"Oh believe me, if my son's magic is anywhere near as powerful as my wife's, he can handle himself." Fire Horn assured the pony. "I'm taking him with me, mainly because i don't want to abandon him here."

 

(I think there was a child in The Walking Dead so that's why i had the idea of bringing Starburst.)

Carrck turned to Fire Horn, "Sending a kid to a place infested with them sounds like a really bad idea. They would be more of a liability if somepony had to save them. It's no place for kids." Carrick turned to Ghost, reassuring him that he was some type of ninja-pony or great assassin. "Well, I've survive this apocalypse with my two bare hoof for a whole year now. I would be more then willing. Though...I would need some supplies for a certain thing  I must do." 

"I like the way you think, Sherlock." Chris gave Ghost the machetes he switched out on his boa staff and he showed them to Carrick. "My brother switched these out on my staff and replaced them with electric rods. Take the blades. It's the only alternate weapon I have on me right now."

Carrick gave a simple 'heh' and says "Suit yourself." The detective turned to see the machetes that are shown on him. His makeshift spear had been destroyed from just getting inside here. He took the blades and wave them around slowly. Feeling the lightness and enjoying to see the craftsmanship of it. "Impressive blades. I might add."

Dark was so deep in thought that she hadn't noticed a trotter sneak up behind her and bit her wing. The black dragon roared in pain as she crashed into the ground.

 

Tempest heard Dark and quickly flew into the air. He then noticed her body on the ground not to far from the city walls.

"Don't count me out, I'll be going as well" she said, jumping into the conversation. "It'll be nice to get this stupid blade out if the way." Grand bounced a little on her legs. "I'm a lot more prepared now that I've got all four hooves back, and I'm not staying back while you go on an adventure. Wherever you go, I go"

Ghost let out a slight snicker and shrugged. "Well, when you spend the past year of your life in utter lonesome, you gotta do something with all of that time."

(Just a heads up, you might want to check the ooc if you havent already. Shadow might make a reappearance)

"I dont want that sword bothering us anymore. And i suppose we should get it done before those three days are up, because this mysterious voice doesnt seem to be too welcoming." she said, glancing back at the sword

(Yup. I saw it. And I read the new character's bio. If that thing appears in Manhattan, the group will have quite a big problem on their hooves.) Ghost slipped on his mask and was prepared to leave for Manhattan. "I think we're all set. Everyone, grab on to me. I'll transport us through my dust cloud. Don't ask how. Just do it."

Tempest landed next to dark and used his aura to heal her wing. He then noticed trotters slowly approaching them. "You shall not pass." He muttered under his breath. The cyan pegesus then drew his swords and started murdering the trotters.  He then jumped onto Dark, before she flew into the air. "I believe it's time to make our leave." He said.

 

Dark nodded and flew towards Manehatten.

Grand grabbed onto him, and closed her eyes tightly. She was a little unsure of how this was gonna work. "alright, I am ready to go when you are" she said, eyes still closed and her grip was tight. "This isnt going to, uhh, hurt will it?" she asked politely, a little nervous, as she still couldnt do the teleportation spell

Fire Horn and Starburst grabbed onto Ghost, trying to stay confident about this, it's not exactly tested magic, knowing that it might go wrong was very stressful.

"This will work sucessfully right?" Fire Horn asked Ghost concerned for his son's safety.

Grand grabbed onto him, and closed her eyes tightly. She was a little unsure of how this was gonna work. "alright, I am ready to go when you are" she said, eyes still closed and her grip was tight. "Nah. You'll simply transform into dust with me. You may feel a slight pinch, though. Nothing major or life-threatening, though." Ghost assured her.

"This will work sucessfully right?" Fire Horn asked Ghost concerned for his son's safety.

"Well, carrying us all to Manhattan will take some work. Alone, I'll tire myself out before we get there. I'll need some assistance..."

Grand looked at him. " i could... try a teleportation spell, but I highly doubt itll be succesful. I cant teleport myself, let alone a group of us. But, ill try, if you need me to." she says with determination. "maybe Fire and I could do it if we worked together" she said, looking at Fire. " how are your teleportation spells?" she asked

"My magic isn't that good. I don't even know a teleportation spell." Fire Horn said. "Sorry."

"I could help." Starburst said, a grin on his face. "I can do teleporting spells."

"Are you sure, it's a lot of work teleporting 4 ponies?" Fire Horn asked.

"I'm sure, i can absolutely do it." Starburst replied.

"maybe if all three of us work together we can make it the rest of the way to manehattan" she said smiling at the other two unicorn/alicorns. "Im sure we can all do it if we put our magic together. But first lets let Ghost do the work." she said smiling at him."whenever your ready"

"What an interesting phenomenon. Having several ponies perform spell of this magnitude will be something." Carrick said walking closer towards the group. Seems like today is getting a bit more interesting. This group is useful for the time being. Who knows though...I have a feeling that this will be even harder than coming inside this city. This city doesn't seem to have walkers inside. While in Manehattan....if we can keep ourselves out of trouble. It's possible, but with a kid coming along. It might be better if we split into small groups. Who knows. I'm not the leader of this group. Best I better keep myself quiet. Get a better read on this group.

Fire Horn looked at Starburst and nodded at him. "Are you ready? He asked. Starburst nodded. "We're ready." Fire Horn felt confident in Ghost's abilities, he would have to, a lot was riding on his being able to get us to Manehatten and back in one piece. Sure hope this works.

"Good luck, bro." Chris said to himself as he watched his brother go off into the distance.

Ghost was going as super speeds through Equestria's landscape. He felt like that he could've never gone this fast. But he could feel his strength and power diminishing by the minutes. He needed assistance soon. Very soon.

Grand felt Ghost getting tired, and started to use her magic to give him power. She put all of her energy into it, and was hoping it was enough to push them just a little bit further. "come on Stephan, We can do it. We can make it there" she said, concentrating on her magic.

Starburst and Fire Horn contributed their magical power to the effort, something was going wrong though.

"Dad, i can't control it, it's too powerful, everypony, hold onto something!" Fire Horn grabbed onto  Starburst so they didn't get spereated if the spell went wrong.

Grand gasped and lost her grip, shooting out of the cloud of dust, landing somewhere in the streets of Manehattan. "uugh, Stephan? Fire?!" Grand called, but she was alone in an abandoned street in Manehattan. This wasnt good. Her Mechanical leg was a little busted, but still functioned well enough. " I suppose its time I find them." she tried to send out a tlepathic message, but she was too exhausted from the trip here

Ghost feels like something isn't right. He then realizes that he lost Grand. "Oh no! Grand!" Ghost flies back and tries to look for Grand in the streets.
