Star was still blushed quite a bit but nodded and put her skis back on over her boots...which ponies have...shut up.

After getting her skis on properly she skied over to a tree and leaned against it, looking over at Dusk to see if he was ready. She still hadn't really gotten a look at how high up they were.

Dusk followed her, stopping right next to her, turning his head to look at her smiling. "Ready?" he asked rhetorically. "Let's go!" he exclaimed, kicking off and zooming down the slightly trickier slope quickly, enjoying the rush of flying down the slope so fast. It wasn't the best, but a small slope like this is still really fun.

Star watched Dusk shoot down the hill with a smile on her face...until she realized how much bigger this one was compared to the other beginner hill.

She gulped and let herself slooooooowly slide down the hill...then she started gaining speed.

She made sure she went through what Dusk had said. She quickly turned and went down the hill in a zigzag pattern but was going quite quickly none the less...she was actually quite enjoying it until she reached the bottom...and couldn't stop.

She let out a small squeak before skiing straight into a large pile of snow. Her flank was the only visible part of her body, sticking out of the snow.

A moment later she managed to get loose and fall back onto her flank with a quiet *Thump*. She wiped the snow from her face before rubbing her forehead with her hoof.

Star blushed slightly as Dusk placed his scarf around her neck. "Th-Thanks..." She said, almost slipping again as she pulled off her skis and followed him back towards the mane building.

Fire decided she had spent enough time in the spring and decided to get out.

She grabbed a towel and started drying herself off as she made her way back towards her room.

@@Midnight Blade

Aura Feather laughed at Midnight's name for the chairlift as they walked towards it.

"It's called a chairlift, or so I'm told." She informed him, but not to be rude.

She sat beside him on the chair and looked around as they were carried up. The view was beautiful, and she smiled, taking in the scenery.

'It's nice up here. I'm glad I came to Skyheart.'

The chair got to the top, and she hopped off.

"Ready to try to snowboard?" she asked, turning towards Midnight.

@@Alex Kennedy,

Minath blushed and pulled away from the kiss to take a breath.

"Well I would he doesn't. I would have to punch him if he did." Minath said, and continued the kiss from before she started talking.

'Shut up self, just kiss him. Stop thinking. Tongue is good, I should do that...'

@,

Rambler kissed back, enjoying every moment of it and trying to make it last as long as possible before he eventually had to come up for air. For a few seconds he just laid on his back panting. Eventually he turned to her. "Are you sure we can't just do this for the whole vacation?"

@@Alex Kennedy,

Minath gave a lopsided smile.

"I wish. C'mon, we still need to unpack. I know you have your flask in one of those bags, and I want some of it." Minath said, and levitated her bag to the dresser, and hanging up things when needed. Being the total female she was, she brought her own body wash and hair care things, so she put those in the bathroom.

@,

Rambler groaned. "What's the point of unpacking if we're just going to have to pack it up again eventually? I can live out of a suitcase just fine. But if you want a drink, I suppose I can do that much for you." He reached into one of his bags and pulled out a large silver flask. "I know you already know this, but that stuff is strong. Be careful, or at least try to pace yourself. I don't want you passing out before we get to have any more fun."

@@Alex Kennedy,

Minath chuckled.

"Because it makes it easier to find everything, silly." She said, and tapped his nose with her hoof. "And my brain just works that way."

She took the flask and took a deep drink, nearly gagging and sputtering. "That stuff is strong, but I need to start drinking now or else I'm not going to be any fun later." Minath said, and winked. Even though she and Rambler hadn't done it, she still teased him.

Rambler laughed. "Oh, don't you go tempting me like that, now. Not unless you're willing to deliver anyway. Also, give me that flask. I'm way too sober right now, and the only solution is whiskey." He grabbed the flask from her and took a hearty swig before handing it back.

Midnight laughed too.

"I like my name for it better, so I'll just stick with it."

While they were going up Midnight admired the beautifull mountains.

He jumped off at the same moment as Aura did.

"Give me just a couple of seconds."

Midnight's horn started glowing, the same color as his eyes. A somewhat transparent snowboard with some weird but cool markings started to appear from top to bottom. It was covered with what looked like purply flames. They weren't hot, in fact they were somewhat colder than average room temerature.

(I join late... What day is it in the RP?)

A carriage slowly rolled up to the entrance of the Ski Resort. After stopping, a white earth pony mare named Cleo with pink and green punk hair climbed out. She threw the bits into the carriage and collected her suitcases before heading for the reception desk. She checked in and took her key from off the desk and went up to her room.

The mare threw her things down and collapsed on the bed with a sigh. She looked out her bedroom window, the view of the mountains soothed her. The pony looked at her suitcases.

