News about Season 4? Woohoo! (At first I thought it would be for Equestria Girls, but this is definitely more appealing.)

This is so super duper awesome!  I thought that Season Four wasn't going to come until Winter of 2014 - January at the very earliest!

What happened for season 3 is that the date was not announced for forever... and then finally the release date was announced for season 3 sometime in October, like 3 weeks before the release actually happened.

 

They just didn't know for forever is my guess. But we never got a real date until fall last year.

 

Very very glad that they have been able to announce it before the leaves change color. I wonder, though, if DHX is feeling the pressure to get it animated asap. But late November is a good deadline to have~

 

Now I remember. Yes, they did remain mum until October; then they decided to set a later than expected premiere date. It surely was unusual as it was confusing.

 

Would DHX still be animating much of this season? I would think a lot of the principal work is finished. Then again, I have no idea how animation studios typically work their schedules. Hopefully Hasbro had the decency to confer with them before making this announcement.

I only ask because the clips shown at SDCC were not fully animated. Granted they did show us the bare bones of the animation, do it is possible that they are almost done.

I was expecting it to be sometime in December, so November 23 sounds pretty good to me. It's going to be a long four months, though.

Yeah, im so happy its been announced but its going to be such a long wait now, when it finally happens Ill be like a rocket ready to pop !

Yay for release dates! I seriously can't wait! I just want it to be here already! I bet it's gonna be awesome, if the storyboards were anything to go by! As Pinkie Pie would say...

Awesome, I can't wait! This should be amazing, though I hope they don't make it too serious! I haven't seen Equestria Girls yet, so I don't know what the new characters will be like, but they should be really interesting!
