The Trotting Dead RP

Tempest landed in Appalossa and drew his swords. He then started to patrol the small town, killing any trotters as he went.

 

In a cave deep in the everfree forest, a dragon held a piece of armour that belonged to a dear friend. "I hope this works." She thought. The dragon then sniffed the armour and, like a bloodhound, was able to track the scent. "I'm coming, Tempest." She said, before flying towards Appaloosa.

Using an alternative mode of trasport Zycrin had arrived in appalossa about a hour before his targets, this had given him time to map out the entire town and attract more trotters to town to make it more difficult for the people he was trying to kill. "This is going to be fun" he thought to him self, but with what had happen the day before, he was more cautious and carful with his planning. Using telepathy, when the train came into view he sent a message to zeta, "your first". They were the only words he spoke in his message.

Using an alternative mode of trasport Zycrin had arrived in appalossa about a hour before his targets, this had given him time to map out the entire town and attract more trotters to town to make it more difficult for the people he was trying to kill. "This is going to be fun" he thought to him self, but with what had happen the day before, he was more cautious and carful with his planning. Using telepathy, when the train came into view he sent a message to zeta, "your first". They were the only words he spoke in his message.

Zeta was in the middle of his sleep, being awoken though by a telepathic message which left him confused at first. When he opened his eyes though, all seemed fine except that, he noticed Lady was buried in his chest.

So he stood still for a moment, laying his head back down and started to stroke her mane softly while remembering the message he received. It seemed like the same pony came back to haunt them yet again, which then got Zeta frustrated.

He didn't move though, since Lady looked too happy sleeping where she was.

Grand jumped awake, feeling bad she overslept "Are we here?" she said, sitting straight up in bed. she looked out the window and saw the train slowly pulling into the station. " Oh finally!" she sang. she brushed her mane, and tried to style it as best she could before standing at the window, watching the town grow bigger and bigger. " My sister is here, Im sure of it!" she said, excietedly

Ghost smiled at Grand and stood by her side. "I'm sure we will too, Grand. Good thing Appaloosa is trotter-proof. There hasn't been an invasion for a good while, so we should be okay." Ghost felt very confident about finding Grand's family. She wasn't about to let her down twice.

Grand squinted her eyes to see past the train station, but she only saw a few walkers roaming around. She was certain they were here. "Well, lets get going shall we?" she said out loud to everryone in the train. she swung open the door and jumped onto the desert ground of Appleloosa

Josh closed his notebook frowning and walked into the cart with grand and ghost "good morning what is the plan for today" Josh Jumped out beside grand looking at the desert " harsh place to survive in the desert let's hope we are able to stay in the city or trotter could be the least of out worried"

(I just realized that Fire Horn doesn't have a weapon of any kind.)

Appleloosa didn't look that different after the apocalypse than it did, apart from a couple of trotters here and there.

"I hope we don't run into many of them, i can't fight them off. I don't want to kill. Again." Fire Horn said.

Grand never thought about the survival aspect of being in the middle of a desert. "I suppose our first order of business is to find some food and water then" she said, trying to remember where everything was in Appleloosa. "I believe the saloon is just down mainstreet" she said, not completely sure if she was right or not

Ghost put on his mask and proceeded out of the train. He remained watchful, though, as he was worried about Zycrin being in the area. You can never be too careful with him.

"We're gonna search through the town and try to find Grand and Fire Horn's missing families and try to find some extra supplies. After that, we need to get moving again, before Zycrin has the chance to catch up"

"alright then after you" Josh said still frowning"there wouldn't have been any sort of weapons or crafting shops around would there?" I need a new katana preferably a metal knwo the wooden ones never last long" he said staring at the wooden july of his current katana

Zycrin walked out of the shadows near the train station were they where standing "What do you mean catch up, I was here long before you all, and I can say without a doubt that some of you will not be leaving here alive. I know why you are here, I know what you are looking for, why you find them I will be there, every where you go I will always be two steps ahead of you, caution were you step." Zycrin teleported of before any pony got a chance to even respond to him.

