This a friend of mine who I have drawn as a pony.

Rather describing him in a third-person perspective, this is how I would describe him, but from the eyes of my OC:

(Spoilered because it is a very long description)

"I'm not exactly sure where to start. Puns, I guess.

Well, he and our science teacher often are involved in short pun exchanged during class. He can create great puns in other classes as well, but it happens most in science class. He often gets a positive response when he makes a pun about protons. Surely by now, he has used so many chemistry puns that all the good ones argon. He never allows for the classroom to be boron. He calls his work "PUNishment." And as my science teacher's father once said: "Two thirds of a Pun? P.U." One of the other classes where he likes to pun is guitar class, but those puns usually seem out of tune.
Alright, anyway... Other than his punning ability, he is clearly fond of guns. He and two other friends of his, Blitzkrieg and Ballistic Bloke, often discuss war-related things and guns and such. Mind you: I have absolutely no idea what on Earth they are saying. I can forge a theory about the deep, dark, complex boundaries of space, yet I can never understand most of the words they say. They could say something like "How do you like that one M20 Assault Rifle with the 34 cal. bullets?" (NOTE: Don't bash me if that gun doesn't exist. Like I said, I know nothing about guns.) and one of them would respond: "Oh, yeah, That is a good rifle." And I would just step away from the conversation because I have no clue what the hay they are talking about.
Aside from guns, he also is interested in writing stories. I remember one of his first stories was based around a futuristic world where the government disappeared (Or something like that.) I don't know if that story is going to do well, since he describes each gun by its code name. Surely readers, much like me, wouldn't know what he is talking about when all those strange letters and numbers pop up in a sentence.
One of his traits that I like the most is his fondness for bow ties. Seriously, this kid loves his bow ties. I believe he adopted the phrase "Bow ties are cool" from being a Whovian (A fan of the show Doctor Who, which is a show that I REALLY want to watch!). In fact, our history teacher created a weekly holiday where you could freely wear a bow tie to school. He, of course, participated each and every day. The history teacher also wanted him to continue the trend after he left recently, and he is doing just that.
He is also pretty religious. He goes to Church twice a week. I don't have much else to say here other than he and I don't follow the same religion. In fact, we almost follow opposite religions. (My religion being a strange fusion of atheism and deism, and his being baptism.)
Speaking of which, he would make for a really great friend. To me, it is kind of strange, since we follow near-opposite religions, have different personalities, and aren't very related at all, yet, he still acts like a friend to me. Also, there was a time where he showed that he legitimately cares. It was when the most annoying kid in our class was left out of a field trip, and was sitting alone at his own group of tables. That "annoying kid" was constantly the subject of the many pestered students in our class, and once almost committed suicide over it. The table that he, I, and his other friends sat was full when he came in. So, he went to sit with the kid alone at his table. Then, someone from the table with all of his friends and I left, leaving a spot for him to change over to our table. However, even though he used to hate the annoying kid, he stayed with him, even though the table with all of his other friends had another desk open. I wasn't sure if it was just him being lazy or if it was that he started to care for the annoying kid after he considered suicide. Later on, I realized that he genuinely cared for the kid, since he was playing with the kid after that time. At that point, my respect for him shot up quickly, even though that kid was really annoying.
In contrast with that, he had an enemy in his first few years of middle school. Autumn Gale, I think was her name. I think the only reason why she hated him was because he couldn't keep his mouth shut. It was funny, she drastically favored me over him since I hardly ever said a word. I remember relating his relation ship with her to a certain experience of my own, since there was a duo of kids that I hated for a while. They seemed pretty deranged and hyperactive, and one time mentioned that I had "Fat bones," which I took the wrong way and thought that he just called me "Fat." To be honest, I think the "Fat Bones" thing was a true compliment. Since I am a constant milk drinker, my bones are probably really thick. Either way, I overreacted and wanted to stab the kid. I literally said that as well. Now, I don't mind him much."

If you don't really care about his personality and such, then how did I do on the art?

The extent of my interest is in things that don't exist.

Or, at least, things that aren't in the basic man's senses
