Jinx returned, and rolled her pinprick eyes. "Oh, you're talking about Canterlot Insane Asylum," she replied, with a snort of laughter. "That one doesn't bother us in the slightest. The one Jay's talking about is the Criminal Asylum; Equestria's biggest secret, that I managed to find out from a doctor who, shall we say, fell into my hooves."

 

Jinx indicated one of the cutie marks sewn to her cloak, which was of a serpent entwined around a staff. "He didn't want to talk about it at first," Jinx said, carelessly. "But I soon managed to persuade him otherwise. Think he's currently in the Canterlot Insane Asylum at the moment."

(OOC: you ruined the joke!)

Shimmers scratched his head. "I am afraid I was not listening. May you please repeat the past few lines of conversation?"

*We were on about that bad hospital you went to.*

"Ah. Never mind." He looked down at his hoof. It appears I have been attempting to digest myself again."

What the ponies didn't notice was that since the newcomer arrived, their shadows had started behaving oddly... They weren't being affected by the sun or any surrounding light, instead they were all stretching toward the small fountain in the middle of the town square they were in. All of a sudden, their shadows all shot to the fountain and coated it in darkness. A low chuckle could be heard as any dark personas that were controlling their host's body were shot back into the host's mind. The water stopped working and it erupted in purple and green flames as the dark personas were summoned to the fountain. A moment later, a streak of pure darkness shot up into the sky, changed course, and the personas were returned to their hosts. The flames evaporated and the town square looked the same as it had been moments before. Everypony's shadows returned to normal.

 

((Okay, so it's not the best, but meh. It's what I thought up for the plot,, and I'm going with it.))

 

 

Broken watched the conversation and looked on with mild curiosity as Shimmer's eyes rolled back.

((For some reason, I can talk about blood and all that crap from earlier and have no problem, but I can barely bring myself to say someone's eyes rolled back into their head. *shudder*))

Not caring enough to join in the conversation, Broken looked around out of boredom, and saw the fountain suddenly become cloaked in... darkness? A low, evil chuckle came from the fountain and Broken's brow furrowed.

'Hey, Fallen... Earlier you were talking about dark energy... Did you mean like this?' She asked as the fountain's water stopped working.

Nothing.

She didn't even sense Fallen being there. Since Fallen had entered her mind a few years ago, Broken Cloud had been able to sense her, there in her mind. Now, that sensation was gone. Broken loved the feeling, having forgotten what it felt like, but it was short-lived as pure darkness shot up into the sky and Fallen returned.

"Hello again."

'What the hell, Fallen? Where'd you go? Is this your doing?'

"I went to meet someone, in a sense. Well, more like I was summoned.. It's none of your business, really."

Broken groaned. She'd have to wait to find out. Fallen was never good with secrets. With a mental state like Fallen's, it must be easy to forget that you're supposed to keep things secret.

"I'm back" Deranged said speaking for the first time since Equinox gained control back. "Well took you a while to speak where the hell did you go" Equinox asked. "A gentleman never tells his secrets to anyone" Deranged said to Equinox as he always messed with him. "Whatever Deranged"
