Broken Cloud noticed Jay, galloping down the street below her. She dove down until she was just above the mare.

"Hey," she called out keeping pace with her in the air. 'Where are you running to? Hope you're not trying to leave before showing me where to buy that potion."

@@Mint Drop, Jay halted. "I won't," she said, screwing up her face. "It's just... Jinx is back. Not entirely, cuz she's fallen back asleep now, but she broke free a moment ago and it won't be long til she's back for good. I'd better show you the shop now, while I still can. If we wait too long, Jinx will be free completely and she'd stop me showing you."

Vesper paced back and forth, awkwardly shuffling his hooves. He wasn't sure what to do. Should he stay? Should he leave and explore town? Should he try to get home? He was so confused and frustrated. He finally walked over to Forest, curious what he was doing.

 

Forest raised an eyebrow at Vesper's curiosity but said nothing, he just flipped the eggs pancakes...and some sort of strange sizzling strip...of something, it smelt delicious. (Baaaacooon...Forest eats meat and other ponies don't (axcept Vesper...sorda)...yeah) He put some eggs and pancakes on a plate before putting the rest of the food onto another, including the strips of...whatever it was. He held the plate without the meat out for Vesper. "Y'want some?" He asked.

Thing stopped and watched a nearby pony scream, have a conversation with herself...and run off...just the kinda pony Thing liked.

She ran off after the pony and slowed down a few feet away in time to hear the mare say something to who seemed to be her friend."Showing who what?" She asked, approaching the two ponies with a smile on her thin skinny face. "Forgive me...I noticed you looked rather upset back there and thought it best to come and see if everything was alright..." She said, holding a hoof out to shake Jay's. "My name is Zeanex." She said, her lips curving into a grin.

"Ah, damn." Broken muttered. "Sure, I'm not doing anything. Probably a good idea, and I'll try to keep Fallen at bay. Lead the way."

Her wings were getting tired, so she landed and waited for Jay to show her. Suddenly, a mare came up to them.

Broken narrowed her deep blue eyes at the mare's grin. Something about her was off. She didn't trust her.

"Hi... She was probably wondering where I was," she lied, partly to make a cover for Jay, and partly because of her distrust of this 'Zeanex'. "Right, Jay?" she turned to the mare in question

Vesper's face contorted into a look of disgust. "N-no...no....I...I don't want any...want...I mean...I want...chicken...." His belly grumbled. He was hungry. This made being away from his chickens even worse. He shuffled his hooves awkwardly. "Kn-know where can I find one?" At this rate...he'd have to feed...from something....or somepony...else.

"That's right," Jay replied, with a stammer. Jinx, altho still a bit sleepy, had heard enough to intrigue her. "Zeanex, eh?" she said, cutting across Jay's feeble voice. "Sounds interesting. Sadly, at the moment, I cannot help you. I do not have full control. But perhaps in the future..."

Thing ignored Broken and leaned down to whisper in Jay's ear. "You are quite the interesting mare...and I do wish we would be able to meet again in the future...have a good day, Jinx." She leaned back, smiling before she turned to Broken, her smile replaced by a look of annoyance. "And you should be more careful who you lie to my dear...it could get you in trouble. big. trouble." She said, sneering at broken before patting Jay on the shoulder and walking down the street.

Forest raised an eyebrow. "You too?" He said.
He glanced around before turning and walking into a room at the back, opening a cellar door. "Follow me, Vesper." He said.

Broken glared at Zeanex. Her annoyance gave her a weak spot in her mind, and Fallen used it to take over. Broken immediately took control, but could only keep Fallen from dashing after the mare. Zeanex was still in earshot, but Fallen still yelled, 

"Who the hell are you to tell us to be careful? I should go over there right now and-" She stopped talking as Broken took full control and yelled, "Fallen, shut UP!"

"Ha, you were worried about ponies thinking you were crazy, were you? I don't think screaming at yourself to shut up is going to help much."

She turned around and casually walked back over to the mares. "So, looks like Jinx isn't the only one trapped in somepony's mind...maybe you two would be willing to join me for a...small walk?" She asked. Before either of the mares could stop her, she wrapped her wings around the two mares (both wingsnlooked rathermold...droopy feather's, some falling off) and trotted down the street, forcing them both to join her. "I do love a pony with a mind like mine...so finding two is quite nice...how would you two fine mares feel about...giving me a hoof in changing this city...for the better of course." She said, happily.

Hanging all around the room was...meat, some dripping with blood that looked to be new...and some surrounded in flies. Forest pointed at a dripping piece of flesh in the corner. "That'll be the best ya can get...it's duck." He said, his voice becoming rather dark.

Forest trotted down the stairs into a rather smelly basement. He lit a torch, revieling the source of the smell.

Hanging all around the room was...meat, some dripping with blood that looked to be new...and some surrounded in flies. Forest pointed at a dripping piece of flesh in the corner. "That'll be the best ya can get...it's duck." He said, his voice becoming rather dark.

Vesper follows, his face contorting into a look of disgust at the sights and smells. He was happy when Forest finished speaking, however. He slowly walked across the room to the duck and began licking up the blood. It wasn't very pleasant, but it was good enough to live on. When he was done, he walked back to Forest solemnly. "Th-thanks...."

