Stone sat in her room. Once she wiped the tears from her face. She looked herself in the mirror and looked at her mane and maid dress. The dress covered her bruises and cuts. She didn't know any healing spells, but even if she did. He would beat her for it. So she sighed as she observed her dress.

As Tempest trotted through the mansion, he felt like he was getting closer and yet was so far from Ivy. He tried to remember where she was and had an idea, he then galloped back into the ballroom and dove into the ground where Ivy was standing. The floor shifted and Temoest fell through. "Now we're getting somewhere." He thought.

 

Ivy heard something above her and noticed Tempest landing on the ground. She smiled. "It's good to see you again." She said.

 

Tempest smiled and brought Ivy into a hug. "I was so worried." He said, before letting go. "I think it's time for us to leave." The cyan pegesus then flew back the way he came, with Ivy clinging onto his back. "Just like old times." He thought.

Crimson sighed and quitely followed tempest, "I have a bad feeling about this....." thought crimson before falling through thebfloor with tempest. After landing, he looked up and noticed ivy, crimson smiled, "sup tree hugger..." said crimson.

 

Umbra void chuckled darkly as he hid in the shadows near the dining table, watching all the guests with dark intent, "hehehehe......this is going to be so much fun..." said umbra quitely before shapeshifting into a green pony with a grey wavy mane and walked into the crowd.

 "Names SharpShot" SharpShot sighed "So whats up with the mysterious vanishing of some mare named Ivy? Everypony seems to be jumping to conclusions, what if she just went to the bathroom?" She looked around and saw that the group had gone looking for the mare "Shall we follow them?"

Sole sighed as he arrived at the room he thought he saw stone go into "hey stone, you in there?" He asked loud enough for her to hear as he knocked on the door "I just wanted to talk to ya alone for a little bit, ya'know, hang out at the party?" He waited paitently for an answer "I hope this is the one she went in..." he mumbled.

"No need. In my experience it's far better if a large group just looks in different places. More efficient. And I do agree they are all too jumpy about the whole situation." Curious said confidently.

 

"Besides, I have the odd feeling they already found her; just call it intuition." Scarlet assured. Scarlet always followed her intuition, her gut instinct. "I wouldn't be too worried. Except..."

 

Scarlet suddenly felt something in her gut that was not pleasant. "Well, there does seem to be a problem with the lights. Suspicions of foul play is only natural."

Tempest rolled his eyes and grabbed Crimson as he fell. "I think it's time I had a little chat with Blueprick." He said, as he came back up through the floor. He landed and let the two ponies off of him.

 

Ivy glanced at Crimson and smirked. "Good to see you to, Crimson." She said. "I assume Luna is here somewhere?"

 

Tempest then sensed a different aura and let his own surround him. "There's something I need to take care of. You two be careful." He Sid, as he trotted away. He came up beside the green pony and smirked. "Hello. I didn't see you earlier. Who are you?"

"In your experience? You some sort of detective or something?" SharpShot looked over to Scarlet  "You think they already found her? Alright...So, where do we go from here? And by the way, has anypony even seen Prince Blueblood? He is the one who invited us to this party"

Crimson shrugged and smiled, "well luna is off in the crowd somwhere, probably being mobbed by a crowd of money grubbing flank kissers..." said crimson with a sigh.

 

Umbra looked at tempest and put on a plastic smile, "hello, my name is grey gale, who might you be?" Asked umra.

Stone heart jumped when she heard the door. She got nervous. Till she heard it was sole then she let a sigh in relief. And sat down trying to fix her dress and brush her mane over her eye, just so sole wouldn't see all the marks she had. She then walked over to the door, and opened it slowly "you can come in" she said.

Sole grinned and walked in, giving stone a hug as he did so. "Sorry for flipping out earlier, just can't stand to see you like this." He said quietly "just wanted to talk to ya, and ask you why you were working for that bastard blueblood." He said honestly "if its for the bits, I could've gotten ya some cash easily."

"That he is! A detective, that is. " Scarlet said, patting her brother on the withers.

 

"Agh, she knows I prefer to keep my occupation on the down low." Curious thought, gritting his teeth.

 

"Blueblood has been oddly absent. We should try to find him." he said, before mentally adding, "before one of those brutes do. Violence really does not help get information."