-I'll unpack later. Don't feel like it now.- Cleo thought, looking disdainfully at the luggage. -I'll go downstairs to grab a coffee, I sure as heck need it right now.-

Cleo went downstairs to the dining hall. -Wonder if I'll bump into anypony on the way. Heh.-

((I apologize for all the waiting. I've been wanting to wait on Snowdream, but you know, she's got a different time zone than us...))

"Let's go on ahead, Rush. I'm not in any-- heehee --rush, to get on." Freezing was laughing on the outside, but on the inside, she was mentally facehoofing herself for making such a horrible pun...

@,

Rush chuckled a bit to humor her. "Yeah... right." He then got on the ski lift. "You know, I've been told some ponies are afraid of heights, but I'm the exact opposite. I actually love being high up. It's a shame I'm not a pegasus like you. In fact, really the one downside of skiing is that you're back down to the bottom at the end.

"It's all right. All you have to remember is that you have to put more power into your legs to turn, tilt your skis at an angle to slow down, and careful when coming to a stop! Otherwise, it's like you're just sliding down a hill!", Freezing assured him.

((Sorry, I rushed your part to get out of the house.))

_

"Oh, sorry, Snowdream... I thought you were cold, considering you have just the beanie on...", Scorching said, looking a bit aways to hide a blush.

"Cold? How could I be cold when I've got a hot stallion to keep me warm?" She asked with a blush.

well that probably tops the list of corny things that you've ever said! Snowdream thought, snuggling up to him as a particularly strong gust of wind hit them.

They reached the top of the lift and got of, sliding a bit away from the lift and towards the top of the slope

"Well, it's not that I hate going down. I mean, yeah, I love being at the bottom, but what I love is to climb up the slope without using my wings. That way, you got a shot of going even more.", Freezing replied, getting on the lift and sitting next to Rush, as their chair started to head up towards the top of the slope.

Scorching had to laugh out at that remark. It was sort of cheesy, yet true since he was hot. Well, it was mainly because his skin was warm to the touch.

But once they had gotten to the slope, he stood up with Snowdream, looking right at her and giving one of his trademark smirks to her. "Wanna race?"

Rush nodded as the ski lift began to go up. "I suppose that's a good point. Although I guess wouldn't really know anything about not using your wings, since I don't have any to begin with. Or maybe that means I know it better than anyone. Oh well, it's not important."

You can do this Snow, don't let a beginner beat you!

"Set..."

"Go!" Snowdream pushed off and started speeding down the slope, gaining speed as she kept her skis parralell, not turning to control her descent on the slope.

She narrowly avoided a cluster of trees and reluctantly slowed down, knowing is she maintained her current speed she was mature to hurt herself or somepony else.

She continued down the mountain, her speed reduced but by no means slow. Suddenly he hit a patch of ice. Because she had hit the ice at such high speeds she lost control. She hit a patch of rocks and her skis came off her boots, whist she was sent tumbling into some bushes.

Scorching pushed his poles into the snow, trying to get a good start, but he had saw Snowdream went right past him. Keeping his skis as parallel as possible, he risked something that could hurt him: he opened up his wings, but only one of them, seeing that he could turn easier than forcing weight on his body. That seemed to keep his body more steady. He looked back to Snowdream, who had just sprang out of her skis and into some bushes. "SNOWDREAM!", he cried out, making some adjustments to where he was turning into the bushes, but also carefully coming into a stop as well. He was improving quite well now, but he was more focused on helping his friend, or what could be more than a friend.

He searched around in the bushes, trying to find her. "Snow! Snowdream?! Are you all right?!"

...Crap, that sort of came off as if I was scolding him...

well this is embarrassing...

"Scorching? I'm okay, I'm over here!" She called back. Snowdream started to untangle herself from the bush, branches poking and scratching her the whole time. After a short struggle she tore herself free from the bush. She had branches stuck in her knotted mane, they would need to be removed with a brush.

Snowdream shakily got the her hooves. As soon as she put weight on her front right hoof she felt a sharp pain.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" She cried, hopping with her injured hoof in the air. She stood still and tested her hoof again. As soon as she put weight on it again she felt the pain again.

It doesn't feel broken, I've probably just sprained it... she thought to herself with a sigh.

Scorching, while he was trying to get the branches out of Snowdream's mane, was overlooking the injury she sustained to her hoof. Let's see... Can't put weight on it, there's not any visual damage except for a bruise... She might've sprained it, or she bruised the bone... Let's just hope it's a sprain...

no! I can't go to the hospital! What if they decide I need to stay there for a bit, that would be torture! she thought.

"Can we just go back to the lodge, I promise if my hoof gets any worse ill go to the hospital." She begged, "please?" She said, reluctantly getting on his back. Snowdream new the help was necessary to get down the mountain but felt awkward accepting it,like she was admitting defeat.
