"Dust Cloud." Carrick replied. As reached the rooftop. The sounds of walkers are coming from the ground. Looks like I was correct. Must of bought them over with me crashing into the rooftop. Before any type of plan was reconginze, Grand just jump over the rooftop and crashed into another roof. Quite a fall down there....dang it. Can't leave her hanging with them around here. The only thing Carrick could do was to jump. He took a few steps back and then leap forward. Position himself onto the next rooftop. The fall still hurt, but he was able to roll off to stop any type of major damage. He went towards Grand, "Grand! Can you get up?" That wasn't any time for this. This is going to end bad if we stay here any longer.

Ghost was inside Zycrin's hideout, trying to find the cure to the curse. After flipping through a few of Zycrin's medicine and spell books, he found one that looked like it could work. "Hmmm... I better take this back to the group." Ghost rips the page out of the book ,leaves the hideout, and looks for the group.

Ghost notices the trotters swarming the survivors. "A small group of trotters. This is gonna be easy." Ghost then turns into a dust cloud and flies to the hoard of trotters. He flies through the undead's necks, decapitating them in a matter of seconds.

"So, Tempest, feel like giving the wingless one a ride." Fire Horn asked, referring to himself.

"That's funny, Dad, you're funny." Starburst said, a smile on his face. Fire Horn pulled him closer and said:
"That's what i'm here for." Fire Horn smiled while saying. "So, how 'bout it?"

Grand removed the fake leg. it was busted pretty bad from the fall. "we dont have time to think about this, we need to go!" she said, looking for another place to go, but it seems they may have stranded themselves. she began to panic "alright everypony, Im gonna have to try something, but i have no idea how its gonna work out" she said, looking at the filly and the detective. "its our only chance!"

Ghost stands before the dead trotters. He was more angry than confident. He could feel the sword beginning to take him over. It was beginning to change his way of thinking, his way of moving, his way of doing anything. He had to break the sword's curse, and soon.

Carrick contemplated what she had said. Our only chance, huh? Carrick looked down seeing the them reach closer towards the building. If anything there are a few ideas though it sounds like I would be playing the role of distraction. It would probably lead to a bad end from here. Carrick rubbed his chin, was he to trust this red mare? He took a deep breath as he never though too much of it. He let his gut make the decision....

 

"Do whatcha got to do, Grand. I've got your back."

Grand took a deep breath. " now before I do this,I should warn you ive never done it correctly. so, bare with me" she said, closing her eyes, focussing all of her energy and emotion into her magic, and grabbed onto the hooves of the other ponies. "here we go!" she said before a burst of magic consumed the ponies and they disappeared off the rooftop. They reappeared on the ground in an unfamiliar part of town, but Grand was exhausted, and could barely walk. "i...i did it! I did the teleportation spell!" she said happily. They were undoubtedy only a few blocks away, but it was enough to give them a head start, "alright lets run!" she said, grabbing the other ponies and stumbling down the alley

Tempest smiled and nodded. "I don't see why not." He said. The cyan pegesus then brought Dark closer to the building to the point where most of her left wing was on the roof. Tempest then flew off of Dark so that Startburst and Fire would have enough room.

Fire Horn got onto the dragon, it was massive and scary. (and black!), Starburst flapped his wings and flew up to the others.

"I should warn you, i have a phobia of heights, well, more of a phobia of falling and dying a horrible death of being converted into strawberry jam." Fire Horn said.

"You have funny wings." Starbust said.

Ghost noticed a weird disturbance as he was fending off the trotters from getting inside the building. The survivors weren't in the area anymore. But he knew they weren't dead. A thought then entered his mind. He was convinced that his new family left him behind. "I should've known. My family was dead long ago..." The sword began to take over his mind. His eyes turned completely white and his subconcious was changed drastically. For the moment, the sword was in full control of Ghost's every move.

"Wait." Carrick replied stopping on his track. He twitched his ears trying to hear the sounds of trotters about. "If we run, we'll make more sound and we'll be surrounded before we know it. I can barely hear them. If we can keep ourselves quiet, we might be able to get out of here without catching attention." The detective deduced.

