He helped her purchase her skiing gear before leading her to the ski lift. The main mountain looked huge, but he was taking her to the little bunny slope, working her into the sport easily. He sat down in the bench thing of the lift and patted the seat next to him, looking at Star.

 

Star gulped and walked over to sit down next to Dusk.

She hesitated slightly but sat down and jumped as the ski lift started a pulled them up the mountain, as the rose higher, she grabbed onto Dusk and stared down at the ground below them, her whole body shaking...her wings were under her coat so she was quite scared of falling as she held onto Dusk's foreleg. "H-How l-l-long is this r-ride?" She asked, not taking her eyes off the ground below them.

"Actually, that sounds delightful. But I'll get an earful from Celestia if when I get back I tell her that all I did all week was stay in the room. She expects me to learn how to ski or snowboard. My choice. But I would love to just stay here with you." She said, shuddering as his hooves caressed her. she ran a hoof down his torso.

Star forced her eyes away from the ground...instead she looked at the lift in front of them, only just beginning to notice Dusk's hoof around her.

She blushed and smiled slightly as she looked back down...her smile quickly faded and she looked back up to see that it was time to get off which looked slightly tricky.

She watched the ponies in front of them jump off while the lift was still moving and gulped...then it was their turn. She quickly jumped off and proceeded to fall into a pile of snow...

Rambler fake pouted. "Aww, doesn't Celestia ever let you have any fun? Well, I used to ski a little bit. I guess I might be able to teach you from what I remember. But I think we can at least afford to spend the rest of today in here, can't we? I'll order room service, and we can just... well I'm sure we'll find something to do."

Cascade turned uncomfortably into her room, and dumped her extra warm things in there. She walked back outside, out onto the snowy mountainside, and was pleased to see that her earmuffs kept her warm. She wriggled excitedly, and looked around. She didn't know how to snow ski, and she didn't even have anypony to laugh at her for slipping and sliding in all the wrong directions... She looked up at the slopes, of which she was still at the bottom, forlornly.

"I kinda want to learn how to snowboard. We can learn together. I would love to spend the day with you in here, in fact, I think I'm going to do just that." Minath said, and started running her hoof up and down Rambler's spine, and started trailing kisses from his neck up to his lips.

Rambler shuddered as her hoof ran up his spine. "Alright, if you want to snowboard, that's fine. I guess I'll try to learn with you, although I'm not sure how good I'll really be at it. I was never even a very good skier."

Minath chuckled.

 

"Imagine my balance on a snowboard. I'm sure I'll be all wet by the time we're finished." She realized just how sexual that sounded, and tried to clarify. "I mean, with melted snow! And when we're done snowboarding!"

 

Minath's face was scarlet with blush.

Rambler burst out laughing. "Yeah... well, I'm sure we'll both be all wet when we're finished. But at least we'll be cold, wet, and embarrassed together, and that's something, right? I don't know, it's not quite as nice as being warm, dry, and... not embarrassed together, but it could be worse."

"Like, oh, I don't know, cold, wet, embarrassed, and nude in public. That would definitely be worse." Minath laughed at the thought.

 

"But I would prefer to remain warm. You know, you're warm. Maybe if I get chilly I could crawl into your lap and that would warm me up."

Rambler grinned that same grin she'd seen so many times before. "Well, I certainly wouldn't object to that. I guess I'll just have to try and stay extra warm for you, then. I wouldn't want you to catch a cold or something because of me." He chuckled and nuzzled her affectionately.

Minath grinned her lopsided grin, one she only ever used when she was drunk or with Rambler.

 

"That's a good idea. And I'll try to stay dry so I don't make you all wet." Realizing that sounded very inappropriate, Minath tried to correct herself, but fumbled with her words.

 

"I mean, with melted snow! Snow, I tell you!" Her face was bright scarlet again.

@@Midnight Blade, Aura smiled and waited for Midnight to finish. Taking in his features, he was actually quite handsome.

When he was done, she trotted alongside him, then waved a friendly wave as they parted ways to get their things from their rooms.

she grabbed her winter coat and brightt blue leg warmers and socks, then plopped a blue touque on her head and was on her way.

She waited patiently in the lobby for Midnight Blade

Cascade nearly toppled over. The tiny mare managed to catch herself just in time. She looked up a bit disdainfully at the pony who had bumped into her. "Be a little more careful, won't you?" She implored reproachfully, brushing snow off of one of her knees. It was rather deeper than she had expected.

Rambler burst into laughter again. "Well, alright then. That's probably for the best. Of course, knowing you, you'll probably end up making me get all wet anyway. It wouldn't be the first time." Even he blushed a little at that. "Okay, I'll admit, that one might have been going a bit too far."

Minath's face had a look of mock-horror, but she quickly lost it, then doubled over laughing.

 

She was still chuckling when she crawled into Rambler's muscular forelegs.

 

"You know, I think I might be a little chilly now, i agape mou." (i agape mou = "my love" in greek)

Shady glanced towards the mare she had bumped with a flat expression placed upon her features. "Sorry, didn't see you there." She stated in a calm, almost cold tone of voice. Looking the pony over, she held back a slight smirk. Maybe she could use knowing somepony here for her advantage. "Are you alright?" Her tone was suddenly warmer than her last statement.

Rambler nuzzled her. "I don't know why, but there's something about that... when you talk like that it just drives me wild. Tá tú díreach sexy chomh." (Gaelic- You're just so sexy.) He kissed her neck and stroked her mane.

Minath chuckled at their language battle. Two ponies being bi-lingual in a relationship when the second language was different just made everything more interesting.

"Oh, finally, I get to know your name. It's great to meet you, Rush. And yes, I do work out for quite a while. I never really noticed that it would show at all.", Freezing replied, definitely forgetting about the possible hook up of her brother and her new friend.

 

 

"I would like that. Thanks, Snowdream.", Scorching replied, but not before seeing that Snowdream was looking back over at her sister. He looked over as well, seeing that she was talking to that same stallion again... OK, just calm down, Scorch... Remember what Snowdream told you. She's old enough to not be watched over constantly... But... There's still something that I don't trust about him...

((Sorry for the delayed response, I (quite ironically) was skiing all day long ))

 

Snowdream saw him glance at his sister and wanted to find a way to make him take his mind off her.

 

"You, me, ski slope, five minutes." Snowdream commanded, trotting off to her room. She closed the door behind her and went to her unpacked bags.

 

Hmm, what do I need for skiing... Snowdream thought to herself. She grabbed her scarf and benie and put them on. Levetating her ski's she exited her room and walked out to the ski slopes. After a minute wait she decided she could get a run in before Scorching showed up.

She clicked into he ski's and got on the chair lift. After a few minutes she reached the top and started to ski down.

 

She sighed at the freedom she felt whilst skiing, whilst her practiced hooves managed the slope with ease. She reached the bottom of the slope in good time, skidding to a stop, spraying powder snow over a few ponies.

Rambler laughed. He was so glad she finally took a vacation so they could have fun like this together. "Tá tú nach bhfuil go dona go dtí seo go bhfuil laethanta saoire, sé? Agus má bhí tú do bhealach a dhéanamh gur mhaith leat a d'fhan sa bhaile. Oh right, you can't understand that, can you? Well, I guess you'll just have to use your imagination and make up your own idea of what that meant, then." (You're vacation isn't that bad so far, is it? And if you had your way you'd have stayed home.)
