*Apollo and Dash were also ready to go. They opened their wings and began to take off.*

Static looked up at the chariot, waving to them as they landed, "Took ya long enough" he chuckled.

*Apollo and Dash landed the chariot.*

"Hey Static! How does the situation look?" *Apollo asked.*

Derpy got out of her harness and flopped over on the ground, panting hard. Ten walked over to her and gave her an affectionate nuzzle. "youre the best, you know that?" Derpy was too tired to answer, she just grinned.

"d'awwww now aint that sweet" said Static teasingly, "Maybe at this rate you two wont be getting that divorce after all".

 

Static looked at Apollo, "Well, it seems there are guards posted at all entrances to the castle, and pegasi guards are circling the perimeter. Other than that, shouldnt be too difficult to get in... as long as we provide the proper distraction"...

"Okay. So Static and Ten are on the distraction team, while me and Twilight are on the infiltration team."

*Apollo looked over to Rainbow Dash*

"Would you mind being our lookout Dashie? Keep an eye in on the sky?"

*Dash gave a small salute.* "No problem. I've got you covered."

*Apollo smiled and gave Dash a warm look.* "Thanks. You stay safe. And if there is any trouble, you know what to do."

*Dash smiled back and nodded*

Power Ten grinned heartily, flicking his night vision goggles over his face. "let's do this!" he tucked several playcolt magazines into his harness and beckoned for Static to follow.

"Okay, so the plan is, Static and Ten, you two crate a distraction that will lure the guards away from the North end of the castle. There is a secret entrance there that we can use to gain instant access the the throne room."

Static laughed as he followed, "And why do you have playcolt in your saddlebag? Wingboner is much better... IM KIDDING!!!" he continued to laugh as they walked, still wondering why he had them...

"you'll see. We need to get to where there are a lot of guards first."

"Gotcha, lets go!"

Power Ten made his way towards one of the guards barracks, not checking to see if static followed.

Static followed close behind, sparks coming off his mane as he got more excited...

Ten took a small device out from his harness, and threw it up onto the roof. He turned around and motioned for Static to stay put. He then shot up rapidly to the roof, pulled by an unseen force. After a second, his head reappeared over the side of the roof. "clear" he whispered, beckoning for Static to come up.

Static nodded and proceeded to follow Ten

"we're going to need you to get into some guard armor. I'll be right back" Ten disappeared into the shadows, returning minutes later with a full set of golden armor and helmet. "I got you the captain's armor. Fortunately he's out at the moment and the guards shouldn't know the difference. Now, you need to pay attention because I'm only saying this once.". He waited for confirmation from Static.

Static had an excited smile upon seeing the armor, but then took a look of seriousness as he waited for Ten to speak...

"you need to go into the barracks and wait until you hear me whistle this tune" ten then whistled a strange melody. "when you hear that, you need to get the entire guard together and go to the shopping square we passed on the way here. If any of the guards become suspicious, go on the offensive, threaten them, question their respect to a superior. When you get to the square, I'll make sure you get out in time." Ten flashed a devilish grin before flicking his goggles back on and disappearing over the edge of the roof. "good luck"

Static nodded and headed into the barracks, where the other guards were talking, they looked in his direction, and immediately saluted, not knowing who was underneath it, Static ran with it, nodding gruffly and saying "At ease stallions" before continuing his walk