Grand stopped, huffing. "I suppose your right. lets find somewhere to rest for a bit. Ive never been so drained in my life" she said, pulling herself over to Carrick. "but I did it!" she was so proud of herself. hopefully the rest of her group would be reunited soon. Ghost had been missing for awhile now, and heaven knows where Fire went

[Solana 2]

Solana looks around, her mouth hanging open. It's not hard to tell she doesn't see much of magic from her expression. "Whoooaaa." Is what trails out of her mouth before she smartens up and looks to the earth pony. "Well, if we loop around this large building here, there should be an alleyway that spits us out into a residential area." The filly must have been here for a while to know where they are. "And by the state of the area we were just in, the place shouldn't have many of them walking about."

With the sword controlling Ghost's mind, Ghost ran across the buildings looking for the group. The sword put only one thing on Ghost's mind; revenge on the group. Ghost was trying to break free. "No. They're looking for me. I know they are." The sword then spoke in a demonized voice that sounded like Ghost's. "No they aren't. You only want to do one thing to them; kill."

"That was rather impressive. Long distance teleportation with two ponies and a zebra. You don't see that everyday." Carrick tipped his hat towards her before he heard Solana's plan. "Well, sounds like you have better idea of the city than I do. Do you think you can find us any water around this area? We'll probably need some soon and Providence knows where my saddlebags are now."

Grand smiled meekly. "must because my emotions were running so high. The more intense my emotions, the more power my magic has" she said smiling. "but im pretty pooped. Lets head down this alley" she said, and promptly followed the young zebra. "so, what ARE you doing here by yourself anyways?" she asked curiously

Dark smiled and gently flew towards the ground. She landed on the ground next to Grand. 

 

 

Tempest shrugged and landed next to Dark. "Well, that was interesting." He thought. The cyan pegesus then shrugged and looked at the group. "So, did we miss anything important?"

[Solana 2]

"Course I can. There's a river not too far from here." She explains, slinking towards the alleyway while listening for any unwelcome strangers. "But I don't know if it's good or not. The bandits dump all the bodies and stuff in there. It's kinda gross. Maybe if we head up the stream, it'd be okay." Solana nods lightly to herself, as if thinking of the city's lay out. But when asked by the red, fluffy one of her purpose, her step falters a little bit before the zebra picks up her pace. "Well.. I was here with my big brother, but... We had a splitting of interests." She keeps it vague but also answers the unicorn's question.

"We were using Ghost's dust cloud to get from Trottingham to here, but Ghost was getting tired and needed the magic of unicorns."

Fire Horn said. "But then Starburst's magic got a bit out of control, then we all got split up, i hope they're all together. Anyway, we need to find them, come on you guys." Fire Horn called.

"Hmm, well. Maybe we can find a pan to purify the water a bit." Carrick thought aloud. He rose an eyebrow on her reasons of being solo. splitting of interests? Yeah, I don't buy that. Carrick kept his mouth shut. She didn't want to make the zebra who is helping them get angry. He continues to trot alongside Solana and Grand.

 "No. I can't kill them! They're my family!" "They were your family! What kind of family would leave their member behind! You want revenge, and I shall let you take it!" Ghost then drops down into the alley way where Grand and the other survivors are hiding out. Ghost has a dirty look on his face.

Grands ears perked up at the sound of Ghost behind them. "oh, he found us! youll never guess what I did!" she said, walking over to him happily." I teleported! I teleported me and the Zebra and Karrick! ive never done that before!" she said happily. "and Solana is showing us a river where we could get water! did you find the reverse spell? I could give it a try if youd like. well, not right now, Im a little winded from that teleportation spell, but give me some time and I can try it out" she said smiling

"Well-" Carrick could hear the sounds of a pony. He turns to see Ghost popped infront of them. The look of distraught on his face. Carrick detective's senses were tingling. Knowing full well that Ghost's calm demeanor towards them was gone and this...thing had malice towards us. Grand seems rather happy to see Ghost. The detective shook his head, "Grand, Solana...stay back. Something is wrong here."

[Solana 2]

Solana stops when the stallion drops down in front of them. She is uneasy and untrusting, so it is not a surprise when she romps her hoof down on the red mare's tail. "Doofus, look at him. He clearly looks... Unhappy. Even I can see that." She huffs, ears pinning back. Who was this chump anyways? Dropping on in behind them and giving her a good scare.

Ghost was trying to break free. "Yes... do it quickly... IT'S in control!" Ghost drops the reversal spell at Grand's side. He then kneeled on the ground. "Do the spell before he makes me kill you all!" The sword then begins to speak through Ghost. "It's too late. He's mine now!"