" I would think the best place to go for that would be the blacksmith" she said, racking her brain. She had only been here once for a school field trip when she was a filly. " but the saloon is closer, and water should be at the top of our list." she said, picking up a very conveniently placed map of Appleloosa floating around in the dust. She was so busy figuring out where she was going that she didnt even notice Zycrin

"You could look around. With all of the different skilled ponies here, I'm sure there should be something." Ghost continued to trot through the town, one small step at a time. With this being an area that he hasn't been to in a good while.

"great the party crasher is back" Josh said as zycrin disappeared "ill head off to the blacksmith ill be safe enough unless sharon comes and if he does i've got a couple of tricks that will get me out alive it shouldn't be to hard" josh started off in search of the blacksmith as he said that

Tempest noticed the train had arrived and smirked. "I was wondering when they would get here." He thought. The cyan pegesus then sensed a aura he knew all to well. "That couldn't be her, could it?" 

 

The dragon soon reached Appaloosa and noticed Tempest. She then let out a low pur.

 

Tempest smiled and put a hoof on the dragon's snout. "It's good to see you to, Dark. Anyway, we should probably meet up with the others." The cyan pegesus then flew to where Grand was, with Dark following close behind.

Grand began to walk to the Saloon, keeping an eye on the few Walkers scrabling around. No familiar faces, thank Celestia. "where do you think the survivors could be hiding out?" she said. then a thought hit her. " what if they have already cleaned out the town? It isnt that big, and if they are here we have no idea how long its been!" she said, suddenly a little nervous. "what if they already left town without a trace?"Grand had a habit of jumping to worst case scenarios. Grand looked up and squealed a little, noticing the new... cerature with them " What is that?!?!" she said, nearly jumping out of her skin

Josh reached the blacksmith which seemed boarded up and fortified "strange maybe a survivors camp"

Josh quickly flew over to grand " I found the blacksmiths it's fortified and I havnt been in there yet maybe your family is in there? " Josh sat down and waited for her response

Ghost couldn't keep worrying himself. He had to find Zycrin and stop him from killing off members of the group. Ghost then ran into the town and used his acrobatics to get around the town quickly, but surely, making sure he covers every square inch of the town. "I will stop you this time, Zycrin."

Grand shuffled away a little bit from the strange lizard thing, but her eyes lit up when Josh mentioned possible survivors. "do you think its them?" she said, looking around anxiously, but still a little wary of the creature. "Lead me there!" she said with a smile

Zeta had remained within the train since Lady hadn't awoken yet, fearing that if he left her then trotters would come. Or worse, Zycrin. He knew that being in the train alone was a horrible idea, but there was no way he would move yet.

 

(( Hey guys, can we wait a bit to see if Lady comes online? I hate to be stuck in the train the whole time ;--; ))

"who knows and we won't until we check" Josh said . He nodded at the two new arrivals and started I run to the blacksmith " not promising anyone will be there but there should be due to all of the fortifications around it" Josh said as they reached it

"I think i'll stay with Zeta in the train, you guys go on ahead, we'll catch up with you." Fire Horn said, gesturing towards the town. "Just let me know if you find anything, OK?" Fire Horn trusted these ponies, they were his... friends, yes, he considered them to be his friends.

Tempest landed and glanced at Grand. "That would be Dark Opal." He said. "I basically found her when she was an egg and raised her ever since. I did have a little help from my family, though."

 

Dark glanced at Grand and smirked. "Don't worry, I only eat gems." She said.

Ghost continued to run through the town of Appaloosa, hoping that Zycrin hasn't gotten to any of the survivors yet. Zycrin was going to take the survivors one by one. He knows that because that's Zycrin's way of "Having fun." Ghost then comes across a random pony's dead corpse with a note beside it.

"You can't be everywhere at once, Ghost. I'm going for Zeta first. You don't have much time, friend. I suggest you hurry back to the train and save your friend. Hurry up, now. Clock's ticking."

Ghost then jetted off back to the train before it was too late.