"A detective? Cool" SharpShot smiled . She fond it funny how calm Curious seems to be and how his sister Scarlet is much more...excitable, it seems. "Alright, lead the way! You know, this is pretty awesome...Solving a mystery and all. And i thought the party would be boring" She laughed a bit

Stone felt comfort in the hug....as well as pain which made her jump back "s-sorry I got *FAKE COUGH* a cold" she said. She then sighed and hung her head "....it's not like that....see I got into a deal with him...and I-I need to repay it, or else..,he'll punish me badly, worse then ever" she said with a sad tone.

Curious was going to object to having another pony join him, but given that a mare had just recently disappeared, he reconsidered his typical habit of going off on his own. "A group of three ponies is less likely to be ambushed..."

 

"Great! You know, you aren't the only one who is quite excited by this mystery. My brother may not like to show it, but he's giddy on the inside." Scarlet said, to which Curious glared at her sternly. She just giggled at it though, "and, I'll be taking point. I always do when me and him work together."

 

"Only because you don't have any hesitation or restraint!"

 

Scarlet then began trotting in a seemingly random direction, with Curious reluctantly following her.

Tempest knew the pony was lying, but decided to play along. "You can just call me Tempest." He said. "So, when did you get here?" The cyan pegesus felt a lot of power and darkness coming off of this pony. Maybe this is the one who hurt his sister and Ivy.

 

Ivy laughed slightly. "That might be possible." She said. The silver unicorn then shrugged. "Anyway, I'm going to go look for Blueblood. Something isn't right, and I want to know what." The silver unicorn then noticed Tempest talking to a mare, and felt somewhat jealous.

Sole was confused when she jumped back, but quickly shook it off once he heard about this so-called deal. "He won't touch you, I'll break him in half if he even lays a hoof on you!" He said adamantly "how many girls does he do this to?" He asked, as he looked at her crappy room with anger.

"Many....but she has one that keeps us all in check...then once she ketches us doing something wrong she drags us to him. Then we go into the correction room" she shook her head "I don't wanna go there....I DON'T WANNA GO!" She screamed and cried at the same time. She fell to the floor in tears.

SharpShot looked at Scarlet as she talk. She looked over at Curious when she was done talking and laughed a bit, she could tell Curious was getting annoyed. She watched as Scarlet trotted off then followed. She looked over to Curious "Your sister is pretty...talkative and, well, excitable it seems" SharpShot whispered to Curious then laughed

Crimson growled and cracked his neck, "I'll go with you, I have a few words to say to the resident asshole.....don't worry, I won't hurt him.....but if he says even ONE bad thing about my luna.....he'll be swallowing his teeth...." said crimson threateningly as he followed ivy.

 

Umbra put on a fake smile, "well, I've always been such a HUGE fan of prince blueblood, and was thrilled when i got this invite in the mail, so I got here as fast as I could.....why?" Asked umbra innocently.

"You don't know the half of it," Curious said evenly. "the other half being that I can get just as excited, if not more..." he had no intention of falling into that habit, and thankfully his Sister's presence always put him in a more dour mood. "If she wasn't so trustworthy I would not bother following her lead."

Sole quickly wrapped her in a comforting hug, his body now trembling, not in fear, but pure rage. "I swear on the princesses, you'll never go back there. I'll make sure of it..." he said quietly "I don't usually hit mares, but this bitch needs it!" He stood up slowly and began to walk to the door "blueblood is a dead man!" He growled.

She shook her head "no sole, he has friends that are stronger than you....many if them are. And then they'll come after me." She curled up as the stress was to much for her to handle. So she decided to keep her mouth shut before she had said to much that could get him on her.

Ivy nodded. "I hope for his sake that he doesn't." She said, smiling slightly.

 

Tempest simply smiled. "Oh, no specific reason." He said. "I was just a bit curious. Anyway, I guess I'll see you later, Grey." The cyan pegesus then trotted away, and followed Ivy and Crimson.

 

Aqua noticed Tempest and trotted beside him. "Something isn't right, I think it may have something to do with that pony you were talking to." She whispered.

 

Tempest nodded. "I'll keep that in mind. I don't think Blueprick is behind this, though. Dark forces are at work here. That I know." He said.

Sole turned to her, determination burning in his eyes "I don't care if I have to fight a god, those bastards are gonna get everything that's coming to them... and then some!" He walked over to her and gave her annother comforting hug "I'm not just gonna stand around and let my friends get treated like this... I don't care if that bastard has a million ponies stronger then me, I'll kick all their asses!" He said quietly.
