gaming What would you prefer: HALO, COD, Battlefield or Portal?

Way to group Portal with your average FPS shooters, OP. That's like comparing Pokemon to Borderlands, bruddah.

 

Out of the three besides that one, I much prefer Halo. The whole atmosphere and storyline means quite a bit to me, and I find CoD and Battlefield to be a bit of a cookie-cutter modern shooter. Halo is beginning to fall prey to this to since the release of 4, but it still has the setting and all that neither of them can beat. Battlefield is close second however, but there are many game mechanics that still need refining.

Honestly, I'm going with Portal, the other three games are just the same things over and over again...

 

Although I will admit, Halo DOES have some pretty interesting weaponry and some really beautiful landscapes.

I haven't really played portal or halo so it's between Call of Duty and Battlefield for me. 

 

I personally like both games I usually play Call of Duty for the Single Player and I focus more on multiplayer for Battlefield.

I prefer the non-pansy, skill requiring game called Gears of War 3.

 

 

But if I had to choose between them all I guess it'd be either Halo or BF3. Portal is just sosomething fun every so often, but not a go to game. CoD is just....CoD :l

I like All of them Except Cod, just because of the fact that the Community are Quite Rude, I like Halo just because its Halo, Its a Sci-Fi Shooter with an amazing Story line, I like Battlefield because of the Realism (The only non Real part is that someone can blow your brains out and then ZAP! everythings fine)

Portal all the way. But as other people have said, it's not even in the same genre as these other games, so with that in mind I'd have to go with Halo (despite being a PC gamer). Nice story, a good diverse set of weapons, and great vehicles.

 

Might I suggest getting rid of portal and replacing it with something more...shooty? What about Gears of War (I hate the game, but still), Team Fortress, Counterstrike, Half Life and Planetside? They seem to fit in with Battlefield and CoD alot more than Portal does.

My favorite kinda games are RTS

I guess that is kinda explaining the hatred for FPS since they are entirely different .-.
