I actually have one of those but its lvl 50. Can the baby maker come with elemental damage? I like my smgs to be corrosive, but thats a preference of mine.

They can!  

The second one I got was a slag version but the elemental damage drops the base damage of the gun by like 6000 points

Probably not worth it then, I used the baby maker to beat hyperius the invincible, its ridiculous how much damage a fully loaded smg does when its thrown, lol.

I got a Baby Maker from someone on Steam, but It's just a non-element. I dunno how many of you guys have the Game on Steam because I feel like doing Boss Raids like Vermivorous, but I can't do any other Boss Raids without the DLC. Last time I tried to spawn a Vermivorous by myself, but I just couldn't get a varkid to turn into a pod.

Thats one raid boss I haven't beaten yet. I can't get the varkids to transform either when I'm solo. There must be some gaming algorithm that has you meet certain requirements to get them to transform all the way.

Theres no point trying solo . With one player the spawn chance is 1 in 16000 whereas with 4 players the spawn chance is 1 in 60.

Good to know, I don't play on the PC much, I prefer console gaming. Once I move to Pittsburgh we will have to set up some times throughout the week when we can just farm or raid or just play through on the hardest difficulty. Especially with the new DLC coming out.

Just got a third baby maker level 59

God this game hates me so much (this stupid character limit will be the death of me i swear... )

Keep them I might need to get one off of you when I get my DLC issues figured out. SMGs are my weapon of choice...actually I like shotguns too...but I like shooting a lot.

The vault hunters relic doesn't make it any easier to get legandaries. It's only affect is it has a chance to make a blue item drop instead of a white item.

It actually works on ALL rare drops

I've had times where i would find two legendaries in one chest and I've found quite a few E-Tech guns as well

It's called the Vault Hunters relic. You had to pre-order the game in order to get it

 

And yes, it increases drop rates of all rare loot ny 5%

I got Borderlands 2 a few weeks ago. I love playing as the Gunzerker, can restore ammo for himself (and possibly for my team). Its sweet

Heck yes that would be great. I have Axton at 50 and Maya at 34, I'll probably go and level up a Gunzerker and a mechromancer here in the next few days.

My Highest Character is the Siren and her skill build is the same as My Friends and my 2nd highest was Axton at Level 30. I dunno If I'll ever continue playing as Commando right now. I'm just Doing Gunzerker for Achievement and I have to make zero as well.

 

I got too much stuff on my siren, but I can't buy the expansions without a DLC so that's gonna be a problem for me. The only choice I have was just to transfer stuff to my other chars like a mule.

Plus a 5% increase isn't that much as the drop rate of legendaries is between 0.02% and 0.2% from the mini-boss that drops that specific item and even less from other loot sources.

I've been playing as krieg on TVHM with the DLC.

 

I've tried some of UVHM with my sniper zero and it doesn't seem too bad. I find it works out well if you use blues and purples of your level. If you try to rely on legendaries you are going to find them become useless in two to three levels.

that was just one example of a piece of luck I had...

 

 

I had legendaries come out of chests like, five+ times and I had an instance where I had one Pearlescent come out of a weapons chest and another getting dropped from a Super Badass Varkid

and this is all while using the Vault Hunter's Relic

Even though the odds are low random is still random.  Though it differs depending on which legendary item it is.

Weaker items like the longbow or veruc usually take between 20-40 kills

whereas rarer items like the bitch usually take well over 200

One legendary my game can never get enough of is the hammer buster I've found it in chests 30+ times

And when I finally finish using it and sell/trade I somehow magically find another one