Broken Cloud was taken by surprise as the mare returned, and Fallen took over, making her appearances fully change.

Fallen grumbled a bit as the pony pushed her on, but what she said intrigued her.

"Changing this city, hmm?" her lips curled into a dememted grin. "I would like to see some changes to this wretched city, preferably less ponies, and more blood. If these two... conditions, shall we say, can be met or, better yet,  incorporated, then I would consider helping you."

@, Jay fainted, losing consciousness as the strange mare came back and forced her and her friend along the street. Jinx took over at once, smiling at Zeanex in a companiable and deranged way.

 

"I'd like that very much," she said. "Especially now I have sole control. Won't be forever of course, but I can always make Jay do what I want when I'm around. She took a potion to send me asleep, well, she won't get that chance again if I can help it! I want to see it rain blood. I want to justify my existance by ending the existances of others... eventually. Torture is fun when you know how to do it so that the victim stays alive for a long time..."

Thing grinned. "I think the three of us were destined to meet each other. Blood will rain from the sky, ponies will eat their best friends alive, Parents will murder their children...it'll be simply glorious." She said. "Now...here's what I want you to do...before any of this can happen, we need to create a bit of a panic. You two may do whatever you like, burn buildings, kill ponies...whatever toots your horn. One rule is that you must Always come back to me when you're done, I can keep you safe from the guards...I can get to you in a flash, all you must do is say my name. Alright? Alright." She said, giving both Jinx and Fallen a kiss on the forehead. "All I ask in return is that you...worship me...you see, I'm much more than a normal pony. Bring me the bodies of the dead so I may feed. Cover the streets in blood so I may feel at home. And then you will both become the two strongest mares in the world." She whispered.

The torch on the meat hanging around the room cast eerie shadows all over the walls and bloody floor as Forest moved up the stairs. He stopped half way up and looked down at Vesper. "You coming?" He asked, his voice still rather...cold...absent of emotion.

He followed slowly, feeling very uncomfortable. That room was so dark and creepy. He hoped that he would never have to go back there again. That mist had to disappear soon..."C-coming!" he exclaimed, hurrying after Forest. "U-um...Forest? Why do you need all of that meat?...m-most ponies only eat plants..."

At the mare's description for things to come, Fallen's deranged smile widened.  

"Ponies eating others alive and parents murdering their children, hmm? I must say... that... sounds so beautiful I cannot put it into words... It will be glorious." she said.

"Of course... I was more than likely going to cover the streets in blood at any rate." she chuckled darkly. What she had planned in mind was not for the faint of heart, and upon hearing  what Jinx wanted, she wanted to try her own hoof at torturing yet again. 

"So, when may I start ruining and ending lives?"

Forest closed the door to the basement after Vesper had left and put out the torch before he sat down, his face vacant of expression. "Long story." He muttered, pulling out his pipe and (After putting in some Tobacco) he lit it and took a few puffs. "You get your fill?" He asked, looking up from a spot on the floor to look at Vesper.

Vesper sat down at the table solemnly. "Y-you...t-that'll be fine for awhile. I...I'm not hungry....anymore...Thank you...Y-you're...you're a good friend...th-thank you...for...um...letting me stay here..." Vesper shuffled his hooves, unsure what else to say or do. "Um..." He looked around awkwardly.

He stretched his forelegs before sitting up straight. "Bet y'thought you were the only pony who ate meat...er...drank blood in your case." He said, grinning.

"Every few days...y-you....you eat that?" he asked, unsure what to think of this. Part of him was shocked. Part surprised. Part comforted at someone somewhat like him. Part of him was scared. But mostly he was curious. "W-why? Y-you're normal..." He looked him up and down for some abnormality that might reveal an answer to his concerns.

At Zeanex's order, Jinx grinned maniacally. "What fun!" she exclaimed. "I always like the way that ponies react to fire. Some manage to escape of course, but I'm sure that you will deal with those, right, my friend?"

 

Jinx's horn glowed for a moment, then an incinderary spell flew from her horn and hit the clinic full on, turning it into a raging inferno.

Fallen mirrored the grin.

"Of course," she said. "This will be glorious; i haven't done any killing in far too long."

"It's been three days since that little collab withthe ponies in Invermare."

"Yes, Broken Cloud, any amount of time longer than two hours is far too long." she chuckled.

She watched with delight as the clinic went ablaze. The terrified and pained screams made her maniacal grin widen. She cackled with glee. 

"I quite like your spell there, it's quite effective, and I don't get to see burned bodies all too often," she said as a small Pegasus tried to 

get out. Grabbing the foal, she looked her over and decided, "I'd like to watch this one squirm, while I wait for the others. Any ideas, Jinx?"

Forest raised an eyebrow. "Because I'm not most. There's allot about me that is hidden behind my pony look, Vesper. I, am most certainly not a normal pony." He said, standing up to get a glass of water. "I had an accident when I was a youngster which changed my mind and body forever, since then, I eat meat to keep the monster inside of me at bay. But it still gets out of course...and it should be getting out quite soon." He said, looking around at the calender hanging on the wall.

He sighed and looked back at Vesper. "I understand if you don't want to be around me...have you seen the cabin that's across the river on the north side of the city...just on the far hill? Maybe you've heard the scream's coming from there...well, that's where I live." He said.
