horn to frost magic "now... how do I use Ice magic To remove Ice?" Blue squatted down and rubbed his chin "hmmmnnn... I can make the ice shatter... but it will take some time, Jonny, I'll shatter the ice and you use some sort of heat magic to melt the shattered ice, we should be done quite quickly" Blue didn't hesitate and started shattering the ice with his magic.

Redstorm thought for a second.

"The carrot!"

He went over to the small pile of goodies and took a small bite of another carrot.

A faint figure was standing infront of him.

"THE FOOD'S POISONED!"

He threw the carrot to Cleo.

He gave Raze a grin.
A second later, the grin was gone.

" Uhh..." Cleo looked at it uncertainly. " I'll take your word for it." I do not want to see my nightmares, ever. Especially in real life.

 

 

 

He ran to the basement and pinned Straight Shot against a wall. "DO YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY!? WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU POISON THE FOOD!?"

 

Red had eaten the carrot which he took from Straight! He was planning to make it into stew and give it to all of us! Cleo's eyes narrowed dangerously. " You're on their side, aren't you?" She snarled.

Raze looked at Red, then back at Straight. Without another word, he raised his rifle at Straight, but didn't shoot. He needed answers.

 

"Why?" Raze asked Straight calmly. "What made you think this was a good idea? To poison your own group and run away to the enemy?"

" Straight went missing for a pretty long time. He must've gotten to their base and made an agreement to kill us all, or at least capture. Still a traitor." Cleo growled, looking as if she wanted to rip Straight Shot to shreds. " He knew what was in the food too. He wanted to make it into soup and give it to all of us!"

Straight wasn't sure what was going on. Poisoned food? He did find that carrot in an old supermarket. It might just be bad food that someone laced to kill looters.

 

"I didn't know, besides I wasn't going to make a stew out of that. I had these."

 

Straight reached into his jacket and showed 3 cans of Filthy Rich's Chunky Potato Stew.

 

"I couldn't have poisoned the food, what was I going to eat if I did? I'm starving too!"

 

He put the cans back in his bag.

 

"I'd suggest then we get rid of any food that is not freshly caught or not factory sealed. For all we know, it wasn't for us. Hell some junkie might have decided to put drugs in the food and Red had a really bad trip"

Suddenly, Acid bursted into the basement. He had run, so he was exhausted.

"The... gate... coming... Steel..."

Redstorm cursed as he heard Steel's name.

He let Straight go and ran upstairs with the little colte.

Acid told him to loo out of the window.

"Commander Johnny? We're under attack. There's like 30 ponies outside, plus the two leaders. They are currently seeking for cover, and the seem to have somehow blow up the gate without us hearing it."

Suddenly, a bit scratchy voice was heard outside.

"Train ponies! We are back! You seem to put up quite a fight so far! Let the gods decide who shall be the winner of round two! We heard your helpless screams a while ago! The spy did it's job, what was his name, Straight Shot? Well, he left something undone! And that is murdering you! I'll happily take that honour myself! And share that pleasure with my comrades! Give them hell, lads!"

About total rain of bullets hit the university, shattering the windows and making holes into the walls.

" Straight Shot, stay the fuck away. You betrayed us, that pony outside called you their spy loud and clear. Now, run away before I fucking shoot your brains out." Cleo loaded her gun, pointing it at Straight. 

 

Melting the ice is gonna take too long. We're out of time. Cleo shoved Blue aside. She gave the ice wall a strong buck, shattering it into pieces. Several of those landed on Cleo leaving scars on her back legs. She swore.

 

" Everypony! To the basement!" She yelled, loud enough for the ponies in the building to hear, but not those outside.

Straight was still confused, the drugged food, the fact those snipers practically let him in. It was apparent there was something going on.

"I'm...a spy?"

Straight ducked down. No way he was running into the bullets. He wasn't going anywhere, even if Cleo tried to shoot him.

"I don't even remember talking to Steel. Why does he think I'm a spy?"

 

He chambered a round in his rifle and covered the staircase.

 

"Cleo I know this is really confusing, but I don't know what he is talking about. And it seems like he doesn't care that I'm down here so we're in the same boat. We can figure out this shit later. We need that ice gone, NOW!"

Cleo bucked away the last of the ice. " I already cleared out our escape route, no thanks to you."

Redstorm ran back down with Acid. He stopped before Straight.

"Even an dragon will sit down and cry when that mare's angry... so you'd better run."

He stopped to hear Straight defend himself.

"Riiiight."

Acid handed him a rope, which seconds later was tied to Straight.

"Now we'll just trade you for supplies, little spy! Let's get moving."

He pulled Straight onto his back and started dragging him out the door.

Meanwile, the bandits had stopped shooting and were now storming the university.

"It's awfully quiet in here..."

"They're just waiting for a moment to escape... I bet they're just hiding!"

The bandit's were smashing doors open, taking supplies and looking for their enemies.

"Damnit! They got away! Well atleast now we have this place... I get a feeling that Heartbeat's gonna visit us soon."

"Uh-uh... yep."

*Can't belive this... she actually suggested something nicely this time.*

Redstorm smirked and turned to the left. After some time of running around in the sewers, the group found a ladder that lead to the surface. Redstorm opened the entrance and climbed up with Straight. He could hear Acid following him. He put Straight down on the snowy ground and observed his surroundings. It seemed like a normal street. It was new. He had never been in this place.

" Redstorm?" A familiar voice called out for them. Lyona stepped away from the house she had been hiding behind. " Finally! I thought I lost you guys!"

 

" Do you have anywhere to stay?" Cleo asked brusquely. " We're being chased by a gang."

 

" Yeah, I do." Lyona frowned. So that's what all the ruckus was about... Lyona then trotted to a building, the rest of the group following. It was warm inside the house, and quite clean.

"Why can't I remember anything about spying on them? I went back cause Heartbeat said they were coming to kill the group. Why would she lie about it?"

Elsewhere.

 

"What do you mean you actually put the drug in his bags. If that group dies Steel will be gunning for us next!" Heartbeat screamed at one of the earth ponies.

Things aren't going too well with Heartbeat and her group.

"That drug was supposed to be ready in case Steel tries anything. That whole plan was to get Straight back into the university without getting shot."

 

The earth pony replied "But isn't Straight under the drug's effect? Why didn't you just sober him up and send him back?"

 

Heartbeat replied "that's cause if they decide to screw me over then I can have Straight kill them. I hope it doesn't come to that cause I like them a whole lot more than Steel. Either way, keep your gas masks with you and make sure the gas bombs are ready. If Steel wants to mess with us he's going to have to deal with everything I have in my lab."

Johnny looked around, he teleported to a high position, circle balcony on the top of the Grand Central Center, the railings gave him cover, he could easily take a lot of them out, the basement in side the GCC was where the other ponies were, he saw the raider group approching the GCC, right out in the open, no cover for them, he then started taking several shots, killing a raider with each trigger pull, he made sure he was mostly in cover to protect himself

Blue teleported to Jonny and placed down his rifle, "You call that a gun?"

Blue chambered a light 50. into his rifle and adjusted the scope "this is a gun, mate" Blue scoped around looking for raiders that threaten the group."I don't see anyth-" Blue got blown off balance by a huge gust of wind.

"Shit!, what was that?"

Blue's ear twitched as he picked up some sound in the distance

"Jonny you hear that?...sounds like... machine guns"

 

A navy blue Pegasus flew right over Jonny and Blue "Jonny... you reckon hes friendly?" Blue stood up and tried to see who that Pegasus was.

Steel heard gunshots outside.

"Don't rush! Gather everything that you can and let the unicorns do what they do best!" He yelled throughout the university.

The unicorns of the gang started teleporting their buddies back to the base, including them. The gang had collected some more supplies.

Steel and his green buddy arrived last.

"Good work, lads! We showed those wussies who's boss!"

He poked the green pony.

"You're up!"

The green pony laughed and pressed a button.

Bangs were heard outside, as the university blew into pretty much nothing. Only the GCC, the dormrooms, Celestia wing and half of the theater remained.

after they all left Johnny teleported down, he set the train wreakage in front of where the gate was, he then walked to one of the buildings and inspected the damage hmm, its a good thing these guys dont know any thing about architecture, none of the structural supports have been damaged, but it seems like good enough damage was done to make these buildings unsafe until repairs can be done, he sighed  its a good thing there wasnt much supplies to begin with or i would of been in more trouble...speaking of which, if i am going to properly start this community, those raiders are going to have to die, oh and that mare i met in the bookstore, what did she say? 'oh this place is intact for a reason, the raiders wouldnt like you shooting the place up' shes getting a nice bolt of lightning for lieing, ill need to contact Cleo, see where she is... he concentrated real hard @@LittleRawr, -Cleo....can you hear....me- he couldnt keep a constant signal due to the distance
